Wonderful beach house

Fantastic beach views from top and bottom bedrooms and living area. Only 75 steps along sidewalk to beach or pool. Loved the house! Great vacation!

Great location!

This condo was only about 30 yards from the beach, and had excellent views of the sound. Several deer would come up into the grassy area to feed, in the morning and evening! Very relaxing!!

Great location

Perfect location for family with children. Short walk for nightly ice cream. Kitchen was stocked with everything needed. Short walk to the beach.

Perfect villa

This villa was absolutely perfect for my family! We loved being steps from the beach and relaxing on the patio or balcony. The inside also did not disappoint! Five great sized bedrooms and bathrooms! Two family rooms and laundry. I highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

Adult family getaway

We absolutely loved our stay at your property! Everything was extremely clean and we had plenty of room for our family! We were pleasantly surprised at how close we were to the beach and how many dolphins there were swimming very close to the shore! Captured many photos to share with our grandkids. We also had a bonus and saw 2 large bucks and 4 does right next to our back deck!!! Thank you for allowing us to stay! Definitely will come back.

Christmas in paradise

My wife, son, brother in law, and two Bruce’s all stayed. It was perfect everyone had their own private space. There were great places to hang out and have time together. The kitchen was perfect. Not only did it have two ovens and plenty of room. It had everything you need to cook a great meal. The view was spectacular. On Christmas Eve we had a family of deer walk right outside our room. We also saw dolphin right from our balcony.

Beautiful and convenient

Enjoyed a week of rest and fun. Very comfortable home for our family of 4 and both sets of parents, with room to spare. Well stocked kitchen and wonderful dining table to share meals and card games together. Loved quiet coffee mornings on the deck with parents watching dolphins while the teenagers slept in. Afternoons spent between the beach and pool. Evenings exploring on the bike trails. Truly a wonderful time. Many thanks for sharing your lovely home!

Best vacation ever!

Our family of 6 adults and 4 children (3 and under) had the best vacation ever. The property was perfect! Enough room for everyone to do their own thing, eat as one big family or all come together inside and outside to just hang out together. The proximity to the beach, Salty Dog and the bike trails made this property one we will definitely come back to. The quiet, non crowded beach, pool that was perfectly located to the property, beautiful views of the water and wildlife, and a grassy area right out the back door offered something for everyone! The kitchen had enough basics for our big family at meal times and evening walks for ice cream were wonderful! The property manager was very easy to work with and quite accommodating. This property exceeded our expectations!

Fabulous house but...

The house was wonderful - everything just as advertised. Very clean and checkin was a breeze. My "but" comes for Vacasa - the management company. The A/C in the bottom floor was not working and the temp downstairs was 80. Vacasa was very responsive, getting a repair technician out the next morning and letting us know who and when he would be arriving. The technician was unable to fix the problem and said Vacasa would be contacting me. But Vacasa has never contacted me to inform me, discuss a refund, apologize for the problem or any other communication other than the automated checkout. Shame on you Vacasa. I'll be calling this week and your response will determine whether I will ever rent from you again.

Great Christmas vacation

We loved the proximity to the beach and Salty Dog. There was plenty of room for us to spread out if we wanted. Our ages ranged from 86 to 16, so some of us were able to have coffee in the morning without waking the others. We were worried the living room wouldn’t be large enough to accommodate all of us, but there was plenty of room (there were 8 of us and there was seating for 7, we just pulled up a chair from the kitchen table).

Best location we’ve stayed on HHI in 40 years

This location is right on the water with gorgeous views and easy access to the beach. The unit itself is beautifully decorated with all the essentials covered and sound proof to neighbors. We were able to accommodate 6 adults and 3 toddlers with plenty of space to spread out. The close proximity of the unit to the Salty Dog is a huge plus so we could splurge on daily Kailua Colada or ice cream for the kids with little planning. We look forward to staying here again!

My only complaint is the bedroom downstairs was hot and difficult to sleep. They had a sign on the thermostat that it not be lowered under 75. The rest of the house was great and the views were amazing! I would definitely stay there again!

South Beach Delight

The property is well located in South Beach, near tennis, bike and walking trails, the beach, and the iconic Salty Dog eatery. It is very well appointed in terms of decor, glass and dish ware, and bathrooms. Renters are the beneficiaries of a very tasteful, high end renovation in recent years.

Our 10th yr. at 1458 Sound Villa.

We love this spacious home and the easy access to South Beach restaurants and activities! Our family especially enjoys the view of Callibogue Sound from the balcony. We see boats, deer, dolphins and many different birds almost every day. A great vacation location!
