Lägenheten ligger på 1: a våningen i en två våningar totalrenoverades i stadsdelen "Kalsa" i ädla hjärtat av staden Palermo, kulturella och konstnärliga centrum i Medelhavet staden av de kraftfulla kontraster mellan rikedom och adel marknader färgstarka och multietniskt, i en lugn miljö framför "Garden of the Righteous" historisk plats med gamla träd och doftande apelsinträd, ett stenkast från centralstationen, bussnavet och tåg och även nära de viktigaste monument och platser i staden som : museet Abatellis, Marina Square, Botaniska trädgården, Foro Italico, Teatro Massimo, katedralen, det normandiska palatset, färgstarka marknader Ballarò, Vucciria och Cape inom gångavstånd. Det finns också många restauranger i området, barer och pittoreska pubar på kvällen är fulla av liv för nöjet att djupdykning i nattlivet.

Great location in the old city

If you want an authentic Sicily Palermo experience, this is it. Lots of action and young people but the apartment is tucked in behind a little walled park and is very quiet. Brigitte was very welcoming and helpful and the apartment is well furnished.

The flat was lovely and equipped with everything we needed. The location was within walking distance of the things we wanted to see. Restaurants and grocery stores were all nearby.

Wonderful Apartment

We stayed 5 nights at the apartment in Palermo. It was one of the best properties we have ever stayed. The "old town" location was perfect for walking to restaurants and all the sights of Palermo. The apartment had all the necessities you could ask for...clean, full kitchen, comfortable bed, large bathroom, a balcony, and air conditioning...exceptional in every way! Bridgette was an amazing host! To greet us she had provided us with coffee, snacks, a bottle of wine. She secured a cab for our departure. Her kindness relieved our stress and jet lag! Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful apartment in beautiful city

I cannot begin to relay how pleased we were with our accommodations in Palermo. The location is perfect with manageable walks to all we wanted to see. A wonderful setting on a quiet street steps from all the action. The unit itself was excellent. Clean, spacious and easily accessible. You will not be disappointed!

Everything worked like clock work to book the appartment, check in and settle in. Brigitte had provided everything we needed plus little extras to make us comfortable. The location is great - close to transport and to all points of interest.

Wonderful Location! Everything You Need!

Brigette made our stay in Palermo very enjoyable. She was always quick to communicate and helpful with questions and arranging a taxi. Her apartment is clean, comfortable and spacious. You will have everything you need for a wonderful stay. The balcony is a bonus! We enjoyed coffee in the morning and wine in the afternoon. We highly recommend this delightful apartment.

Perfect apartment in perfect location

We stayed here at the end of a three week Sicilian vacation. It was the perfect respite. The apt. was immaculate and the owner was very responsive to our needs. The woman, Maria, who let us in and showed us around because the owner was out of town spoke only Italian, but it it wasn’t too difficult to figure it all out. Plus, there was a very complete binder of maps, rules, phone numbers, etc. All in all, a great location with a great restaurant 50’ away on the vicolo.

The BEST apartment in Palermo!

Palermo is a busy and not particularly peaceful vacation spot but Brigitte's apartment is quiet and comfortable with lovely garden views- a breath of fresh air after a day exploring interesting sights. It was spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, well furnished in every regard and had the best restaurant in town right across the street. Brigitte was helpful to us in every way and communication was fast and responsive. We highly recommend this lovely apartment!

Just a peach!

Everything about this property is so well thought out. It’s impeccable and the owner is wonderful. Many mishaps on our check-in day had us arrive later than expected. In spite of this she patiently awaited our arrival and greeted us as though nothing was a problem. She dropped our stress level immediately with her kindness. The flat is well appointed with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We feel very fortunate to have found this accommodation.

Loved this apartment

The apartment was wonderful and spacious. It had everything you needed. We did not use the kitchen but it appeared to be well equipped. The bathroom had so much room that both my husband and I could use it at the same time which is a plus when you are vacationing. The balcony overlooked an open air place where musicians would play in the evening. We had a glass of wine and enjoyed the evening entertainment. The location was fairly close to the Quarttro Canti and several restaurants and attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic place and location

What a way to end up three weeks in Italy! The residence was awesome and comfortable. Great interaction with the host; she always responded right away. She took us through the apartment and pointed everything out for us. The location was in walking distance of the center and the harbor. It couldn't have been better. Plenty of restaurants around as well as a bakery, small market and a large grocery store. We would highly rate this apartment!! Very clean and updated.

Perfect apartment for two.

Brigitte's flat is modern, clean and very spacious. It's in the heart of Palermo's old town and within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. It's a bustling and vibrant area during the day yet wonderfully quiet at night. Good restaurants abound. The only thing missing from our stay was good weather! Many thanks Brigitte for supplying a large umbrella - we made frequent use of this. And thank you too for your warm welcome despite our late arrival. Highly recommended all round.

