Modernt, ljust och luftigt 3 sovrum ligger i bostadsområdet Santa Maria Maior, Gamla stan, Funchal. Inom 5 minuters gångavstånd till butiker och restauranger. Oavbruten havsutsikt synlig från de stora utomhusområdena som ligger på 2 nivåer - perfekt för att titta på delfinerna. Gott om privat utrymme för att koppla av på solstolar eller äta utomhus medan du tittar på kryssningsfartyg som passerar omedelbart framför fastigheten. Modern inredning uppdaterad för att ge stora luftiga öppna planområden och nu den extra komforten av luftkonditionering i alla sovrummen. Stor öppen planlösning med havsutsikt som leder till ett helt nytt fullt utrustat kök och tvättstuga. Vitvaror inkluderar böna till kopp kaffemaskin, diskmaskin, tvättmaskin, torktumlare, strykjärn, mikrovågsugn, kyl och frys och ugn. Loungen är utrustad med en LCD-TV, kabelkanaler, blue ray DVD och Wifi. Villa består av 3 rymliga sovrum alla med king size-sängar och med fulla sviter, varav en är ett vått rum. Solstolar, badlakan och parasoll finns. Dekoration är modern och bekväm med kvalitetssängar, morgonrockar och handdukar. En liten fristad perfekt beläget med lätt gångavstånd till affärer och restauranger eller det finns ett busshållplats precis utanför fastigheten. Resesäng, barnstol och potta kan ges och det finns också möjlighet att en enda sätta upp sängen för användning i antingen sovrummet eller sovrummet 3. Fastigheten nås via en uppsättning steg och är därför inte lämplig för dem som kräver rullstolar. Den 3: e sovrummet ligger på bottenvåningen och nås via en trappa som ligger utanför vardagsrummet. Sängkläder och handdukar byts varje vecka utan extra kostnad. Vi kan också ordna taxi transfer från flygplatsen med en tillförlitlig taxichaufför (betalas lokalt) och Mirela kan boka några sightseeingturer för dig. I cannot say enough great things about this rental. Our stay was fabulous from beginning to end. The house is stocked with EVERYTHING and more! It is walking distance to the old town, it has a garage for your rental car. It is beautiful inside and out. Our host met us when we arrived and were always available for any issues or questions we had. There was maid service after a week which was wonderful as well. Maderia is very special as well. A beautiful island to visit. We filled two weeks easily with hiking and site seeing.

Close to Old Town

This villa was incredible!! Super clean and so big. Three lovely bedrooms all with their own bathroom. A kitchen that was top of the line and then there is a laundry room with both a washer and dryer. Everything is modern and up to date. Outside is a very large patio with lounging chairs and table with a spectacular view of the ocean. A very short walk gets you into old town. One of the nicest vrbo places I have ever rented.

Fabulous property

This is a lovely house with amazing views a few minutes walk from the action. We loved the sun terrace and balcony. Better equipped than our own house. Super clean. Sad to be leaving and hope to return!

Gorgeous view and location

Karen’s place has everything you could want for a great holiday. View,location,well stocked home and parking(if you have a car). The place is incredibly well stocked and great walking distance into the city itself. It was so nice to sit on the deck in the evenings that we were home to watch the sky change with the setting sun

Beautiful property

Overlooking Funchal harbour, with a short walk from the heart of the city. A beautifully appointed, spacious property, with plenty of space for 6 adults. The only shortcoming was building works to properties on either side (which the owner could do nothing about), which were very intrusive with heavy drilling and loud music every day.

This is one of the best properties we have stayed in, it has everything you could possibly need, the garage is an added bonus. Location is great, there is a nice little restaurant about a 100 yards from the house convenient for breakfast and a short walk takes you into the old town. Will stay here again.

Amazing!

The villa and the service given by the owners surpassed our expectations. The photos don’t do it justice as it is even more stunning! Fantastic location and every possible thing you might need is supplied and all at a very high level of quality. We would thoroughly recommend this beautiful villa.

Holiday in Madeira

Excellent property. I could not believe the amount of ware glasses etc. It had absolutely everything. Mirela was so helpful. Great view from the property. We felt the pull up the hill but very soon found an alternate route. Would definitely recommend it to anybody who is thinking of going to Madeira. Weather was very warm when we were there so it was great to sit out in the shade.

