100 m2 lägenhet har stort historiskt värde eftersom det är listad av UNESCO som konstnärliga arvet i katalanska gotiska av s. XV, och var egendom berömda författaren Miguel de Cervantes i en av stadens sightseeing.

Det är helt renoverat och omvandlas till en lysande duplex bevarar gamla stenmurar och valv som ger utrymme en speciell charm.

Längst ner är ett dubbelrum med eget badrum, ett handfat med bubbelbad, fullt utrustat kök (kyl, frys, ugn, mikrovågsugn, vattenkokare, diskmaskin ...) och matsal. Wow, what a great place

We (2 adults, 2 kids) had an amazing time in this rental. The apartment is as described: a great blend of old and new. The ancient walls combined with modern comforts like air conditioning. And the location was perfect: in the midst of the Gothic Quarter, the neighborhood is beautiful and you’re surrounded by things to do. The hosts were great and helpful too. Highly Recommend!

Birthday Trip

We spent three nights with our family of 5 (kids 8-4) and absolutely loved this place. The design and architecture of the apartment was captivating and a great location. The host was flexible with our late timing due to the train delay and provided a good list of restaurants as well as a history of the spot. Great walking distance to local spots and Publix transportation. Our family loved staying here and would return.

Perfect Location, Excellent Hosts

We were pleasantly surprised to find there are actually 2 bathrooms when the listing said 1. Alex met us upon arrival and gave us a great walk through, showed us how to use everything, and gave us restaurant recommendations that he knew would be open since we arrived later in the evening. We loved the architecture and had the perfect location. Two issues out of his control were promptly addressed and he even left us a nice bottle of wine. We would definitely stay here again!

5 nights in Barcelona

Very nice property in beautiful old building with lots of room for 4 guests. Easy to find, love the princess balcony, and the elevator is nice for luggage. Host was extremely accommodating of early check-in and late check-out. With a few amenities (dish soap, shampoo, etc.), a host instruction book with some recommendations, and a second set of keys it would even better! We didn't use any kitchen appliances so can't comment on that but concur with others that beds are firm, unit can be loud from pedestrian traffic, and loft bedroom has limited privacy and airflow. Location is great for walking and restaurants - overall a great stay.

Spectacular apartment in a great location

Beautifully styled and spacious apartment in a 15th C building located close to the port and in the oldest part of Barcelona. Many good restaurants and shops nearby. Owner was very accommodating. We hated to leave such a lovely home away from home.

Start to an Amazing Trip

Alex met us for check in and even helped with our luggage. Apartment is well laid out and very clean. Location can not be beat. We loved the unit. Able to get taxi right out in front. Eat below, or around the corner. Quiet too. Loved, loved, loved it. We will be back. Thank you for having such an amazing unit.

Great Location

Great location! There were several restaurants/cafe within easy walking distance (there’s one right below the front balcony). Being in Barrio Gothic, there were several grocery and convenience stores, bakeries and coffee shops all within easy walking distance, and when we needed a taxi, I don’t think we had to wait over one minute for one to driving by. Our host Alex met us at the front of building and took us to the unit. He walked us through to familiarize us with unit (how to operate the TV, washer/dryer, stove, etc). He also gave us a history of the building (UNESCO site). The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything that we needed and it was nice to be able to lounge in the living room after a day of site seeing in Barcelona. Both of our host Rebeca (pre-check in) and Alex were always responsive to our request. We highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again!

Great location! Love the history of the building. Close to public transportation and the beach. Hosts were very responsive. The gothic quarter was an amazing place to wonder through all day and night!

Fabulous!

The place is so beautiful, comfortable and historic. The location is wonderful. It had every amenity you needed with amazing shower pressure! Check in was easy and personal - really enjoyed meeting a local who took us through the place and welcomed us to Barcelona with a smile. Pizza Pazza is super close with delicious food. There are a couple delicious breakfast spots The Benedict and Milk. Everything is a fun walk to arrive from the place. The beach was a quick 10 minute leisurely walk. The Placa Reial was 5 minutes walking.

Gorgeous historical apartment

Location was great. Beautiful interior with plenty ofspace for a family of 4. Our host Alex communicatef well. Also, location close to the beach, Picasso museum just on the edge of the Gothic quarters. Would stay there again!

Excellent choice

Beautiful property in an ideal location for exploring the old city. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. The apartment is up just one floor and there is a elevator for moving luggage which we appreciated. Lots of good cafes and restaurants nearby. You can walk to most of the sights people visit.

Unique Rental

We spent 3 nights in this unique and charming apartment. Communication with the host, Rebeca, was very good, Check in was easy. Alex met us at the apartment and showed us the features of the apartment. He made sure that we had basic supplies (coffee, soap, water). The location is great for sites in the Gothic Quarter. There is a lot of activity by the apartment but, for the most part, the apartment was quiet. To get to Sagrada Familia and sites outside of the Gothic Quarter we had to take a cab. Hailing a cab was not a problem. It was fun staying in this apartment. It was great for our short stay in Barcelona.
