Uppdaterad rustik 1930-talets ursprungliga stuga med nya bekvämligheter inklusive skärmrum och däck belägen bland träden och rododendronen. Tyst gata intill nationalskogen och kort promenad från Anchorage Marina vid Lake Burton. Två sovrum, master med king size-säng och andra med full säng, och 2 fulla bad plus rymlig men mysig bostadsyta inomhus och ute. Originalfönster med skärmar du kan öppna på kvällarna för att släppa in den svala nattluften. Vedspis med gott om ved. Stuga utrustad med diskmaskin, tvättmaskin och torktumlare, central värme och luft, takfläktar, TV-apparater och DVD-spelare, plus flera brädspel och böcker att välja mellan. Guider till lokala intressanta platser och menyer från lokala restauranger i stugan. Flera fantastiska vandringsplatser inom en kort bilresa och stuga ligger bara 6 miles från Clayton centrum. Även bra öringfiskeplatser i närheten inklusive Smithgall Woods / Dukes Creek, Smith's Creek på Unicoi Lodge, Moccasin Creek och Wildcat Creek. Ett bra ställe att "komma ifrån allt", men inte långt från livsmedel och restauranger.

Wedding Anniversary

Had a wonderful visit. Enjoyed our time at the cabin. Cabin was very nice and rustic. The hot tub was definitely a perk and the screened in porch was great, especially in the mornings and evenings.

Great Stay!

The cabin was beautiful and a wonderful place to get away for a weekend! We enjoyed the local hiking spots and the local eateries, in town. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get away for a little while and enjoy the natural beauty of the mountains.

New Years in the Mountains

This was a cute cabin in a great location to spend some time in North Georgia! The cabin had everything you need, the hot tub was fun, and Julie was an incredible host. Great location off the highway and close to the lake too!

Cozy Getaway with the Girls

Cute cabin to get away with friends or family. Had so much fun playing with the games they have in the cabin while enjoying a fire. Not a far drive from town where there is cute stores, good food and an adorable bar named Oldknow with delicious cocktails.

Cozy Cabin

We enjoyed our stay lounging on the screened porch, hanging in the hot tub and playing games! The ambiance was prefect and has everything you may need! While we didn’t do anything in town this trip, it’s close to downtown and we were able to make it to Andy’s trout farm for our son to catch some fresh trout. Overalll great trip!

Good location

The location of this property is very good for visitors wanted to be close to Lake Burton and Clayton. The property was clean and the property manager was very helpful upon check-in. I would recommend this property and would not hesitate staying here in the future.

Wonderful location and outdoor spaces

We had a great stay here. Julie was communicative and accommodating, quite a nice owner! The outdoor screened patio was a favorite for all of us. The home had comfortable beds, fast Wi-Fi, and a cozy/quirky cabin feel. The fire pit was also a nice addition.

Great place for our anniversary

The owners were very thoughtful and very attentive to detail. It was great communicating with them before during and after. We could tell they take care of this with loving care. It was very private love the hot tub and shower outside. Very peaceful and even in the rain. We highly recommend it. Right across the street from the marina was very convenient.

New Christmas Memories

The cabin was clean and spacious. The property owners’ made check-in and check-out exceptionally easy. Their communication was prompt and they answered our questions throughly. The property description and minor draw-backs (limited parking) were explained before-hand. I highly recommend this property.

Nice Porch

Sweet outdoor screened in porch. Upside: great porch, awesome outdoor shower, comfy bed, nice, clean, and comfortable. Cons: outdoor furniture could be more comfortable, the road noise outside can disturb the beautiful location. Conclusion, would love to stay again. Well worth it for the location and nicely appointed cabin.

Wonderful property!

Great place to stay with our dog. Close to so many things. The property was absolutely spotless! Pictures and description depict all accurately. The king bed was very comfortable. Lots and lots of great little touches everywhere! Julie was wonderful to communicate with. The screen porch was absolute heaven! Would definitely come back!

Awsome get away near everything in northern GA

We loved our stay here recently, right when the fall foliage was coming into full bloom each day we were here. The home is so conveniently located to downtown Clayton, minutes from Black Rock Mountain, three vineyards, the Highlands, Dillard, Hiawassee, Tallulah Falls, and anywhere you wanted to visit and all within 30 minutes and mostly less. My husband and I and our Sister and two senior dogs loved the home, especially because there were no stairs which helped all of us seniors- four legged and two legged. It was peaceful and secluded enough but close to amenities. Loved the new back deck and out door shower and hot tub. Had great s’mores sitting around the fire pit. The wood burning stove and heaters in the bathrooms kept us toasty and warm. We loved- loved the screened in room on the porch where we spent a majority of our time. Julie the owner was most accommodating and responded to any questions we ever had and we shall definitely come back to stay here again -the week went by too fast!

Fantastic

I hate to leave a great review because I want to keep this a secret! Truly wonderful cabin. The hot tub is outstanding, the decks have plenty of room to find your nook and be alone and the screened-in porch is a favorite spot. Honestly, this place has it all. Very close to tons of things to do. The bed I slept in in the master was very comfortable and the sheets were smooth and crisp. Julie has every comfort covered. Outdoor fire pit, indoor wood stove, grill..... Every comfort. The large living area has many comfortable options for seating. I was really happy that the bedrooms heated separately from the main living area. I like to sleep cold but be cozy watching a movie. The warm, real wood paneling feels cozy and gives an Adirondack cabin vibe. We will definitely go again! Thanks, Julie for the wonderful stay!!

Great getaway near Lake Burton

We enjoyed our stay here during the Memorial Day weekend! The cabin was spacious, updated, and rustic all at the same time. The main bedroom was large with a cozy king bed. The second bedroom was like walking back in time. Lots of original wood and a very rustic ambiance. The kitchen is fully functional with all the utensils and, flatware, and cookware you would need to be able to enjoy meals onsite. We especially enjoyed playing a board game under the covered/screened patio space. This was, by far, our favorite feature of the rental. The screened patio boast vaulted ceilings and a tv for late night movies, or games on the large table. It’s the perfect space to unwind and enjoy all the nature sounds around the property. It’s close to downtown Clayton where we wandered the downtown area and enjoyed the local brewery. It’s also just a short drive from Hiawassee and Lake Chatuge. We will definitely come back! Can’t get enough of this awesome property!

We live in Athens, GA, and have long enjoyed spending time in the North Georgia mountains. Before we bought the cabin, we frequently would drive up just for the day to enjoy the countless hikes and waterfalls in the area, not to mention the beautiful lakes of Burton, Seed, and Rabun.

The cabin is uniquely situated just across Hwy 76 from Anchorage Marina on beautiful Lake Burton, where you can enjoy a sweet treat from the cute gift shop, as well as take advantage of renting kayaks, paddleboats, speed and pontoon boats, jet skis and tubes from the full service marina. Also just a 1/2 mile down Charlie Mountain Road is the public beach of Lake Burton.
Only 6 miles away is downtown Clayton, with an abundance of cute shops and restaurants. Clayton has become a real destination over the last few years, and is the perfect place from which to enjoy the mountains of North Georgia. Close to Black Rock Mountain State Park, Talullah Gorge, the Chattooga River, Dillard, and Sky Valley, Georgia.

Secluded street that backs up to National Forest and waterfall. Traffic from Hwy 76 can be heard but is never really "busy" as you would find in a city. Has been lovingly updated over last few years to include screen room and deck, HVAC, washer/dryer, and dishwasher. Space for 2 cars to park easily.
