Beautiful and relaxing stay

This property was beautiful and relaxing. It had everything we needed for a weekend stay with family. The kitchen was well stocked and would ve great for a longer stay as well. We really enjoy our stay.

Ideal Family Vacation

Staying here was a wonderful experience from start to finish! The home is beautiful, clean, and well take care of. The location was perfect for being on the lake - just a quick minute drive to the shared boat dock. The hot tub, pool table, and close proximity to town made even rainy days very enjoyable. The owner was super great to work with. We would recommend this to anybody looking for a nice getaway in beautiful Rabun county!

Great Stay!

This rental is well worth the cost. It is a well-equipped, beautiful cabin!! It is also in a great location. There is so much to do in the surrounding area. Ran out of time and didn't get down to the lake. Next time!

2020 summer vacation

House is absolutely gorgeous! Lake Burton was walking distance. We rented a boat and jet ski for one day while we were there and wished we would have done it for longer.

Family wedding.

We had easy access to Lake Burton, Clayton GA, and wedding events. All enjoyed the pool table. When we arrived we were surprised that there was no coffee or coffee condiments on sight. I would recommend this property.

Great cabin for amazing relax in mountains

We had an amazing family/friend time in this cabin. The cabin was super clean, great common areas for fun even for large groups, and overall cabin's decoration gives real cottage feel in and out. The owner was very responsive, provided all important information incl. fun things to do in the area and places to eat and rent boat. We can only recommend this place for those who look to spend a time in woods, near Burton lake, and enjoy peaceful relax.....away from city rush.

We enjoyed our long weekend at this property. Would like to have known that fireplace didn’t work but that was not needed. The trash haul wasn’t pleasant but we adhered to rules. Overall it was a good experience and we would stay here again.

Fall Motorcycle Trip

The property was great. Our party used all of the bedrooms/sleeping areas (there were 7 of us) and there was plenty of room in the garage for the 4 bikes. Little bit of a hiccup with the operation of the hot tub but the owner was more than available and helpful in getting it running. Traveling up the gravel road the first time to the house was a little sketchy but after that time it was great and just added to the adventure. Our whole group definitely recommends this property for a mountain get away.

Unwind

Cabin is very welcoming. Beautiful Kitchen and a great gathering place. The bed & pillows WERE AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE, I actually slept better at the cabin then at my bed at home. Was a little disappointed that one of the upstairs bedrooms had a window unit instead of central air, but we did not need to use that bedroom. The lake was so relaxing and refreshing. We will defiantly be back. THANK YOU for a wonderful time.

Perfect Father’s Day getaway!

This clean & comfortable pet friendly home was perfect for our family of 8 people! Communicating with the owner, Petra, before and during our stay was so easy and she was very responsive and gave clear instructions that made check in & check out easy. The hot tub and pool table were nice amenities and provided great entertainment when we were in the house. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to prepare 2 dinners & 2 breakfasts for all of us. We rented a boat from LaPrade’s Marina and I highly recommend doing that if you want to spend anytime on the water and enjoying the beautiful lake views. We definitely plan to return to this lovely home!

Wonderful Family Mountain Getaway

My family and I loved our stay at this cute mountain retreat near Lake Burton. So easy to relax here, eat together here, play here, and enjoy time together here in the north Georgia autumn. We had 9 people total with kids ranging 10-16 years old and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the house. Best of all, Petra was very kind and warm to work with. The house is a little distanced from things (part of its charm) so a grocery run before arriving is probably a good idea. But overall, highly recommend and would rent again.

Spacious and Secluded

This home was snuggle in the woods just a short walk from Lake Burton. It was absolutely beautiful. It had everything we needed and more to accommodate all 9 of us. The home is very well kept and clean. We unfortunately were not able to take advantage of the lake due to the weather but we went for a hike at the near by park which ended in a beautiful waterfall view. Only about a 7 minute drive away this was one of the highlights of our trip. We will definitely be back again.

Great Long Weekend

We really enjoyed our stay! It was exactly what our family needed. Petra was great, welcoming, responsive, and thorough. The property was spotless and in great condition. We cooked a number of meals and the kitchen was fantastic and well stocked with equipment. The absolutely only thing that could have been better was the trash situation. It's hard to deposit your trash if check out is at 11 and the recycle center does not open until 12. We wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you!

Great getaway to Lake Burton

Took a group of eight family and friends. Really enjoyed the pool table, the massive kitchen, the hot tub and the lake toys. There was plenty of parking for four vehicles. The house had everything we needed. I would note that the road is gravel for the last 300 meters or so and there are at least four run offs from up hill that make it a very bumpy ride in anything that's not SUV height. We had two suv's and two not so it was noticeable. The place was great for us though. Can highly recommend.

Awesome weekend!

We stayed here for my daughter's senior Fall Break and had a great time! Petra was awesome and made sure we had everything we needed. The layout of the bedrooms worked really well for our group. The master suite is awesome and the kitchen is fabulous! We loved playing board games at the large dining room table. The teens played pool every chance they could! I agree with the other reviewers that it would be nice for the loft bedrooms to have a door for noise and privacy, but it wasn't really a problem for us. Very short drive to the community dock. We had a great time walking around the town of Clayton and enjoyed the restaurants there (plus ax throwing!). We also spent a day in Helen and had a blast. Both are very easy drives.
