Det privata, familjevänliga hemmet rymmer upp till nio lyckliga gäster med skuggor under gamla kustnötter och ligger tillbaka på en bluff i en öppen äng. Denna hyra erbjuder massor av komfort och stora öppna fönster; perfekt för att koppla av och njuta av naturen. Sitt ute på den övre balkongen ovanför vardagsrummet för en fantastisk utsikt över naturen. För dig som föredrar inomhus kan du koppla av i det nedre vardagsrummet och ta atmosfären och värmen i vedspisen. Köket är välutrustat med alla grundläggande bekvämligheter, det delade matrummet har plats för sex och frukostbaren i köket har fyra platser. Efter en dag med utforskning kan du äta en trevlig middag tillsammans vid picknickbordet och sedan njuta av ett glas vin tillsammans med eldstaden på kvällen.

Beläget strax utanför staden utanför Westhaven Drive, ovanför Scenic Houda Point (aka Camel Rock), erbjuder detta hem integritet och vacker utsikt över kusten, allt bara ett kort avstånd från vattnet. Det finns till och med en närliggande konstgjord väg ner till Scenic Drive, där du kan komma åt flera stränder till fots. Bara drygt en mil längs kusten kan du äta vid vattnet vid Moonstone Grill för fantastisk mat och fantastisk havsutsikt. Och om du vill utforska Prairie Creek Redwoods National and State Park (RNSP), Lady Bird Johnson Grove, Tall Trees Grove, Prairie Creek, Lost Man Creek och Trillium Falls, är de alla cirka 30 mil norrut.

The place is not clean or well kept. No extra toilet paper except for the small half used rolls that were on there. Bedding wasn’t clean, cobwebs throughout and the shower head downstairs needs replacing as the water barely comes out. The property is a pretty place but is isn’t beachfront that is usable. This would not be a safe place for a family with young children. It was private and not really walkable to Trinidad which should be noted. I thought this was walkable to the shops/restaurants. If it were clean I would have felt very different. The heater works well downstairs but it is cold upstairs. They also need a coffee bean grinder. This definitely isn’t worth over 500 per night.

Kitchen was perfect. The Floors were a little dirty/dusty - but if not used regularly that can easily happen. Overall - Family loved it and will use again in the future.

Fell in love with NorCal

This was our first time visiting Northern California and absolutely fell in love with the area. The house is perfectly located and allowed easy access to Trinidad and north of there to see the redwoods as well as Eureka. It has all the amenities we needed, including comfortable beds, good WiFi, kitchen utensils, as well as a gorgeous view of the coastline. We will def be back!

Very old, dusty, stale house full of spiders

This home is very old, at least 1950s but likely older. It smells of old, stale, musty woodwork, and is full of spiders. While the sheets were nice and clean, we found spiders in 2 beds, and on our luggage as well. Webs cris-crossed the kitchen each morning. The windows don’t really completely close, but the two heaters work very well. The view of the ocean isn’t really possible from the house, you need to walk about 60ft to the back of the yard and look over the cliff. The lot is large and fairly secluded. In the end, we didn’t enjoy the view as much as others, mostly because it was so far away from the house. And there wasn’t anything within walking distance from the house. Due to the strong smell and the spiders, we actually left a day early. We couldn’t handle it. Our luggage was starting to smell like the house. The house and yard have tons of space. If you don’t mind the stale old house with challenging views of the ocean, then this could work. We contacted Vacasa a day early to check out, with no response. We were very happy to get out of there. It's definitely not worth what we paid for it. Unless there is a significant remodel, you're basically renting a house like those museums that show how the early Settlers lived. Do yourself a favor and find something newer and cleaner.