Palermo Pearl

Brigitte's apartment is exceptional in every way. It is brilliantly located overlooking an ancient square in the fascinating La Kalsa centro storico district of Palermo. This apartment, ideal for a couple, is located on the first floor of a quiet apartment block and is literally a home away from home with beautifully appointed rooms, with every convenience available for the traveller. Brigitte, a fluent English speaker is a wonderful hostess, always available to provide assistance or advice if required. We could not recommend this property more highly. Thank you Brigitte!

Kalsa Palermo Apartment

From the moment we booked the apartment Brigitte provided us with all and any information that we needed on Palermo and on transportation in and around Palermo, In addition, when we had to leave early in the morning for the airport she provided us with a reliable driver. Brigitte was at the apartment upon our arrival to greet us. The apartment was in Kalsa in central historic Palermo, close to restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores. The apartment was immaculate, across from a park, and in a quiet residential neighbourhood. It was well equipped with lots of clean towels and a kitchen with every pot and utensil that one could need to cook with. And we can't praise Brigitte enough for her guidance and for her immeasurable assistance in retrieving and mailing our phone which had fallen out of a bag in the taxi, back to us. One could not ask for a nicer apartment and a kinder more informed host.

Super apartment in great location.

We really enjoyed our visit to Palermo and our stay in this apartment. The apartment is located 300m from Via Roma and only 10 minutes walk from Palermo Central Station. This apartment is exceptional. It is very well equipped, the photos are true and accurate and we have no hesitation in recommending it. The living area, bedroom and bathroom are very spacious and have lovely high ceilings. The building has recently been restored and to a high standard. There are a total of 4 apartments in the building and the area is quiet. The owner, Brigette is really nice and was very helpful, providing us with information about the city and the local Kalsa area, restaurants, grocery shops, bakery, markets etc. The kitchen area was well stocked with tea, coffee, condiments etc. Brigitte provided a welcome gift for us of a selection of Sicilian pastries (which were delicious) along with water and orange juice. The bathroom is well equipped, with a good shower and plenty of towels. Beach towels were also provided. The bedroom was cool and airy, the mattress was of good quality and very comfortable. We enjoyed this historic and somewhat unpolished locality of Palermo, it is very quiet and sleepy during the day but in the cool of the evening it comes alive for a few hours. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from and we felt welcomed wherever we went. We loved strolling up and down the cobbled side streets and piazzas in the evenings, where locals, young and old, families and friends meet up for maybe a meal, a drink or just a chat. It was great, for a change, to be able to stay in an area which is not just catering to foreign tourists. Definitely looking forward to a return visit.

Hits all the right buttons

I have a couple criteria I look for in vacation rentals, and this one was excellent in all regards. 1. Location. Nearly perfect. Close to the water, close by restaurants and sights. You can walk to everything. You really do not need (or want) a car in Palermo. We literally wandered around all week without need of a car. The street directly in front of the home is pedestrian only, so there is very little traffic noise. The restaurant that you can see from the balcony was recommended in several guide books and was excellent 2. Size. This is a nice sized one bedroom one bath. Comfortable seating area where can kick of your shoes and relax. Kitchen was functional and well stocked. Small, but useable deck off the living area. 3. Host. Brigitte could not be more welcoming. We like a host to meet us at the apartment and explain the functions, etc. Brigitte met us even though we were running late and she stayed and explained everything to us. She checked on us through WhatsAp to make sure we had everything we needed. She had a complete book with ideas for meals, excursions etc. We would absolutely stay in this property if we get back to Palermo. One word of advice if you rent here and have a car. There is a park about three blocks away where you can park for free. Make sure you get directions to it before you make your way into the city. GPS will get you there with no problem, but it would be next to impossible to figure it out on your own. My recommendation, do not bring a car into Palermo. The train station is close. Taxi's are expensive, but cheaper than a ticket for driving on a traffic limited street. Thanks Brigitte. We had a wonderful time

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in einer schönen Wohnung. Brigitte ist eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Die Wohnung verfügt über alle Annehmlichkeiten, außer Fahrstuhl, das ist mit schwererem Gepäck etwas anstrengend.

Best garden view in Palermo

The apartment is close to most activities, 15 minutes walk to the train station, and no more then 15-20 minutes to any venue. The kitchen was well appointed as was the entire apartment. The bed is firm and the bath roomy. It met all of our requirements and was a very pleasant stay.

Clean, spacious apartment in ideal location

What a great location - easy walking distance to all top tourist destinations! We loved all the little alleyways throughout the neighborhood, with wide choice of restaurants within easy reach. The apartment is spacious and was super clean. Thank you Brigitte for your warm welcome!
