4th stay

We have stayed in penthouse 3 four different times and love it. The layout is good and we need 4 bedrooms/bathrooms. Plenty of room for our 4 granddaughters to run around. Only negative is the price difference depending on what time of year we stay, that’s everywhere tho.

PH3 great place to stay

We loved the fact that the access to PH3 is in the isolated, air conditioned part of the building as you exit the elevators. Very spacious rooms and especially the main area (living room, kitchen, dining room). We arrived the day before memorial day, and it was easy to access, check in and plenty of carts available to move our belongings from the van into the room. The view is incredible, and many of the pelicans in the area use the wind off the building to soar back and forth right in front of the balcony. We did not experience any of the negative aspects that previous guests had mentioned, so it appears that those issues were resolved. There were 8 of us, and we had plenty of room around the penthouse so we weren't running into each other. 4 bathrooms definitely come in handy for a large group. Would love to rent this penthouse again next time.

Great location

Large unit great for a family beach retreat

We have stayed in this unit on three separate occasions and like it a lot. The layout is great, with each bedroom having a private bath and a huge balcony with super views of the ocean. Location is convenient and there is plenty of parking.

Old Ladies at Lighthouse PH #3

Loved the views from the Penthouse. Elevators super fast. Lots of luggage carts. Keyless entry. Ice to purchase on site AWESOME!! Easy access to pool and beach. Great parking. Great property.

3rd trip to GS in this unit

We love the location, size of unit is perfect for us. We’ve never had issues with A/C or bugs in August before but this year was different. We saw 5 roaches during our stay, the air wasn’t super cool but we made do with the ceiling fans. Exterminator came and sprayed the kitchen and utility only. What we love is the size of the unit for our family. The decor is old so we don’t have to worry about the kids hurting anything.

Stunning Ocean Views

Great location on beach and for eating places. Unfortunately the condo was very dirty. It also needs updating. Beds are old as well as the sheets. Washer had something like grease and ruined some of our clothes. Pools were very well maintained, ample parking, and the beach is just beautiful.

Family vacay 2023

Our 2nd time to rent this penthouse. Perfect accommodations for our needs, 4 BR, 4 Bth, every family had their own bedroom and private bath. Open concept kitchen/dining and family room. Quick elevator service and plenty of parking. The pool area is perfect for little ones with a wade-in pool deck. We did have an incidence with someone sideswiping our car in the parking garage but that wasn't held against the Lighthouse. Perfect accommodations for us. Thanks, and until next year.....

Perfect spot

The room is amazing it looks exactly like the list very spacious and comfortable for our group. The only down falls were the door key pad getting in is very difficult to use we had to put the code in several at least 4 times before its let us in. And the couch wasnt put together it came apart everytime someone would sit on it. Other than those small things our stay was amazing location very 10 out of 10

Lighthouse Penthouse #3

Absolutely beautiful view of Gulf!!! Large kitchen, living room and dining room. Downside: This was the filthiest couch I have ever see top and sides by very visual stains. We had to use towels to set on. In master bedroom above toilet was black mold. When I opened the slider to the deck a cockroach was on the floor.

Penthouse 3 needs updating and painting

The location is perfect. We’ve stayed here for the past 5 years but each year the place isn’t being updated. The dishwasher didn’t work. The place needs painting and updating of the furniture. The Vacasa / lighthouse employees were extremely friendly and helpful.

Good stay overall, a few misses

Great things: view, spacious common areas, plenty of pool space, quick walk to restaurants and the beach, and security was tight with returning at night (post Hangout music festival) which was safe! Needs improvement: cleanliness (trash bag of towels left in the unit), bathtub drain in secondary bedroom had not been cleaned in some time, and VERY FEW toiletries provided (one roll of paper towels and two trash bags), no pantry staples (not even salt/pepper or coffee filters). A 10 guest unit for a 4 day stay will need more than what was given, and should not have to be purchased by the guests. Overall we had a great time in a great location, but a few things to improve on for future guests to make it 5 stars.

Disappointed in the penthouse

We cousins spent extra money to enjoy "the penthouse". This penthouse is in dire need of updating. The sofa was so dirty we had to put towels down to sit. The bathrooms were moldy and outdated; the balcony had 3 lounge chairs but the cushions were torn and unusable. We were very disappointed.

1. I have several pictures that I need to send to someone of issues that we found upon arrival 2. Fridge had nothing in the door to hold anything in. Ice machine did work 3. Need better knives 4. Need hot pads 5. Dishwasher wheels broken or melted Had to rewash after using. 6. Need more than one dish towel and clothes 7. Need new shower heads in front two bathrooms

Potential to be better

The view is amazing and the size of the condo is perfect. There is a lot of potential for this place but was disappointed with the cleanliness and customer service. We were notified on such short notice about a shower not working and had no option but to make it work for our large group. Upon arrival there was a clogged toilet with stool in it … we were able to fix it ourselves but to wake up to it overflowing into one of the bedrooms. Again, we were able to fix it ourselves and take care of the issue. The sectional couch was broken in all sections where it had to be sat on in individual units. When we folded it out to use the pull out couch, it was saturated in urine or vomit to the point the entire condo smelt horrific we had to leave. Not to mention the entire sectional was so stained and felt dirty. We immediately contacted customer service to remove the couch or mattress from it however, the issue was never resolved. After getting in touch with them everyday multiple times a days, the couch was never removed or cleaned. No one even came to look at it. The left us clean sheets at the door the day before our departure as if that was going to make it sleepable. We had no option but to buy air up mattress to accommodate our sleeping arrangements. Extremely disappointed with our stay and we will not be booking here or through this company again.

The proximity of the property to local restaurants and shopping is great. Great zero entry pool for kids Easy beach access Plenty of parking and security. parking. Always have felt safe staying there.
