The property was as advertised. Linda and Ken had great communication and made sure that we had everything we needed. We rented the pontoon boat for a day and Ken had it waiting at the dock for us the morning of our rental. Little Spider Lake is a nice quiet place to relax for a few days or a week. The property is very convenient to Woodruff and Minocqua for restaurants and shopping. The property is great for family getaways like ours and it was great that it was pet friendly as well.

We had a great stay at Jim’s Hideaway. Close access to snowmobile trails. Nice cottage, plenty of room for six people. Hope to visit again.

Really enjoyed meeting the owner, Ken, who was friendly and polite! His dog was friendly too!The place is great with lots of rooms and plenty of space for a large group. Easy access to snowmobile trails and places to “warm” up!

Great family cabin!

Great cabin for families! The home had everything we needed, even baby gates! Beautiful property with a beautiful view. The property manager is incredibly friendly and communicative. We had a great time, made great memories, and we can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful stay!

Ken and Linda were very responsive to questions. Group of 7 ladies there to xc ski at Winter Park. Loved the sauna!! Large house with plenty of room for our group.

Great house and beach!

We very much enjoyed our stay - the house was clean, had great access to the water, an awesome beach, the water was about the clearest I've seen. There were very close neighbors which was not a problem, we just prefer being more remote. The proximity to Minocqua couldn't be beat though!

Perfect location for snowmobile vacation

Big house sleeps 8 adults & 6 kids comfortably. Clean with all your household needs. Huge dinner table to eat meals and play games together. Cozy gas fireplace & spectacular view of lake.

We had an awesome winter New Years at Jim's Hideaway! Spacious cabin, well equipped, beautiful lake and woods! We had 2 families with 4 adults and 6 youths. All had beds and were comfortable. Hope to come back someday!

wonderful long weekend with family

Jim’s Hideaway is very well appointed and welcoming to large groups/families. The kitchen has everything you’ll need for ann extended stay and some things you’ll probably realize you didn’t! The property is very spacious and beds very comfortable. We truly appreciated being able to bring our dogs along and allow them to enjoy vacation with us. We were hoping to snowmobile during our stay, but Mother Nature had different plans this winter 🙄 Close to many restaurants and even better supper clubs!
