"Bay Breeze" Àr ett tre sovrum / tvÄ badrum som ligger i Maritime skogen utanför North Bald Head Wynd. Detta hem Àr undangömt med fantastiska Live Oaks som ger dig kÀnslan av att vara i ett verkligt trÀdhus! De stora expansiva fönstren slÀpper in mycket ljus och den öppna planlösningen Àr bra för familjesammantrÀden. Den första nivÄn innehÄller ett garage och entré sÀtt. Den andra vÄningen i trÀdens toppar har det viktigaste vardagsrummet. Köket Àr vÀlfylldt och lever mycket bra. PÄ övervÄningen finns master king suite samt ytterligare tvÄ sovrum med delat badkar. Det andra sovrummet har en drottning och det tredje sovrummet har tvÄ tvillingar. Utanför har vi flera expansiva dÀck. NedervÄningen finns en utomhusdusch och gott om plats för grillning utomhus. PÄ övervÄningen av vardagsrummet finns en fin skÀrmad veranda med en matplats utomhus och en hÀngmatta. RÀtt utanför den avskÀrmade verandan finns ett solbad. Vi har wifi, tvÄ golfbilar och strandutrustning. Ett BHI-livsstilsmedlemskap som ger dig tillgÄng till golf och Shoals-medlemskap Àr tillgÀngliga för ett separat köp.

My family had a great time at the house during our Bald Head vacation. It was centrally located and a great home base for our trip. Everything worked well and was clean. Overall, I would definitely recommend.

Too short of a vacay

My family and I decided we needed a quick getaway for a weekend and booked this beautiful home! Everything was beautiful, it was spacious, and we LOVED the patio and balcony area!!!!!! If I had to pick a problem it was that there was no bathtub to wash my almost 2 year old child. Was it detrimental?! Absolutely not. My child had their very first shower and fell in love with the water splashing their face!!! 😂😂😂😂 we would definitely book this house again!!!!

We greatly enjoyed our time at Bay Breeze. We’ve been to Bald Head many times and this was the best living experience we’ve had. The sitting room was very spacious with plenty of room for all five adults. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, beach equipment was great, and the grill was fantastic. And we absolutely loved the surrounding live oaks - they’re beautiful and they’re everywhere. We will definitely consider returning.

Spacious fun house

Great open space - beautiful windows. Loved how the bedroom areas were separate and second floor laundry. Screened in porch with hammock was a popular spot. Great to have a 6 person cart and 4 person cart. Bikes were nice and kitchen was fully equipped. Noticed several electrical problems - flashing outside light, smashed outside light, light over table was missing a screw, outlet pushed in, light switch taped over.

Issues

The air conditioning on the upstairs bedrooms was DESPICABLE! It was very unpleasant sleeping at night. Way too hot. Even when we would adjust the thermostat, it constantly was reading 80 degrees!! A bit warm wouldn't you say? Also the toilet seat in the master bath needs to be fixed. And the garbage collectors told me that they cannot take the garbage because the one large golf cart is always in the way and they can't get to the location where the cans are located. Better come up with a better plan!! And finally it is ridiculous to charge someobe who has rented an entire house for a week a fee of $120 per person to get a 2-day pass to the golf course club pool!! And $125 per person to go on the conservancy tour and then to be told only 2 people can go!!! RIDICULOUS!! There is too much nickel and diming of your visitors!!! The best thing we did was go up in Old Baldy! You might want to rethink what you charge "renters", when they are there for a week. The beach was the highlight of our visit.

Great Family Space

Located central to the island, 2 Red Bay was convenient in location and the layout was conducive to the five adults staying. With a very large central living room/kitchen/dining area, we had a space where all could come together without feeling crowded. Having two golf carts with the rental allowed for us to go off in smaller groups. Having one of the carts as a six seater, allowed us to travel as a group.

Great stay/ exactly like the photos. The one golf cart was a bit old and a tad broken ok the back, but other than that it was a great stay. Weren’t there for a long time but it was fun to experience.

Outdated but comfortable for the weekend.

Location is very private which was nice, but the surroundings brought a lot of palmetto bugs, roaches, spiders, beetles and mosquitoes into to the house. The exterior could be kept up with better as well. Interior is quite outdated, but everything is functional (except getting water from the fridge and several pretty loose outlets, some of which didn’t work) and the beds were surprisingly pretty comfortable. We were really happy with accommodations for our baby such as a pack n play and high chair. Only major complaint was that one of the golf carts died on us several times even though it was fully charged, which was pretty disappointing. We didn’t have time to get a replacement due to wedding obligations, but the staff was very attentive and tried their best to accommodate to us. We really appreciated the great customer service. So we do recommend renting with this company, not so much the location.

Great Thanksgiving Getaway!

Our family enjoyed our time at this house SO much! It was so comfortable and inviting. The huge windows with the beautiful views of the forest made you feel like you were up in a tree house. The location was great-not far from the market and marina. The property manager had excellent communication and was always quick to answer any of our questions. We loved this place so much and would love to come back again soon!

Great Family Vacation

Nice, shaded property with cool home layout. Definitely a bit out dated, but that doesn't detract from the experience. The dishwasher was broken, which was tricky with a group of adults utilizing the kitchen for most meals. The master bathroom shower would be tricky to enter if you are older. Very high sides to climb over, but the additional bathroom is fine. We would probably stay here again!

Loved our stay

It’s a distinctive, beautiful open, modern design. The huge oak tree overarching the deck alone makes this house wonderful, without even mentioning the hammock set up inside the screened breezeway. We loved our stay.

Definitely a tree house feeling

The house was clean upon arrival, but it is what we called tired. Except for the plates and glasses, all of the kitchen equipment was old (one very used plastic cutting board, for example). Everything other than the couches is made of plywood. The outdoor furniture is usable but also very old and dingy. The beach chairs are in terrible shape. It is impossible to not enjoy a week on Bald Head! The house could use some updating of items mentioned which would have improved the quality of our stay.

Amazing spot

As soon as my fiancé and I got to the property, she wanted this house. Nice open floor for the living area and plenty of space for the bedrooms. The employee's at BHI were very helpful with every question i had about our stay. Great spot to get to most of the markets and restaurants within 10 minutes. Can't wait to plan another trip and hopefully rent out baybreeze again.