The property was clean tidy and of a high spec, just what we were looking for.

we found the villa to be spacious and very comfortable. We particularly liked the Aircon and en suites in each bedroom, along with the balcony and terrace space which would be ample even if the villa had 6 people in it. The kitchen was also fully spec’d with a great coffee machine being the highlight for us. We spent most of our time outside so the comfortable outdoor seating was also much welcomed. The owners have clearly thought of everything well done to them!

Absolutely fabulous!!

Everything about this rental is fantastic. It is in a great location, it's a really terrific house, very responsive, owner, and wonderful housekeeper who was really helpful. We were walking distance from everything. We rented a car and we could keep it in the garage. We used in the car for excursions. Two different hiking locations and sights around the island. We had so much fun! Best rental ever!

The best self-catering villa ever.! Beautifully furnished, comfortable beds, extremely well stocked kitchen in all respects. Extremely generous welcome pack. Terrace and balconies galore with amazing views to watch the cruise ships. Will be back! Housekeeper Mirela and taxi driver Rafael made our lives even easier. so sorry to leave. Very good communication prior to holiday with owners.

Stay to Madeira

The accommodation was very clean and enough space for everyone. Stunning view from the big terrace, where you can sit and eat on a big table. We had everything we needed. The renter was achievable at anytime. We were ordered a taxi to and from the airport. Great service. The driver was on time. We were feeling so comfortable! Very very lovely renter!!! If we come back to Madeira, we would stay in this accommodation again!!

The location of the house is perfect. Within walking distance to cable cars, shops and the farmers market. The house is fantastic, with incredible ocean views to enjoy your meals or just sit with your morning coffee or a glass of wine. We locked ourselves out one day and the homeowner returned my email within 5 minutes. Mirela was there in 10 minutes. The house has everything you need to feel like home, and is incredibly clean. Our taxi driver, Rapheal, was so nice and friendly. We really enjoyed transport with him. We will definitely stay here again when we return. Thanks Karen, your place is definitely exceptional.

Excellent villa ,perfect location!

We stayed two weeks in this villa in the end of march and enjoyed our stay enormously.The location is perfect,in the old town near the restaurants but far enough to be quiet.The sun shines to the terrace all day long.The villa is very well kept and clean,the towels and sheets are good quality. Also the villa is very well equipped,everything you might need in the kitchen you will find. The housekeeper is very efficient and kind.Airport transfers with Rafael were smooth . We truly recommend this villa. Thank You Karen and Mike!

Excellent

The villa has everything you could possibly want including tea, coffee, laundry cleaners & softeners, dishwasher tablets and tissues. The list is endless. Beds and pillows were very comfortable and everything was spotless. Karen and Mirela were lovely and looked after us brilliantly & our taxi transfers with Rafael all went smoothly, despite having to change our plans a couple of times due to flight changes. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the villa.

Fantastic, wonderful, the best holidays

We had the best holidays ever! The villa was so luxury, so clean, so many beautiful details, equipped with everything. The housekeeper Mirela is the most gentle and friendly person, we ever met. She is doing her very best to serve you everything, that is possible. Just 5 minutes walk and you are in the old town with bars, restaurants directly at the seaside. We have nothing missed. The villa and Madeira are not cheap, but every cent is super investigated.

Brilliant villa, brilliant location !

Karen and Mike are great owners with really good communications and information. Finding the villa was easy and we were welcomed by Mirela who was very helpful throughout. The garage is perfect (plenty of room for even a large car), as parking is difficult given the villas close vicinity to the centre of Funchal. The villa is in a quite location with great sea views. It is very modern, clean and well equipped with comfy beds and inside/outside furniture. The location means that it is only a few minutes walk to the nearest cafe and many good restaurants, with the town centre a few minutes further. We would definitely return to this villa and would highly recommend it.

Our first visit to Madeira was for our Honeymoon 35+ years ago and we have been returning ever since. It was our visit at Christmas 2014 when we found the house and are extremely happy to share it with you. We live in the UK, have one Son and are both working professionals.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We have been travelling to Madeira for over 35 years and have taken great care to obtain a property which suits the high expectations of visitors to Madeira. We wanted a property where we could watch the cruise ships and fire works and had undisturbed views of the sea. These requirements limited our available search to the one road (Rue do Lazareto ) which we were rewarded with finally found a house on completing in June 2015.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

It was watching the cruise ships on New Years eve from the terrace which convinced us that this was the right property for us. We had been searching in this area for many years and the view sealed the deal ! We have just returned having spent 2 weeks watching the dolphins playing in the sea, a magical breakfast experience.
