Spiritual Getaway

Just a couple of brothers getting away from the stress of work and life in general looking to have a spiritual getaway and connect with God and nature and we could not have asked for a better place to stay with such a gracious host. You can marvel at Gods beauty just from the back balcony, I would suggest waking up early to enjoy the sunrise view of the mountains in the background. The house was well maintained, clean, and festive decorated for the holidays. There is plenty of room for a large family. Ben was very responsive and helpful. We are already started to plan our next getaway and we hope to be able to secure this home again.

Christmas Getaway

Great views, good internet and well decorated house for Christmas. Plenty of kitchen utensils and dish ware was available. The split heating system allowed us to adjust each room to our personal taste… enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Lives up to all the 5 stars

I was a bit skeptical of so many five stars, but now I know they lived up to it! Very clean and well stocked. The owners go above and beyond by providing all sorts of information about the area, even providing owners manuals for all the appliances, HVAC, etc.

Exactly the space we needed

Two couples spent the week hiking, playing board games - and even a little astronomy. The house was as expected and exactly what we needed for space, meal prep and playing games. There was still room for everyone to get alone time. All communications with the hosts were courteous and prompt.

Wonderful views, quiet neighborhood, house has plenty of room, very clean and kitchen was well stocked with everything you may need. Everything is just as website states. We really enjoyed our stay. it even snowed while we were there.

Enjoyed our time!

Great time in Maggie Valley as always. The home was clean, great view and well appointed for all needs. It took us a little time to figure out the air conditioner units but we enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Beautiful location, but needs to be updated

We spent 7 days at Rooms With a View and we all loved it. It was me, my three adult children, and my son’s girlfriend. The location is amazing and the views from the house are spectacular. Ben was extremely prompt in responding (literally in less than a minute almost every time), and even when I messed up and tried to check-in before time (got check-in and out mixed up) he was patient with me. The house is stocked with everything you will need and is close to everything. Asheville took us 35 minutes and Gatlinburg was 80 minutes. The only complaint is that the house is very outdated-wallpaper is peeling a lot in both bathrooms and decor is what we called 90’s grandma. Updated paint and furnishings would make this place absolutely perfect. The beds are comfortable and there is a lot of room for everyone to move about without feeling like you are on top of each other. We also appreciated that the Christmas tree was left up-loved that! I definitely recommend Ben’s place.

Staying in Maggie Valley

We stayed at 533 Greenview from Oct 7-14. We had a lovely time. The property was great - very clean, had everything we needed. There were a few minor discrepancies, which the owner had fixed almost immediately.

Peaceful getaway

We had a wonderful time staying in Ben’s cabin. The views are amazing, but we did have some fog that limited the view. It is comfortable and spacious and we were happy that a small dog was allowed. It is an older cabin that could benefit from some updating, but everything is working. We saw a red fox but no bears, although the friendly neighbor had seen four before we arrived. It’s a great location for exploring the mountains and even Asheville is only forty minutes away. We would definitely stay there again!

A relaxing time was had by all!!!

First impression was of the drive up to the property. The last 1/2 mile of the road is more winding and narrow than what I am used to. However, any concerns vanished when we arrived at the house. Very well taken care of, the electronic lock system worked flawlessly., and we were very pleased when we went inside. The kitchen was completely stocked with utensils, plates, etc. All three bedrooms were a very nice size, huge closets, and the mattresses were all very comfortable. WiFi signal was very strong (a must in today's world!) and TV selection was great. The best part of the house is the back deck, which runs the length of the house. Four rocking chairs, a table, gas grill and a view of the mountains to die for. What a quiet and beautiful place to sit, relax, and simply enjoy nature. Ben was very quick to respond to any questions., which I really appreciated. You'll love it here...
