We were very happy with our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed plus more. We enjoyed the quietness of the property and location. Lots of games, books, extra blankets, bath towels and pillows even though we didn't need them. We would definitely recommend to others.

Family Ski Break

Mike and Karen are incredible - great communication! The house is stocked with anything you could possibly think of and more. Clean and comfortable for everyone we had with us. I cannot wait to come back and enjoy this home again!

2nd time as good as the first

Two years running, our group has had a great stay here. Karen is super-responsive, and the home is:-easy to get to with ample parking-spacious and cozy-so close to town and the hillIf I could "change" anything, there'd be a hot tub, but the Sauna amazing fireplace is a close second. Love it, will be back again!

Great stay in Stowe!

We had a great stay at Karen and Mike’s place in Stowe. There was enough room for our 2 families (8 total).The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved sitting at the large dining room table.The beautiful fireplace in the living room was wonderful on the cold days. The kids loved the ping pong table downstairs.Thank you for a great stay!

Perfect place and location!

As others have said, the pictures in winter don't do it justice, especially for a summer stay. The location is ideal, lots of board games and a ping-pong table for family fun, HUGE backyard. Not walking distance to much but close drive to everything! Shout out to Sir Charles Antiques in Stowe, a PHENOMENAL find, almost a museum. Mostly too pricy for ordinary people but amazing for an afternoon browse! Mini golf was fun, as was the Gondola ($$) All in all, a great family trip.

Great for a couple families

Terrific stay
 had two families (4 adults and 4 kids) in town for a ski weekend. House was better than advertised, stayed cozy and warm during some sub-zero days, and was excellent proximity to both Stowe town and the resort. Wished we had more time to explore, would be happy to stay here again to do so. Thanks Karen!

Perfect for a family ski trip

This is a great property that's perfect for a family trip to Stowe. The whole experience was wonderful. Helpful hosts. GREAT location. The house has a great flow that isn't fully captured in the photos. The living room & fireplace is cozy and perfect for a group. It's a hidden gem.

Wonderful Home & Location

A group of friends stayed at this house to celebrate my wife's birthday. This house is larger and more accommodating than depicted in the listing. We had a wonderful time and the owners were extremely accommodating throughout our stay! Definitely would stay again.

Great Stowe Stay

We had a great stay at Karen & Michael's place in Stowe. Location is just about halfway between the resort and the town, convenient to both. The kitchen and cabinets were very well stocked. The fireplace and huge sectional sofa were great, and the ample supply of well-seasoned firewood is a major bonus. Comfy beds and lots of linens. Good bedrooms separation and quiet, too, for parents and teens on different sleep schedules! There's a duplex neighbor as other reviews have mentioned, but she was quiet and super-friendly; we really wouldn't have known she was there but for the Christmas Eve-Eve campfire she invited us to share. Overall great place and stay, thank you.
