Great Stay

Memorial Weekend

What an awesome family getaway! The house is beautiful! We had 7 adults and 7 children, ages 1.5 to 15. The teens loved playing the games in the basement. The little ones played in the sunroom while we visited in the kitchen and sunroom or they watched some tv in the beautiful living room. It was convenient to keep an eye on them. Plenty of room to spread out for a nap, to play games, or read a book. We used the fire pit at night to make smores and at lunch to grill hotdogs. The yard was perfect and we loved watching the horses next door. The teen girls loved having their own bedroom. Bathrooms were plenty. The host was fantastic. She kept in touch and was so kind. We had a fantastic time together and want to come back. Thank you!

Amazing VRBO for family-friendly vacation!

This is an amazing VRBO - our family had a wonderful stay! Absolutely beautiful home! We gathered with our kids and grandkids for a mini vacation - there were 8 adults and 4 kids (under 4), and there was plenty of room for all of us. The basement with the huge theater, along with all the various games (ping pong, pool, fooz ball, air hockey) were a big hit with kids and adults! We enjoyed using the outdoor grill and large deck, along with the fire pit for s'mores! I highly recommend this VRBO and would love to come back again in the future. Thank you!!

Central location family get-together

House was very spacious for all family needs. Everyone enjoyed the features. The outside house maintenance and landscaping were very poorly maintained. Most lawn furniture cushions were moldy and the grill was grease laden.

Reunion with friends and kids

Perfect spot for group of 8 adults and our 8 kids with ages ranging from 3-9 y/o to catch back up for a relaxing weekend. The very unique and massive home easily accommodated our group. We luckily had perfect weather and spent most of our days outside in the large yard and patio area but this house would have been much more than we needed if the weather was not as favorable. Host was very accommodating and communication was great throughout the process. This group getaway was once an every year occurrence but became less convenient with young children and this was our first trip together in 9 years. There are already talks of adding this home to our short list of places for next year. Would definitely recommend to anyone in any situation. Great trip!

Girls cycling trip

Our group takes a trip together every spring. This year’s destination was Holmes County which led us to this VRBO listing. The house was huge and we had more than enough bedrooms and space for the 8 of us. Our hosts greeted us and were extremely responsive on the few occasions that we needed something done. When we arrived on Sunday they let us know that they had just become aware of a problem with the internet. 1st thing Monday morning someone came out to fix the problem. Since we are not Amish we really appreciated that. I would definitely return to the area and to the house.

Perfect for family gathering!

We stayed at this property for my daughter's graduation from the College of Wooster. The house was [perfect for all of the family we had coming and going. The setting was idyllic, and the house had everything we needed for everyone! The teens enjoyed playing pool and ping-pong and the adults enjoyed the many decks. The owners were incredibly responsive. Thank you for the perfect weekend!

A beautiful place for all ages!

Everyone loved our family weekend in Holmes County. The house is lovely and spacious to accommodate our family of 20. There was something for everyone— the youth enjoyed ping pong, fooseball and pool, as well as card games. The big screen was perfect to take in the big game. The women got along great in the huge kitchen. The younger girls enjoyed sleeping in the bunk room together. Our family fit perfectly and our belated Christmas gathering will always be remembered with fondness! Thank you for such a wonderful home to relax and make memories.

We all went there for rest and enjoy our time together with family.

We had a lot of wasps inside property and that was very scary. There was a lot of the wasp downstairs and some upstairs where my nephew and baby slept. They came out to spray but there were still wasp flying around. Also, we had planned movie nights because of the big movie room but most of us were scared of the wasps so that did not go well. There was a jacuzzi in one of the rooms that did not work we were not told about that then there was a mouse in the house.

Family reunion in Amish Country

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The house was large, comfortable and beautiful. The location was fantastic, with the sound of horses going by in the road, pulling buggies. The owners were very friendly and responsive. We would highly recommend it.
