Cozy Getaway Near Boat Launch - Raystown Lake

Tyst, rustikt mysigt hem på skogsmark, perfekt för en avkopplande resa. Vi är 1 1/2 mil från James Creek båtlansering nära centrum av Lake Raystown, som ligger nära Entriken. Detta hem har två sovrum, ett på första våningen med en queen size-säng, och det andra på andra våningen, med två queen size-sängar .. Det andra sovrummet har också ett upprätt piano för den musikaliska gästen. Wi-Fi är tillgängligt. Däck är möblerat med utomhusbord, sittplatser och en gasgrill. En eldring är tillgänglig från däck för att göra s'mores och ingredienserna är gratis! Ved finns för $ 10 / skottkärrabelastning. RV / campare är inte tillåtna. Gott om fågelskådning och skratta ekorrar. Se vår turistguidehäfte för alla typer av roliga saker att göra. Ha det så bra!

Lake Raystown är fiske- och båthuvudstaden i centrala Pennsylvania och James Creek-lanseringen är en het plats för basturneringar. Fem minuter från Lake Raystown Resort and Waterpark och Trough Creek State Park's Balanced Rock and Swinging Bridge, flera vandringsleder och fantastiskt öringfiske. Flera geocachingmöjligheter i området. 15 minuter från Seven Points rekreationsområde och marina och cykelvägarna Allegrippis. Guidade fisketurer och sjöstränder på Seven Points rekreationsområde och Raystown Lake Resort. Stor jakt i detta område på hösten.

Huset ligger ungefär 18 miles från Huntingdon, Juniata College, Lincoln Cavern. Blue Knob och Tussey Mountain Ski Resorts inom en timme. Penn State University ligger också inom en timmes bilresa.

Holiday getaway

Was definitely impressed on the cabin, very clean And comfortable location was convenient to everything when they said it’s all you have to bring is food because everything else is provided very correct would definitely recommend booking this cabin and we would definitely go again

James Creek Cabin - Stay @2

This is the second time this year we have stayed at this cabin. Absolutely love it. The weather cooperated allowing us to boat on Raystown Lake and have fires in the evening in the fire ring. We will definitely will be back again!

Perfect Family Vacation

This is our 6th summer staying here. Our kids and grandkids join my husband and me. A very relaxing property, yet close enough to Seven Points beach area and Raystown Resort for the water park. We can’t say enough about how nice this place is! Hoping to go for many more years.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay here! The cabin is one of the cleanest places I've stayed in which was much appreciated. The amenities were all well functioning. The landscaping of the property was pristine. And very close access to the James Creek boat launch eas perfect! 10/10, would stay here again!

Family Time

Beautiful cottage with all the comforts of home. Close proximity to all the activities Raystown Lake has to offer. Quiet location ideal for spending time with family and enjoying the outdoors. Our family (2 adults, 4 teenagers) would highly recommend!

We can’t say enough about how perfect this place was for our family. It had everything we wanted.

Our family enjoyed this property in so many ways. We like that it was pet friendly. The cottage was very clean decorated nicely and comfortable. The yard was just the right size for our small grandkids to play. And the fire pit was a favorite evening activity.

Perfect and Peaceful

We absolutely loved our stay. The cottage was so clean which made us feel comfortable and at home. It was so peaceful and quiet. Getting back to basics with the family

This is the second time we’ve stayed in the cabin, this time was just as wonderful as the first. With two grown daughters it’s so nice to have a quiet place to get back to just being a family without the hustle and bustle that life throws at you. Fishing, hiking, and kayaking is so much fun, nights by the fire and lots of laughing.

Raystown Lake Stay #2

This is the second time we stayed at Julie's cabin and it did not disappoint! As previous reviews note, this cabin is immaculate and has everything we needed for our boating adventures since it is only minutes away from the James Creek boat launch. We enjoyed our meals on the deck and fires and smores in the evenings around the fire pit. We accidently locked ourselves out one evening and Julie responded to our phone call immediately! We already have this cabin booked again in September with our friends from the DC area. Can't wait to come back!!

We loved the cabin!

We really loved the cabin and the area. The cabin was so accommodating with everything there we needed that we felt at home. We would definitely visit again if we're in the area. Our family purchased acreage on Piney Ridge in 1971 to take advantage of the newly formed Raystown Lake, built a road, cleared the land, roasted many a hotdog over burning brush piles, and finally built the cottage in 1974. It has been the site of many reunions, a wedding, a few honeymoons, anniversary & birthday celebrations, and Thanksgiving dinner has been a tradition here since 1974. The cottage has been well used & well loved. We chose the spot for its proximity to the lake to take advantage of the many activities such as boating, skiing, hiking, swimming and fishing. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
