Spring Brake 25

Third time staying at this property. It is the perfect location for us. Walking distance to all that waikiki has to offer. Included parking is a huge bonus. We definitely will be staying there again.

Great place for the price

Clean, white sheets & blanket (important to me). Mattress & pillows were super comfortable. Location was literally 6min walk to Waikiki beach. There was an umbrella and a beach chair which was very helpful. We walked to Diamond Head 45min walk, hiked all the way up for 45min, another 45min to walk down and ubered back for 15 total

Clean & Comfortable

Overall, the property was very good. The best thing I could say is that I would happily stay in this unit again. For Honolulu, the parking garage was very usable, location was very good, street access with your car very convenient and beach access just a few minutes walk.

Perfect for my family

Perfect location just a block away from the beach. Room was perfect for my family and had everything we needed. Really enjoyed having a parking spot.

nice condo in Waikiki

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was clean and had all the amenities promised. It was nice to have a "welcome Package" with coffee pack, toilet paper, dish soap, laundry soap pods, paper towels, salt and pepper. the shower had good water pressure. The toilet is lower so if you have bad knees it could be difficult getting off of it. The beds were very comfortable. The one bed was very close to the closet making it hard to access the closet. There was a small dresser in the closet that we did not use because it was difficult to get into. There were two beach chairs and umbrella available for beach use, four beach towels and linen for for people. The lotions and shampoos travel size smelled great. The furnature was all comfortable. The parking garage has low clearance so be mindful of that if renting a vehicle. My biggest complaint is waiting for the elevators. There were several times where I was waiting 10min to get on the elevator because every time it would stop it was already full of people. They are currently doing some renovations so that may get better when they are done. The Banyan is only a short walk from Waikiki beach, Honolulu zoo, and many shopping and dinning options. The manager of the property was nice. He was available when I had any questions and responded quickly to my messages.

A great stay

Overall the place was just as described, with a great location and comfortable lodgings. The checkin process was a little confusing, with instructions given to call when arriving at the airport, but the line never picked up. Besides that checking in was simple, the parking was very helpful and the stay was very enjoyable

Our First Hawaiian Family Trip

Property, condo and parking were overall great! The condo management team was great at giving us directions, instructions and following up on questions about the condo. Unit served it's purpose without any important issues and we liked that it was closed to the beach and other businesses after a short walk. It could use some upgrading with the sofa bed, but that's pretty much it. Beds were comfortable and A/C unit worked great! We definitely would recommend!

Comfortable and convenient

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was pretty close to what it was advertised for. The space is clean and the queen beds were comfortable. There was enough utensils, dinnerware, cups, mugs, pots and pans in the kitchen. The bathroom could have used a bit of updating. The room location is nice and close to the elevators, which is a plus. The elevators themselves on the other hand, was very slow and normally very full and you would either have to squeeze into an already crowded elevator, wait for a few more to come through or use the stairs. We recommend this unit for people with families, we have 2 kids ages 9 & 12 and there was enough space for us all. It also overlooks the courtyard so I can still monitor my kids from within the unit while they are playing on the playground.

Waikiki August 2024

My friends and I stayed in August 2024 and had a great time! The property was true to the listing and it was in a good location. Communication with the property manager was very clear and efficient. If you're parking on the premises, be aware that you can park on the 5th floor but there isn't any guaranteed Tower Two entrance, as I think the door is closed after a certain time so you'll have to walk down to the 4th floor. We were 2 blocks away from the beach, and an ABC Store a block away. We were in good walking distance from a lot of good eating places (highly recommend Maguro Spot and the Musubi Cafe!!) and shopping areas. We were very happy with our stay and will be back!

Excellent Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay. The condo with it's two queen sized beds was perfect for our family of four so no one needed to sleep on the sofa bed. The walk to the beach was also really short. Except for some waits for an elevator, we had a very pleasant stay. Luckiest, the condo is on a lower floor so sometimes we parked on the 5th deck and used the stairs to go to and from the garage.

Great but bruises

We had a wonderful time, only 2 issues. 1. Footboard on beds, we have bruises on our legs from running into the corners. 2. Dryer down the hall does not dry clothes after $7.50 still damp. But other then those 2 things it was great.

The room was very nice. Comfortable, well stocked and quite enjoyable. One minor negative which has nothing to do with the room, but the resort in general. Pool rules are way too restrictive. No floaters, or balls, no jumping in the pool. It’s a pool.

Excellent Hawaii vacation rental with great location

Our family stayed here for one week and we very much enjoyed our stay thanks to the convenient location with only a one block walk to the beach. We also had a rental car to explore the rest of the island and the included parking spot was a great value. The condo until had plenty of space for our family and the staff at Captain Cook was very responsive to answering any questions we had. I give this place an A+ and would definitely stay here again.

Good place....not great

We enjoyed most things here. Cons: The elevators were having plenty of issues. Upon arrival they were shut down for 1/2 hr, all of them. Then regularly we eould need to wsit 5-10 minutes to get one to travel. The complex is for sure aging. The owners do some updating and some of the perks are greatly appreciated. The sliding door to bedroom allows a lot of sound and light through. The curtains need to fit better and be more room darkening. With 2 beds, one blocks the bsthroom door, preventing proper open/close. Pros: Good decorating, plentiful kitchen and utensils, nice starter set of toiletries, nice sponge and dish soap. Location is pretty good. Parking garage is very good with awesome attendants. Nice little pocket convenience store inside building. Good communication from Capt Cook and from site manager. Overall, great experience andwe would stay again.

Perfect Spot!

My husband, a friend, and I stayed at the property for a few nights during the HURT100 race and it was perfect for the 3 of us. 2 beds, a pullout couch, kitchen, and 1 bathroom. The laundry and trash shoot were just down the hall. Plenty of parking in the garage (just a little tight) and nicely located with walking distance to plenty of restaurants and shops. We used the pool and sauna too. There is a whole grilling area with tables but we didn't have a chance to use those. Management was very responsive with any questions. No frills but overall it was the perfect spot for our stay and had everything we could've needed. We'd happily stay again in the future!
