Allt du vill ha och behöver för en avkopplande resa på BHI. Från den tid du går in i vårt hem kommer du att märka alla nya apparater och uppdaterade vardagsrumsmöbler. Helt nya sängar i alla fyra sovrum. Crofter har sin egen kaffestation för gäster som sover utanför huvudhuset. Vår golfvagn har två månaders underhåll för att säkerställa att du har tillförlitliga transporter runt ön. Vi har tänkt på allt du behöver. Om något skulle uppstå bor vår fastighetsförvaltare på ön och är tillgänglig för att tillgodose dina behov. Vi har ägt detta underbara hem i sju år nu och känner verkligen vårt hem, liksom BHI, en speciell plats. Vi vill gärna dela det med dig och din familj och vänner.

We frequently visit Bald Head, and this summer we came to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday. We had a great experience. Ainsley, the host, was really responsive to any questions we had. We arrived to find the house open and ready for us, which was a blessing given the distance we had traveled. It seemed like we were returning home. We generally dine out every night, but we enjoyed the place so much that we remained in and cooked and ate as a family at the dining room table. It made for an excellent evening spent with family. Every night after dinner, we would play cards and watch movies. In the morning, we were grateful for the opportunity to spend each day at the pool and the beach at the Shoals Club. Being able to use the guest passes to lay by the pool was a tremendous perk. Everyone in our group has decided to return. With such pleasant memories, a future stay would be like returning home.

Spring Break Getaway

Visited the island with our 12yo for a few days over spring break. House is clean and cozy, and everything was all set when we walked in the door. We enjoyed watching movies on the smart tv downstairs in the evenings after dark, and listening to the ocean in the morning. Fun location not too far from East Beach. Golf cart had recently been serviced, which was an added bonus!

Great stay once again

Not our first time staying here and won’t be our last. We love everything about it. In fact, we noticed there was a day’s gap in reservations so we extended our stay an extra day. Highly recommended

Great stay!

My wife and her friends booked their annual girls’ trip and decided on bald head island and this rental. They all really enjoyed their stay and my wife got to sleep in the separate suite which she likened to a treehouse. The owner was very responsive and they all enjoyed the beauty of the island. They also really enjoyed the hospitality of everyone on the island as well. Great stay!

Great get away close to our favorite beach area

The house was perfectly located close to the park for our dogs walks. A short ride to the Shoal's Club and our favorite beach. I loved sitting on the front porch each morning and just relaxing.

Location Location and Nugget Ice Maker!

This is a fabulous location - so close to the beach yet only a quick golf cart ride to the market and shops. Kitchen was nicely appointed, and the Nugget Ice Maker was a nice surprise. Our family loved that! The bunk room would be a tight fit if you're planning to use the trundle bed but everything worked out for our family's stay. Host was very responsive to communications and extremely easy to work with. Thank you for sharing your home!

return to Bald Head

Lovely house and neighborhood for a good price. We prefer the eastern end of the island so that we can swim in the ocean beaches and this house is pretty close. Probably the best stay that we had on Bald Head.

Best Location and excellent home!

We just wrapped up our stay at this house and it's was hands down 5 star. Super clean, great space/layout, and the location is excellent. It takes about 30 seconds to drive in the gold car to the beach access. We will definitely be coming back!

Beach vacation

This a cute house and a great location close to South Beach access. It’s well equipped but no frills. The owner was very responsive in the booking process and with the one question we had while at the house. The 6 person golf cart is fantastic.

Perfect Getaway

My husband, infant daughter, and our in-laws stayed here for 4 nights recently and it was terrific. This was my 3rd time staying at this property, and I have thoroughly enjoyed the stay each time. The accessibility to the beach and to the grocery are terrific, and we love the amenities the house has to offer - lots of pots and pans for cooking/dining! The lessor is so kind and welcoming throughout the process, and I hope to have another stay here soon.

A perfect Bald Head Island cottage

We spent three weeks at Canterwood Cottage this past summer. Canterwood cottage is Bald Head at it's best, lovely inside and out, stocked with all the right amenities and easily fit our family of 4 and grandparent. This house is in the perfect Cape Fear location right by the park and within strolling distance of east beach and the Shoals Club. Plus, Keith was wonderful to work with in planning our trip. We're already looking forward to our next visit to Canterwood Cottage!

Great location, nice house and it fit 7 of us comfortably

On a quiet street, near the beach and Turtle Central. 4 comfortble bedrooms for 3 adults amd 4 kids. Well cared for. The only drawback is the washer and dryer take a long time, especially the dry clothes.