Very old, musty, stale house with lots of spiders

We ended up leaving a day early as we couldn't handle the old, stale, musty smell and all the spiders (in the beds, in the kitchen, in our luggage). We didn't get a response back from Vacasa when we sent a note that we were leaving a day early. The house is maybe 1950s or older. It's like those museums you visit showing how the settlers lived, but this is your rental house. The location is nice, but nothing is walkable, and you can't really see the ocean without walking 50yds to the cliff behind the house to look down. You can't hang out on the porch and see the ocean. It's a big, quiet, secluded lot. It's a big house. The kitchen is newer, but still old. It's just not worth what we paid and we were very happy to get to a clean hotel without all the bugs and smells and dust that this house had. I believe if you want a lot of space, this could work, but just prepare yourself

Beautiful views

This was a great location for our Redwood national forest visit. The ocean views were spectacular. It is an older house but is in good condition. We spent a lot if our time in the huge back yard. It was a great place for everyone age 12 to 66.

Relaxing getaway

From the location to the amenities, this place was perfect for our getaway. There was plenty of space for the 6 of us to sleep, watch TV or help in the kitchen. The couches in the living room were very comfortable and the beds were good too. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again when in the area.

This place was amazing! The view of the ocean was awesome. The house had plenty of beds and rooms to accommodate all 6 of us. The only thing that could have been better was the amount of towels and toulet paper. We had to buy some toulet paper because we ran out and had to wash towels and washclothes because we were out of them even using them more than one time. Not a big deal but wanted to mention it. The living area was comfortable and the kitchen was very spacious and had everything that we needed for cooking. Wifi and Smart TV worked great. We had an amazing time!

Charming place

The house was adorable… maybe a little ‘funkier’ than I expected and the rooms upstairs had really low ceilings, which was fine but just expect it. Overall it was cute and had a nice ocean view but the ocean is not accessible from the property, you have to drive down to scenic route and then go to the beach. Vacasa is easy to work with and the only confusion was that the texted instructuons for check out were slightly different than what was in the notebook house rules guide… I didn’t realize they were different until we had pretty much done everything so it ended up half we followed the book and half the text…but overall a very cute place

Great views in a comfortable setting

The property was very comfortable, cozy. Perfect location for us to explore the area. That said, we recommend that the directions/guidebook left in the property be updated to include directions on how to use (or not) the fireplaces, and the heating systems (we had to call to get the updates).Overall, very pleased!

This home is nice. There was 9 of us and we were comfortable. We were here during the early spring time was we couldn’t use the yard much. The view needs to be worked on. There are tree branches in the way.

Loved it!

We had a family Thanksgiving at the house and were delighted with the large yard and view! It looks a little different than it does in the pictures but overall it was a comfy and charming place.

I’m the location is great with a wonderful view of the ocean. However, this is an older home in a woodsy area so I wouldn’t pick this spot if you are squeamish about flies and spiders. If you don’t mind that, then go for it.

Breath takeing vacation

Even tho the house was older..it made the our vacation enjoyable the house have a large yard for a verity of things to do..we had the volleyball and bad mitting games going on not to include horse shoes and corn hole ..with enough yard to play all the games without interfering. UT the best part was the breath takei g vies of trinidad harbor..felt like I was in the movie goonies.just an alla round great vacation..if you want enjoy a buittfull quite vacation I absolutely recommend going to seaside airb&bs rental

California Dreaming

The house is exactly as described. Felt "homey" the second we walked in. Very clean and obviously loved by the owners of the house. Sitting in the backyard with a glorious view of the ocean from three different perspectives was a dream. Loved eating the fresh blackberries and watching the California quails. Would 100% stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful spot for a family gathering!

The house was very clean. The space was as described. The kitchen was great. You could hear the ocean and could get to it quickly. So many things to do near by. Highly recommended staying at this home.

Great Place to Stay

What a fun, welcoming, and amazing house, I'd love to know the history of the property, house, and furnishings. It was extremely comfortable for the 4 of us, had every amenity possible, and the kitchen supplies were beyond amazing-every single thing you might ever need to make a snack or a gourmet meal for 20! Cleanliness was superior, very appreciated and more difficult to maintain in a older house. We all loved the property and the house itself was a standout-intriguing, amusing, comfortable, welcoming, spacious, fascinating and one of the best places we've ever stayed. Not a run of the mill, cookie cutter type of rental, this place had personality, soul, and comfort and suited us perfectly. A gem of a place and I can't recommend it highly enough, we loved it!
