Välkommen till Ruidoso Tara (ja, borta med vindreferensen). Nannie och Gran Gran, mina morföräldrar, uppfödde mig och jag var Gran Gran's lilla Scarlet. Jag äger nu vårt familjhem och känner mig välsignad av deras arv att dela det med så många vänner jag kan. Ruidoso Tara är känd för lata eftermiddagar på däckssolen, musik & cocktails och långa eftermiddagslappar. Om en upplevelse av att återvända hem är vad du letar efter ska du inte leta längre. Du har hittat ditt nya hem hemifrån.

Jag bor på plats i master sviten. Mitt rum kommer att vara låst under din vistelse. Jag kommer att stanna någon annanstans men antingen jag eller mina vårdtagare hälsar dig vid ankomst för att överlämna nyckeln. Efter det är hemmet allt ditt.

Ruidoso Tara ligger på en halv tunnland och sover 14 gäster bekvämt. Ruidoso Tara ligger i Ponderosa Pines och ligger i det populära Upper Canyon-området. Om du är en träningsentusiast kan du gå till toppen av övre kanjonen från mitt hus och tillbaka och ha genomfört en tre och en halv mil vandring. Den bästa delen av vandringen är att gå längs den vackra bakgrunden av en brusande flod.

Om du vill gå ut förbi mitten av staden finns det många intressanta beteckningar till hands. Ruidoso ligger i Lincoln National Forest med många vandringsleder tillgängliga. Eller, om du är en adrenalin-junkie, finns det två zip-upplevelser som väntar till hands. Om du är en spelare letar du inte längre än Inn of the Mountain Gods för att få dina motorer igång. Eller, om du är en hantverksöl och pizzaälskare, gå till Cloudcroft Brewing Company. Min personliga favorit är Glencoe Distillary i Glencoe. Lite av en enhet men helt värt det!

Perfect Get Away

Had a wonderful New Year trip with my family! The house is perfectly located near downtown but just outside enough to be nice and quiet. The house is beautifully remodeled and decorated! The fireplace was cozy and warm and perfect for family game night!

Heavenly family time in Ruidoso

This house with it's many beds and wonderful chef's kitchen, big dining tables, and proximity to Ruidoso was perfect for our family reunion/ retirement party for Grandpa. We played a massive amount of games at the large dining table, walked the neighborhood and shopped. We even enjoyed a light dusting of snow for our after Christmas party. Christi was so considerate of us, compared to other places we have stayed. She sincerely wanted us to have a nice time and welcomed us. We did get to feed the deer too, the kids loved that. We will be back!

Thanksgiving at Tara Manor

The property was amazing and we couldn't have asked for a nicer, more organized host. Christi was very responsive to all of our questions and even surprised my mom with a gift for her 80th birthday! We were extremely happy and would love to stay at her home for our next vacation.

Perfect home and location!

The online listing doesn’t do this home justice! The house is beautiful, wonderful location, quiet, you name is it this home has it all. 14 of us stayed in this home comfortably. The beds are comfortable, I love the kitchen, the rooms are dark and quiet which made it perfect for kids who play all day and need a restful sleep. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and more. Large dining table with stools at the kitchen island made is perfect to have great family meals together. Absolutely wonderful back yard. We played a game of family football and also cornhole and there was PLENTY of room to run. The neighborhood that the home is quiet as well which made the stay even better. I can’t say enough great things about this home. Best “home away from home” I’ve ever stayed in!

Beautiful home! Perfect location! Amazing host!

This house was updated and very beautiful. I would recommended this house to anybody based on the location and the host! Christi was super helpful in so many ways and easy to communicate with. She helped us sort out issues booking another night and even met us at the house to provide jumper cables when our van wouldn’t start. This home was really close to downtown for shopping, the creek, and grindstone lake if you are looking to hike or spend some time on the lake. You won’t regret choosing this home for your next vacation!

Beautiful Home

We booked a last minute trip to ruidoso this Past weekend. We were a pretty large group totaling 14, we were struggling to find a place for all of us to stay together, until we found this Gem! Our quick getaway trip was one for the books ! From our amazing host to the beautiful home she let us borrowed to the amazing activities we all enjoyed but most importantly the memories we will all carry for a lifetime ! Thank you Christi for opening your home to our family, your home is beautiful inside and out! We will most definitely book this beautiful home again and will stay longer !

I was born in Odessa, TX and now reside in the Land of Enchantment. I was commissioned as a Stephen Minister from my church in Dallas, TX in 2003. Serving in this capacity allowed me to walk alongside many people through their darkest hour and remind them of the hope they have in Jesus Christ. Those experiences then led me on an exciting journey of becoming a Kenyan missionary. Back in June 2006, I had no idea what kind of an impact my first mission trip would have over my life. After touching Kenyan soil for the first time, my life was irreversibly changed! I inherited a Kenyan daughter and heard from the Lord that serving in this community was my life's work. Experiencing life in Obunga shifted my very being. I've learned how to need less, give more, and serve with my whole heart, no matter what the cost physically or emotionally. In addition to my time spent in Kenya, I love to listen to people's life stories, watch documentaries, read, exercise, and disco dance to my favorite band Le Freak!

Ruidoso Tara is special since it is my family home. My grandparents spent their happiest years here. I was privileged to be raised by them and then inherit our home. Nannie and Gran Gran knew how to have good time and the home exudes that vibe. Nothing brought them more joy than entertaining! I've kept the tradition alive as Ruidoso Tara has become a haven for my girlfriends. You cannot spend time here and not feel a level of peace that you simply can't find in the big city. Friends return home recharged and ready to face their next set of challenges life throws their way. My hope is to provide that same experience for you.

Ruidoso Tara is unique because it was completely remodeled after I inherited it. I am blessed to have a best friend that is an award winning interior decorator! Every inch of my home was designed and decorated with the intention of being inviting and comfortable for guests.
