The location was perfect, and communication throughout our stay was excellent! The home itself was charming, though it could use a bit of maintenance—some of the kitchen cabinet doors came off the hinges when we opened them. Aside from that, everything else was great and we really enjoyed our stay.

Beach getaway!!

Absolutely loved this home! My family and I were in town for a wedding, this home allowed us to relax and enjoy the time we had by the beach. We have already talked about rebooking for another week next year. 11/10 recommend staying here!!

Loved this location!

Great home!The location was so close to the beach. Hole also had very comfortable beds and a large kitchen. Enjoyed the large common areas to gather inside and outside.Would recommend a friends and family!!!

Excellent Location

We stay at this home every time we visit the Charleston area. We love Sullivan's Island, and the location is perfect. The pathway to the beach is next to the home, and from the deck we can see the water and watch the cargo ships go into the ports. The home is perfect for 2-3 couples. Two bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and one bedroom is next to a full bathroom (small shower). This is a cute beach home, with an enclosed "porch" and open deck for enjoying the sounds of birds and breezes blowing through the palms. A short walk to the historic Fort Moultrie, a nice walk to all the restaurants on the main street, 10-min drive into Mt Pleasant for shopping, and 15-20 min drive to downtown historic Charleston. We're already booked for our next trip in February.

This is a great place to stay. Great location and very comfortable. The home is an older home but cozy with personality. It's quiet, relaxing and provides an amazing place to rejuvenate.

Great House, Location, and Atmosphere!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! The house was perfect for our family of 5, who went back and forth to the beach at different times throughout the day! The double decks are an idyllic extension of the house, as are the screened porch and dining area! We would definitely rent this beautiful space again, thank you!

Charming Home Near Beach

We loved the charm, the spaciousness, and the amenities right down to the Guns and Gardens magazines. It was well furnished. the beds were very comfortable, and it was very clean. Just steps away from the beach and lighthouse, the views from the sunroom and back porch were spectacular. We definitely hope to come back again.

Perfect beach getaway!

My daughters and I loved our stay - great location! It was a quick walk to the beach, quick walk to restaurants, and a quick drive into Charleston. The home is well equipped and has a real beachy feel.

House is great, Vacasa is not.

This beach house is beautiful and perfect, although definitely showing signs of wear and tear. The ceiling in the master bedroom upstairs has a huge crack in it and the paint is peeling and cracking and dropping down from it. The outdoor shower is dark and dirty and smells very bad. It's not really an outside shower. It's in the garage under the deck, so there is no open air at all. There are spider webs and egg sacks everywhere and it's not even a place you'd want to wash your sandy feet off because of the smell. It's dank and dark and musty. The house is well loved and fully stocked with everything you could ever need and I am in love with it completely. I am not in love with Vacasa, as I had an important issue and they did absolutely nothing to help, until a day and a half later and then it was far too late. I had remedied the problem myself, at my expense and lost valuable time with my guests doing so. The house? The location? The vibe? ALL WONDERFUL. Vacasa really let down the guests and the owner of this house and it's not okay. Other than the Vacasa issue? We had an amazing, wonderful, peaceful week in the ocean, on the beach and in town. It's a lovely home, just needs some attention. It's time.

Comfortable, convenient on Sullivan's Island

We enjoyed the house. Proximity to beach excellent. Furnishings comfortable and especially enjoyed the sunroom/porch. Easy walk to SI restaurants and fairly easy trip to CHS. We had an excellent visit and have stayed in the CHS/IOP/SI area many, many times.

Perfect Location

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful beach house! Amazing location and loved the porch and two decks! We were a family of 5 and had plenty of space. Loved the older beach house style and decor, hard to find in this area. Thanks for sharing your home and we hope to be back next year!

Great location, comfortable home

Can't beat the location. Kitchen is very dated but pretty well appointed. One of the glasstop oven eyes doesn't work, but didn't really impede our enjoyment. Love the porch, which is fully enclosed but you couldn't tell from the pictures.

Better than expected

The accommodations were great. Three couples and everyone had their own space and plenty of space to congregate. The room off the kitchen and living room is FANTASTIC. Great place to eat, visit and then head to one of the two decks to look at a beautiful backyard and a view of the ocean. Couldn’t ask for a better location.

Great location

We’ve been to SI several times, and this was our favorite rental. The location was perfect — close to the beach with underrated views, and walkable to restaurants and the park. the house itself was more than adequate for our family of four. Thanks for a great stay — we can’t wait to come back next year!

As close to perfect as you can ask

So many great features of this house, but I will list a few of the key items for anyone trying to decide whether to book this property: * Location is excellent. Little to no auto traffic here. A good amount of foot traffic because it's right next to the beach access. The lighthouse is right next door, but the light from it was never an issue. Just a very cool landmark. * Comfort - the beds were extremely comfortable. We all actually commented how we never count on that at a rental property, but really slept great! * 3 full baths was a huge plus. Water pressure was really nice. * Everything in the house worked well from appliances to lighting, wifi, etc. Thank you for keeping it all in such great shape. * The sun room was a wonderful touch. It rained a lot when we were there, so there wasn't much chance to use the balconies, but the sun room with a door open helped us hear the birds and a gentle sound of waves. * Very ample parking and access to the garage. It's a little dark if you arrive at night, so have your cell phone light ready when you're using the key pads. You will go through several doors and up a flight of stairs before entering the home. * Tons of towels, nice linens, and all the necessary toiletry items were a huge plus. The special welcome gift when we arrived was a pleasant surprise since we arrived later than we hoped. (I won't give away any secrets). We really can't wait to stay at this exact property again in the future.

Amazing location. Home is older

We stayed here for a long weekend over the Hurricane Ian weekend. The location is fabulous and it has ocean views from the decks and sun porch. Beds are very comfortable (a high priority for us!) and the house is cozy and has all you need. It is, however, an older home and has all the quirks of such- some window don’t open (most do) and kitchen is dated. The only thing that needs to be managed is the AC. There are units in the windows - though there is central AC. Worked most of the time but we got errors a couple of times. Though the temp was mild (did I mention the Hurricane?!) during our stay so we were always comfortable. Just something to double check… We had a delightful stay in this charming older home and would return!
