Denna fantastiska lägenhet ligger i den vackra El Born av Barcelonas historiska centrum kallas Ciutat Vella.

Det är på tröskeln till Chokladmuseet, Stadsparken och den magnifika Picasso-museet. Det är en 5-minuters promenad från den vackra palmkantade småbåtshamnen och katedralen, en 10 minuters promenad från Las Ramblas, och bara 15 minuters promenad från stränderna som ledde till Barcelona att krönas Nº1 Beach staden i världen 2013-2014 av National Geographic Magazine.

Lägenheten har en golvyta på 90m2 och ger verklig hem från hem komfort och all lyx att göra semestern extra med hög hastighet fiberoptiska internet på 100Mbps, anka duntäcken på vintern, en Nespresso-maskin och ett hemmabiosystem.

Det är rymligt med öppen planlösning områden i vardagsrum och kök / matsal. Det har högt välvda tak med synliga takbjälkar och franska fönster som leder ut på små smidesjärn balkonger.

Den har en telefon, en dockningsstation för iPod, en bardisk, en etage badrum med glasvägg partitioner och en separat duschkabin. Den har även en hemlig dörr!

Amazing property and location!

Kay, Christine and Sarah were all amazing to communicate with. Everything was super easy from a late check-in to check out. The location was amazing with the majority of everything within walking distance including Barceloneta Beach. Some of the best restaurants in Barcelona are with a 5-15 minute walk from the property. We would absolutely stay here again. Kay and Christine, thank you for sharing your home with us!

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Born

We had a lovely stay at Kay’s apartment. Check in was great. Both Kay and Sarah communicated well throughout our stay. We loved the neighborhood and walkability of the area. The apartment was accurate from the listing, clean, and comfortable. There were some issues with the security alarm and smoke detectors going off unexpectedly, which Kay and Sarah addressed promptly and professionally. Overall, I’d recommend this place to other small families of 3 to 4 people when visiting Barcelona.

El Born is such a great area of Barcelona to stay in, and the apartment was in the perfect location. It was very nice, and the hosts very so helpful and welcoming. I would highly recommend the place for anyone visiting Barcelona!

Amazing apartment

This apartment was in an amazing location in the El Born area. It’s in a pedestrian area so very quiet. We loved being able to walk right out of the apartment to all the shops and restaurants. The owner was so wonderful with all my questions and helped with connecting me with her hairdresser before our son’s wedding. We would definitely stay here again!

3-day stay in Barcelona

The apartment was very clean, awesome location in El Born. Very close to restaurants, gothic quarter, and public transportation. We truly enjoyed our stay there. Will be back any time. The check in process was smooth and easy. We can only recommend!!!

Home away from home

It was a very relaxing stay home away from home. The location was very convenient. We found a very nice little coffee just around the corner for our start of the day, it even opened at 7:30 am, what was awesome since we still had a jet lag. Our welcome was very nice. We got everything what we needed to know for our stay explained.

First time to Barcelona

Great location in El Born on a quieter street. Very comfortable for a couple or a family. Lots of very thoughtful touches for a home away from home feel. Walking distance to many of the big attractions or stay close and discover the many shops, restaurants and museums right in the El Born! Kay and her staff were very helpful and communicative. We would definitely return!

Barcelona Back In Time

Truly a nice place to stay in the old Gothic District. The apartment was very clean & comfortable. So central to many venues we wished to visit. Lots of nice restaurants and coffee houses. Would return again without hesitation.

Stay in El Born

The apartment works very well as a staging point to explore Barcelona. Everything is walkable and the transit is close. With two teenagers, we had plenty of space and the information from the host is excellent. From checkin to instructions for appliances, everything was easy.

Weeklong stay

Kay’s property was exactly as described and shown in photos. It has a great location as it is in the middle of lively El Born while also on a quiet street. The waterfront is easily accessible, we were there for The Americas Cup. Loved having laundry machine, air conditioning along with extra fans and the extra bed for our daughters visit! I would stay again if ever in Barcelona. Thanks Kay.

Amazing stay!

Kays flat was a great spot for all our adventures in Barcelona! The Born area is by far our favorite place after exploring the city-so many fun restaurants nearby and the beach is a short walk. We had plenty of space in the flat, it was clean and well stocked and we felt very safe. There are some steps up to the flat, (only 24) so if you have mobility issues keep that in mind. Hoffmans bakery was a daily stop for sweets! Beds are comfortable the bathroom was roomy and spotless. We would stay again when in Barcelona!

Hello there! The first thing I should probably tell you is that I came to Spain on holiday for 2 weeks and stayed! I guess the sun, the cuisine, the culture and outdoor lifestyle all had something to do with it. The fact is I’ve never stopped enjoying the things I love here. After some time I moved from Valencia to Barcelona and have worked throughout that time as a teacher and translator as well as a property manager now too of course! My life is busy and diverse and also involves making regular trips back to Scotland, where I was born. I feel really lucky to live in such beautiful places - I love the contrast between the two. Nevertheless, be warned! If my own experience is anything to go by and you do decide to come here on holiday, you may end up staying a bit longer than you bargained for!!

Varför värden valde detta boende

Quite simply – it was love at first sight. The Born area of the city centre is utterly magical and this was the first and last apartment I looked at. I often walk through the gorgeous winding streets and alleyways surrounding the apartment with their myriad boutiques and terrace cafés bathed in sunlight before heading back to the apartment and sitting in the peace and quiet of the living room, soaking up the beauty of it all and thinking - yes - this is the essence of the place I love. The Born has become even more charming and beautiful since I bought the apartment in 2003 and if I could come back to Barcelona now and see it all again as if it were the first time, it’s still this apartment in this part of town I would hope to find.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Firstly I would say it's the location. It’s right in the middle of the most historic, beautiful and happening area of the city with the benefit of being nestled in a quiet pedestrian-only side street, which is just a 15 minute walk from the beach. The apartment itself has the perfect contrast, so distinctive to Barcelona, of seamlessly blending old and new; design without compromising on comfort. Having the award-winning Hoffman bakery (best croissants I have ever tasted) just around the corner may also have something to do with it though! Or it might be the proximity to Cal Pep (delicious seafood) or Bar Pla (delicious everything)! Most likely though it's a combination of all of these things and coming in through the front door after a day out, sitting down, kicking my shoes off and relishing that wonderful sensation of feeling totally at home in a foreign land.
