Fun family get away!

My family booked this home for our vacation. The location is perfect with easy access to the pool and the beach. The home was clean with all the basic things we needed (hair dryers, salt/pepper, clean towels). We felt safe and comfortable. We would stay there again!

Great, clean house

The check-in process was extremely quick and easy. The property is in an excellent location and the house was very clean and beautiful. However, an item was lost there and the process to get it back is difficult.

Convenient and commodious

Enjoyed the amount of room. The beds were comfortable. The pool was close. The beach was very close. The location was perfect for our needs. Home was clean and easy check in and check out. Would recommend to others and would book again.

Stay at Pelican Bay 33

Our stay was very nice at Pelican Bay 33. The house was clean, had plenty of room and the layout was fine. Everything inside shows signs of wear and has been very much loved and used over the years. The bathroom counters downstairs have recently been renovated and looked nice. It definitely wouldn’t hurt to have a big overhaul of the floors (wooden and carpet), kitchen cabinets, and furniture. There was only three of us staying but if our family of five stayed there wouldn’t be much seating in the main living area to sit and watch tv comfortably. The master bedroom could really use a new mattress. I didn’t spend much time upstairs but my kids said everything was fine. The washer and dryer was large and nice to have. The distance to the beach was good and not far. It was almost a straight shot to the beach access across the road. All and all our trip was nice and I would probably rent again.

Pelican Reach

Overall it was perfect for us. The furniture could be updated, but was okay. The house is conveniently located by the ocean and pool. The neighbors were friendly. The house neighborhood was quiet. We enjoyed our week in Isle of Palms.

Perfect location

The cottage was perfect for our family stay! Proximity to the beach and bike paths was important to us and we took advantage of this amenity often. It is a beautiful 25 minute drive to the downtown Charleston area as well! The home overlooks the golf course and is a close distance from other great restaurants and shops. The town of Isle of Palms is also nearby and fun for a walk, ice cream, shops food and drinks. We loved our stay!!

Great house great location

Loved it!

We had a wonderful stay at Pelican Bay 33! It’s a cozy home with a lovely front porch and just a short walk away from the beach. The bedrooms were all clean and comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed during our stay. The decor was also lovely—with lots of unique artwork and books which really made the place feel special. Would definitely visit again!

The property location was excellent however it was disappointing some of the amenities such as the grill did not work, very little as far as kitchen supplies and the house phone rang constantly with realtors which was a nuisance. We didn’t even know where the phone was and finally located it behind the Tv

Great location

The house is directly across the street from beach access which was very nice! Loved the fireplace and the space the house has. Was clean but the carpets and some furniture need to be replaced. They are worn out. Also some of the tile in the downstairs bathroom could use to be replaced. Overall a nice place to stay. Thanks we will be back.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION

The house was perfect for our family of 3 adult couples with one baby! The locations was perfect to the pool & the Wild Dunes Beach house/beach access!!! The master bedroom below has a large walk in closet that we used as the "nursery". We placed a sound machine & crib in there and it worked out great for us! We stayed the second week of October--perfect weather. The neighbors were extremely friendly to us as a renter! There are approx 35-ish houses in this small/quaint neighborhood that is primarily full time home owners.

Nice house but needs some attention.

We stay in Wild Dunes several times per year and compared to other homes we have stayed in this one isn't kept up as well. This is a nice home, but needs some updates on the flooring and furnishings. The beds were clean but the baseboards appeared to have never been dusted and the floor around the walls was not swept.(dead bugs and dust bunnies galore) Other than that with a little attention this home is cozy.

Horrible get away

The property needed several repairs and attention . We were extremely disappointed as this was our first vacation since March of 2020. The price was much too expensive for the quality of the property, would not recommend .

Needs work

I’ve rented many places and this was the most disappointing rental. The house wasn’t clean. There were multiple issues with furnishings but most notably the kitchen table extensions were held up by spoons, making impossible to use for more than 2 people. The electrical sockets in the bathrooms didn’t work, and the upstairs . We called to report this to maintenance and nobody came to fix. The grill was supposed to be gas grill but was electric and didn’t work. Toilet seat upstairs was held on with one fixture. The picnic table on the deck was fabulous. This house needs work to be ready to be rented.

Great location!

This cottage is in a great location. Just a couple minutes to the beach! Cottage could use some new furniture in the den/family room. The couches are cloth with some stains and just had a lot of wear and tear. Could use a little updating but overall it suited our purpose!

Great family beach house!

Easy walk to the beach, plenty of room for us to spread out and gather together, depending on what was going on. The beds were really comfortable! We loved the beach chairs, boogie boards and sand toys. The back porch overlooking the golf course was a great place for morning coffee and the front porch was great to watch afternoon storms roll in. Nice, quiet neighborhood too!
