The Space:
This 5-bedroom house is tucked away in a chill, family-friendly spot in West Beach, Gulf Shores. It’s the best of both worlds—close to great restaurants and activities but far from the hustle and bustle. Our cozy cul-de-sac on Little Lagoon has just 11 homes, a pool, and a fishing pier. Go fishing, crabbing, or tie up your small boat or jet ski. Got a bigger boat? Launch it nearby and dock it at our covered pier, perfect for sunsets and spotting wildlife.

With over 3,000 square feet across three floors, there’s room for everyone to spread out. The house is equipped with big flat-screen TVs (note: TVs are streaming only, no cable), free Wi-Fi, a PlayStation 4 in the family suite, and a kitchen stocked with everything you need to whip up meals. Fire up the charcoal grill for a backyard BBQ and make the most of your stay.

Big Bama has five bedrooms and sleeps up to 14 guests. Two dreamy Primary Suites—one on the main floor and one upstairs—each have a king bed, private bath, deck, and TV. The main floor suite even features a spa-like bathroom with an oversized shower, a freestanding tub, and gorgeous tile work.

Upstairs, there’s another Primary Suite with a king bed and private bath, a family suite with a king bed and two twin beds, and a spacious bedroom with a king bed. The third floor is a fun crow’s nest with two twin beds—perfect for teens or kids looking for their own hangout space.

Whether you’re lounging by the pool, casting a line off the pier, or catching a sunset from the covered dock, Big Bama Beach House is all about relaxing, unwinding, and making memories. It’s everything you need for an unforgettable family vacation—just pack your flip-flops and good vibes!

Perfect house in the perfect spot

We were in town for the softball word series. We stayed with a few other families. There is plenty of room, the house was clean and perfect for multiple families. It’s in a perfect spot with a shared pool and spot to fish in the lagoon. Just far enough away from the main road but not too far for restaurants and stores. We hope to come back and stay here next year.

Great family vacation

Great house! Lots of room to spread out and very comfortable. We had multiple families staying over the Thanksgiving weekend and had everything we needed. It's just a short walk to the beach and close to all the restaurants and shops. Perfect location.

A little bit of everything

The location is 2 blocks from the beach and there is a community pool just a short walk away. The house was great for 4 different families and the kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Home

Beautiful house! Very roomy and comfortable. Loved sitting on the upper deck drinking our coffee in the mornings. A short walk to the beach, will equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. What more could you ask for?

5 Star Stay

We enjoyed our stay at the beach house so much. Great location, very clean and family-friendly. We would definitely rent again if going to Gulf Shores. Here's a list of some of the places we visited that we enjoyed. The Hangout, not great food, but very entertaining for the kids. Lulu's was a lot of fun for the kids, they loved the arcade. Adventure Island was a blast, highly recommended.

Beautiful home!

We had a wonderful time in Gulf Shores. The house is beautiful and well maintained. The walk to the beach isn’t bad at all. The guys would drive to drop off the beach chairs and umbrellas but the rest of us would walk! Great trip!

Our kids and grandkids stayed here. The house is very well stocked. Furniture is very comfortable. We had an engagement at the pier at sunset!! Everything was perfect!

Great Family Property

Our recent stay at the Big Bama house was perfect! The house has recently had major upgrades, which really make the experience nice! The owners are readily available and responsive. We were able to text with very quick response to any little question we had. We would highly recommend thsi property!

Great Place, Great Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. A great location on a quiet street and very easy access to the beach. The pool and pier that were in the neighborhood were great for the kids and within just a few feet of the house. Would definitely book again. Some simple toiletries and kitchen necessities will need to be purchased. It would be nice to know going into the trip some of the things that we would need to provide but overall a great week in Gulf Shores!

Big Bama

We loved spending a week at the Big Bama house. We had ten people with us - 3 young children and 7 adults. We had plenty of space to gather as a family and to spread out for time apart. The location to the beach was perfect. It was a short walk along a quiet side street to direct public beach access. It was also close to some walking paths to enjoy. We loved our stay at the Big Bama and would definitely come back to stay in Gulf Shores!

Fun family vacation!

The house was nice, very comfortable beds and a great location. It was close to the beach and a very short walk to the pool. We loved the fishing pier. One thing we would suggest is a few umbrellas at the pool. There is little to no shade most of the day.Also, a table on the deck of the house out the front would be nice, or at least a few small tables in between the chairs. We enjoyed our week there.

Delightful Stay away from home

This property is wonderful! I really enjoyed the spacious bedrooms and well stocked kitchen and all of the necessary utensils to cook with. The outdoor living area was a nice set for entertainment but did not get to enjoy it as much, but we did get to enjoy the balcony off the main living area! The property is also located in a great spot for access to the beach. I hope to stay again in the near feature, book this property you will not be disappointed; at me and my family was not 🤗

Vacation with friends

The property is beautiful! The beach was closer than we thought. We go on a beach trip every year with a group of friends, this year we had a grand baby with us. You have this scenic view from a neighborhood pier, the men folks stayed over there fishing while the girls went to beach. Not crowded at the beach at all. We met lots of very nice neighbors. We will stay here again! We loved it!

Perfect Beach Getaway

We loved this home! The decorations were beautiful and beachy! It was well stocked with everything that was needed and super clean. We fished every night off the pier and caught blue crabs in our crab trap. The beach was close by and there was also public parking for the beach right down the street. We loved the Big Bama Beach House

Awesome house! The kitchen was great. Was fully stocked with everything you could ever want. Probably the best stocked kitchen of any rental we’ve ever stayed in. It has a Keurig that has both a pot and k cup option, tons of containers for storing leftovers, plenty of mixing bowls, pots, pans etc. All of the bedrooms were a great size, plenty of bathrooms, too. We had a large crew and everyone was very comfortable. They even had a beach wagon we could use for travel to the beach. Would for sure stay here again.
