Beautiful Beach Home

The house was very clean and had all the things that make it feel like home. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach. If you rent the umbrellas it makes it easy. Enjoyed our time.

March 2020 Stay

SeaLantro was a perfect place to stay for us! This roomy, comfortable home had everything we needed both inside and out. It’s location provided an easy walk to the beach - whether it be for lazy days in the sun enjoying the white sand and gorgeous blue/green water or the beautiful sunsets. The surrounding neighborhood offered plenty of opportunities for walking and the shopping was a close drive away. We loved it here and hope to return soon!

Family vacation

Overall great property. We did have a few issues with cleanliness (sandy when we arrived), and the air-conditioner for the upstairs did not cool on day 3. It was resolved the following day with good customer service.

Family beach trip

This was a very nice house that was the perfect size and configuration for our 3-generation family. Lots of nice features including the swim spa, outside storage closet and outside shower. We were somewhat disappointed in the location. It was a nice, quiet residential area, but you couldn't see or hear the ocean from the house or feel any ocean breeze.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is second time to stay in the home. We loved itenough to come back. Tons of space to spread out with your family. It’s clean and comfortable. SwimSpa in the back was fun for our littles to play in and for us to rest in on those hot afternoons. We love staying near Eastern Lake because our kids love the option of the lake play and the ocean play. But, you do have to walk through water to get to the beach at the closest beach entrance. We don’t mind but elderly people or a disabled guest might need to choose a different entrance.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, this was a great property! The blue beach carts were great for taking our items to and from the beach. Our only complaint is that the TVs are too small for the size of the master bedroom upstairs and the living room. The TV in the master upstairs is very far from the bed and it was hard to see. This might not be a problem most times, but we were trying to watch the Olympics and it was hard to see some of the events. Other than that, it was a great property and lots of room for everyone. We liked getting in the hot tub/pool to cool off after we got back from the beach.

Just ok

I don’t want to say it was dirty but it certainly wasn’t clean. Very dusty floors sandy in some places and the mattress didn’t have a mattress cover on it
.. that was disgusting. They also had the wrong size sheet on it so it kept coming off in the night. Couch was dirty, had slipcovers that were never washed. Some weird boxes on the floor in the main floor bedroom. Some stuff worn out or broken around the property. Amazing location though. Also, I told them I needed to bring my service dog and although I was allowed in the end I kind of had to argue with the person cause they immediately assumed it was an emotion support animal
 he is not so that was awkward for me.

Spacious House for large families

The house fixtures and decor are a little dated, but the house was clean and offered more than enough room for our family of 6. The endless pool quit working on us but was quickly repaired, these things happen. The pool has definitely seen better days but is still functional, particularly for the kids. It's a large house, would recommend they add more than three bikes to accommodate more guests, we had to rent a few. Location is convenient, beach is a six minute walk and very quick bike ride.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was clean. The house was nice but one bedroom was very small and the rest had plenty of room. Only one wash cloth barely enough towels for one towel for each person. The hot tub spa would have been more enjoyable if the heater worked. We still enjoyed cooling off in it. The staff at Oversee were great about taking care of things. It would have been helpful to know you have to wade through waist high water to get to the beach when you use the walking beach access.

Cozy home near the beach

The property was prefect. The kitchen and eating area was large. Each room had a TV, which was nice. There were enough beds and bedrooms for us and our 4 kids. The only negative was that the hot tub did not work. It could not be heated because the house's electric system needs upgrading to accommodate the hot tub. It was disappointing. Have the bikes was fantastic. We were able to bike to and from the breach, which was quite close. The neighborhood is quite, and the beach is beautiful. The house was the perfect get-away for us.

October 2020 Stay

Great place with plenty of room for three families. We could all spread out. Close to beach access and all the action. Plenty of bikes to get around. There are few updates that need to be taken care of. Patio furniture out back is in bad shape with some broken slates was also not very clean out there. Shirt and food wrappers left behind. Jacuzzi was nice for day usage but to cold for the evening hours. Temperature was locked so could not turn it up. Would have spent more time out there if we had a place to set. Back door out if bedroom does not work properly and we had to untie knots in the shade to be able to close it. Left eye on stove does not work. Lights out in two bathrooms. The down stairs master bath had a light that flickered. The pound key on the door lock sticks. Overall not a bad place with a bit of TLC.

October 2020 Stay

SeaLantro was a very nice, spacious house. We loved the layout, and it was plenty of room for two families of four. It was reasonably close to the beach, and the neighborhood was a great setting. We really enjoyed our stay. It was super nice to have an abundance of bikes to use. There were only a few things we would suggest improving. The back bedroom door wouldn’t open and shut properly, seemed like a hinge issue. The pool spa was a nice temperature for day time swimming, but it would have been nice to have the ability (as advertised) to turn the temperature up for a hot tub feel at night. The back patio furniture could be replaced (they were very unstable and worn with slats broken out of them). I think we would have spent more time out back if there was more comfortable seating. The left front stove eye did not work, and the fridge to a very long time to cool items down. Other than that, we loved it! The managing company was very easy to get in touch with and responded To any and all concerns.

August Break

Renting this property was super easy and the access to the property could not have been smoother. The property has plenty of room for our party of 8. We actually didn’t even use one of the bedrooms. The house is a bit dated and the couch/seat cushions were worn and a bit stained. The location is NOT .02 miles to the beach at all. It is a haul to the beach access and probably another .10 of a mile to the water. From the driveway to the beach access is 1/2 mile. I would not recommend this rental is you have young children or need to be back and forth to the house during the day. It’s just too far to walk. Overall the property is a nice, spacious rental.

Pleasantly Surprised

We were excited when we book the house based on the property description. When we arrived, the house and the beach surpassed our expectations! The house was very roomy and we had more than enough room for my parents, two kids, and my wife and me. The small pool was the perfect size for my two boys (4 & 2) and with a removable cover for the pool, we didn’t have to worry about the boys wandering into the pool while we weren’t watching. The boys LOVED the pool, especially the fountain jets that came out of the side of the pool. The beach was close enough to walk, but we rented a golf cart which made everything even easier. The Eastern Lake Beach Access had plenty of parking for our cart. The outflow from Eastern Lake was perfect for our boys to play in when the waves on the gulf were high. Both boys could stand up in the middle of the outflow and walk, which was nice. The outflow was a great place to splash, play, and watch small fish and crabs swim by. Our trip was over the Memorial Day week and we expected heavy beach traffic. Again, we were pleasantly surprised that the beach wasn’t crowded at all. There were many times in that we would have 500+ yards of space between our family and the next. Overall this is a great place to bring the extended family with lots of space and a great beach for all ages!

Beautiful spacious home with short walk to beach! Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Lots of seating for everyone. I do think if you like to cook you might want to bring some better cookware. Otherwise this was a wonderful house!

I cannot say enough about my love for Sealantro! My family and I have been making our annual trip for years and there’s a reason we keep going back to the same place! SeaLantro really does feel like a home away from home. Is spacious and comfortable and has everything you need. It is a close walk to the beautiful white sand beach. It’s also a quick drive to the grocery store, local restaurants, and shopping. Can’t wait to go back!

Our experience at the SeaLantro was a perfect relaxation retreat. The walk to the beach was beautiful and short. Wifi was easy and accessible throughout the house. The house was spacious and clean. A beautiful balcony to sit by and enjoy your morning breakfast. The private spa pool in the back was a nice change of pace from the beach. We could not have asked for a better location! Restaurants and shopping were very close by. From sit down restaurants to food trucks there were many options to eat. Overall an unforgettable trip! Can’t wait to return to the white sand beaches of Santa Rosa.
