Fantastic house with lovely swimming pool

We all loved our stay. The house was very spacious clean and well equipped. The games room and swimming pool kept everyone entertained. We had BBQ every night sitting at the lovely outdoor table. Our hosts were kind and attentive and we all fell in love with the dogs It was a wonderful stay and we would definitely go back.

We had the best time.

From the beginning the coms with Xavier were really good with him getting back to us almost immediately. Like all chĂąteaus we have stayed in there is always someone on site. Artur was lovely giving us fresh produce from the garden and we loved the dogs. The kitchen has everything that you need for a large group. The outside is perfect for family dining, BBQ and pizzas (get advice if you haven't worked one before). The pool is really secure and was thoroughly enjoyed. We bought some extra fans as it was very hot. Le Fleix has a shop in walking distance for essentials and large supermatkets within 5k. We were 11 adults with a 2.6 year old and 6 month old. We used the games room and had a fabulous time.

Absolutely superb to sum it up. We were there in a heatwave (4 days of 42 degrees) so Xavier brought extra fans and was always on hand to help. 9 adults. 1 teenager, 2 kids and a baby
. All were pleased with their stay! We used the air con unit from the top floor to keep the middle floor cool each night. The pool is awesome and one of the biggest we remember in a rental. 14m long so big enough for those keen to swim! The BBQ area was used a few times, disappointingly the previous guests hadn’t cleared up everywhere (cupboards) which is just frustrating as it then looks bad on the host. There is so much room in the property and everything is provided. Even if there’s something wrong, Xavier responds immediately. WiFi was great everywhere although it did drop out after we had a storm and a power cut so easily fixed. Definitely would benefit from further air con units, especially in warm weather. And be prepared (especially when hot) for flies! The games room was great and kids and adults a like used it a lot. Plenty of parking. Easy to find. 5 mins from a local supermarket or 15 mins from Lidl and a large Hypermarche. Loved the huge fridge with the auto ice maker and the 2nd fridge which was always well stocked with bubbles and beer! Amazing place! Highly recommend and highly recommend host!

Fab family holiday

Superb in every way possible. So grateful for charming owner's personal attention and help too. Lovely pool, barbecue and pizza area, huge kitchen garden, excellent petanque court, lots of games, and very comfortable house.

Fabulous, spacious home in Dordogne

Perfect home to accommodate 19 people easily. Lovely outside seating areas with BBQ & pizza oven. So much space for us all. Activities galore with large pool, volleyball, ping pong and so much more. Xavier (host) was amazing, very helpful & excited to share the history of his beautiful home. Highly recommend staying here.

Le Fleix Family Holiday

Delighted by first impression and by overall grandeur of the property. Warmly welcomed by Xavier and his daughter Julia who could not be more helpful. All rooms light and airy and tastefully decorated, and very well appointed kitchen. Games room kept all occupied and the pool was in constant use - the pool size made a positive difference. Outside eating area perfect for family gatherings. Thank you Xavier

Perfect for the whole family

What can I say? Absolutely beautiful property perfect for large families. Enough space to not be under each others feet but plenty of spaces to all sit together. The pool is the largest I’ve come across and the outside kitchen/bbq area was perfect for evenings. Arthur the caretaker deserves a special mention. Nothing was too much trouble and the kids all cried when we had to leave him! Xavier was a fantastic host, helpful prior to arriving with any questions and a lovely welcome on arrival. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Very spacious

A lovely welcome from our property manager and the caretaker was very helpful when we had a medical problem with one of the teenagers. The pool was well looked-after although the sunbeds had seen better days and need new cushions as there weren't any. The property was large and fitted our family of 14 comfortably. A few more fans in the bedrooms needed and velux windows that open for more ventilation. Lots of interesting villages and markets nearby to visit and kayaking and paddleboarding down the Dordogne was idyllic.

Vacances en Dordogne

Cette propriĂ©tĂ© convient trĂšs bien Ă  une semaine de vacances familiales, grands espaces, piscine, trampoline, salle de jeux pour les enfants. Le problĂšme ce sont les intrusions rĂ©guliĂšres du gardien avec ses 2 bergers allemands, ainsi que les visites du propriĂ©taire pour problĂšmes Ă©lectricitĂ© etc..le gardien nous explique qu’à l’heure du repas il visionne les vidĂ©os des camĂ©ras...vous n’ĂȘtes pas du tout Ă  l’aise, ne sachant jamais quand ils vont surgir ( ils sont Ă  2 Pas). C’est regrettable sans compter l’heure de dĂ©part affichĂ© Ă  11h mais le propriĂ©taire arrive Ă  9h.pas).

Incroyable

De la réservation à l'état des lieux de sortie tout s'est parfaitement passé. Que ce soit l'extérieur ou l'intérieur il y a un vrai charme. Les chambres sont vraiment tout confort. Nous avons passé la quasi totalité de notre temps autour de la piscine ou sous le salon d'été. La salle de jeu est incroyable. Nous en avons aussi profité pour découvrir la région avec du canoé sur la Dordogne.

Notre rĂȘve s’est fait rĂ©alitĂ© dans cette splendide Chartreuse : nous avons rĂ©unis nos familles respectives, 3 gĂ©nĂ©rations, dans ce cadre idĂ©al, en ayant pris soin de ne pas dĂ©voiler le lieu exact afin de laisser l’effet de surprise agir
c’est ce qui s’est passĂ© dĂšs leur arrivĂ©e ! Tout est parfaitement bien Ă©quipĂ© et joliment dĂ©corĂ©, les piĂšces sont spacieuses, harmonieuses et confortables.Nous avons bien profitĂ© de la cuisine et des diffĂ©rents espaces qui invitent Ă  prendre le petit dĂ©jeuner, l’apĂ©ritif, les repas
dans la beautĂ© de murs chargĂ©s d’histoire et des vues dĂ©gagĂ©es sur les arbres et la nature de la propriĂ©tĂ©. Enfin, la piscine, les terrains de jeux et la salle de jeux furent pleinement apprĂ©ciĂ©s par grands et petits. parfait

la maison était en parfaite adéquation avec notre besoin et notre recherche . le propriétaire est trÚs à l'écoute de ses locataires. c'est un lieu idéal pour une grande famille grùce à une surface habitable impressionnante et des dépendances avec plein de ressources de jeux pour les adultes et les enfants. de plus la piscine est d'une trÚs grande taille.

Excellent séjour dans une maison superbe

C'est l'endroit idĂ©al pour une rĂ©union familiale ou entre amis. La maison est superbe, bien Ă©quipĂ©e, immense. TrĂšs belle piscine. Bons commerces Ă  proximitĂ© (boucher/charcutier, boulangerie, maraĂźcher). Un grand merci Ă  Xavier pour son accueil et Ă  Arthur le gardien pour sa gentillesse (on s'est rĂ©galĂ©s avec les Ɠufs du poulailler et les mirabelles du jardin)
