The Welcome Lodge- Ideal for Large Gatherings

The Welcome Lodge is located on a beautiful, gated property. When booking the lodge you can enjoy seclusion while being surrounded by rolling hills and nature. Guests have access to over an acre of land to play outdoor games and to enjoy the fire ring. Gather with friends or family to experience the lodge and our local area.

The Lodge:
Outdoor space is plentiful at the lodge. In addition to the large porch with dining seating and swing, each room and apartment has access to a deck with seating.

2 Full Apartments: The apartments are accessed by a separate entrance, and convenient to the rest of the lodge. Apartment One features 1 queen room, a double twin room, full bathroom, living room and kitchen. Apartment Two features 1 queen room, a double room, full bathroom, living room and kitchen.
Suite A: 2 Twin Beds, Ensuite Full Bathroom
Suite B: 1 King Bed, Ensuite Full Bathroom
Suite C: 1 Queen Bed, 1 Twin Bunk, Twin Pullout Couch, Ensuite Full Bathroom
Suite D: 1 King Bed, Twin Pullout Couch, Ensuite Full Bathroom
A Twin Rollaway Bed is also available upon request.

Gathering Room: On the lower level of the lodge you will find a large gathering space to come together as a group. With a full kitchen and an 8 seat oversized bar, you will have plenty of room cook and eat together. The space also contains two large dining tables with cushioned chairs, couch seating, and a children’s play nook. Guests love the FuBball table. (The fireplace is usable only during a host catered event)

This is a great family-friendly accommodation. The countryside is beautiful and private but still easy to find. The lodge is very well laid out providing plenty of privacy within. The decor is up to date and inviting. My family wants to return and stay here every time we plan a reunion.

Youth Group Trip

We stayed two nights and enjoyed volleyball, the sunrises and beautiful views. The kitchen had plenty pots and pans as we cooked for our group. It was nice having separate spaces for the guys and girls. We anll met in the kitchen for our Bible studies. Everything was so clean. We will definitely be back.

I have traveled and stayed at many different places over the years. This may just be our very favorite. The Welcome Lodge is spectacular is every sense of the word—- Stacey & Aaron have left no detail unattended to! We not only enjoyed our stay at their property but felt that we acquired 5 newest family members. We look forward to working with them in the future. Thank you so much!!! Jan.

An exceptionally beautiful property inside with extensive wood moldings, a beautiful fireplace, and comfortable bedrooms AS DESCRIBED. The grounds are beautiful as well, and we enjoyed seeing deer, ground hogs, and a wide variety of birds: Indigo Bunting, Red-headed Wordpecker, Baltimore Oriole, Yellow-billed Cuckoo, and Cedar Waxwing, among others,The host was very responsive and prepared amazing breakfasts for an incremental fee.

It’s the 3rd year we bring a large group from our church and we always have a great time. The property and the amenities are perfect to enjoy the outdoor as well as the indoor. The only thing I would say is that the fridge and counter space are limited so it can be a little bit harder to cook for a large group. The hosts have been very accommodating and made sure we had a great time in the house. Everything was very clean. The location is very nice. You are 30 minutes from Berlin or the Mohican state park. Our youth are looking forward to go back next year!

This was an extended family vacation and our expectations were more than met. The Welcome Lodge is truly welcoming -from the private, gated entry to the beautiful large property for outdoor games, the ample rooms slept us all very comfortably and the ensuites to the rooms were super clean with all the towels, linens provided. Access to a laundry was appreciated, especially having small children. There are 2 Apts, with a separate entrance and parking, which was nice for small families with early rising kids - we didn't hear them at all. Or for Seniors who prefer less steps. We hadn't planned to use the large kitchen like we did, but it was perfect for our group, with everything you could possibly need. Outdoor tables under the wide porch provided ample seating for BBQs or game nights. We had a little rain shower and could still be outdoors - it's a beautifully maintained property overlooking a pond ( not accessible ). The kids had fun chasing fireflies at dusk and enough wood is provided to get the campfire going.Everyone enjoyed their stay, would've stayed longer and are begging to go back. I wish we'd have booked a whole week. Holmes County attractions are a short drive from here. The Welcome Lodge is truly welcoming and the hosts were available for any questions and were proactive with codes etc. We highly recommend staying here!
