Njut av ditt morgonkaffe på en av verandorna medan du kopplar av och lyssnar på de lugna ljuden av löv som rasslar i vinden och kor som stänger i fjärran. Titta på lekfulla ekorrar, olika fåglar, enstaka rådjur och annat djurliv på den omgivande 1 tunnland gräsmattan. Din hund (ar) kommer att njuta av att springa runt den inhägnad trädgården. Stargazers kommer att njuta av att se stjärnorna på natten.

Njut av att laga måltider i det fullt utrustade köket eller gå över till Dale's Essenhaus eller Walburg German Restaurant - båda inom gångavstånd från huset. Helgerna ger levande musik och en fantastisk familjär atmosfär för alla åldrar att dansa från april till oktober på båda platserna i deras populära biergarten.

Cute and Quaint

Very clean antique home. Cozy. Even near the street still had a peaceful calm. The two porches were lovely. Wish the weather had been better to enjoy the outside more. Will definitely stay again

A beautiful old home

The Walburg House is a beautiful restored early 20th century farmhouse. Staying there is like stepping back in time, with added modern comfortable ammenities such as wi-fi, a kitchen microwave, and flat screen televisions in the living room and bedroom. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the owner responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend the Walburg House when staying in the Georgetown area.

Beautiful place

I really enjoyed our stay at your place. The yard was unbelievable, and the dogs truly loved it, and we enjoyed the home very much! The owners were responsive and friendly! We would stay there again without any doubt! 5 stars plus

Lovely home with large fenced yard

Loved staying here! Our family and pups enjoyed our stay. The home had everything and more for all of us to feel comfortable. Plenty of room for the kids and pups to run around and lots of outside seating for the cool mornings and evenings to relax in. Great getaway for family!

Lovely

A very convenient location for the event we attended. A cozy and charming home. Enjoyed looking at the book of the home transformation and sitting on the front porch listening to music playing at Dale’s Essenhaus. Very relaxing. We will definitely stay again the next time we will be in the area.

Most Charming

After reading reviews about hearing the bar across the street, I was nervous that we would not be getting the quiet weekend away that I had planned, but the music was actually great! We ended up sitting on the porch all three nights we were there enjoying the music and dancing on the porch. Def one of my favorite places that we have ever stayed.

Best little farm house in Texas!

We loved Walburg Haus, it has a great yard and the dogs loved playing “go get the ball” . This is a very comfortable home. The farm house is decorated in traditional country America, but with all modern amenities. Location is prefect! A restaurant across the street made it nice when I didn’t want to cook. Many stores and unique restaurants within a few miles, located in a trendy little area! Less than 30 minutes to local attractions. Great home base for a relaxing stay!

Another great stay

We have stayed at this property before and once again everything was what we expected. A great place to stay away from the hubbub of Austin. We did find that the cable modem would drop the internet connection on a fairly regular basis but other than that, everything was perfect.

Family reunion

We enjoyed the property and the location was perfect. It was right across the road from Dales and the Walburg Community Center and just within walking distance of the Mercantile. The property owner was extremely helpful when we were in need of yard tools (rake, hoe, shovel). Will certainly stay there again if needing a place to stay on our next trip to Walburg.

Love this house!

This was our second time staying at this lovely, historic home. The location cannot be beaten. Sitting on the front porch listening to live music and sipping a glass of wine is my idea of a getaway. The house is so cozy and had everything we needed. The host is wonderful, responsive and available if needed. We will stay here each time we visit the area.
