The door code did not work, we called and were provided a 10 digit number that worked. No other issues. Condo was very nice. Perfect for our stay. Would rent again on our next visit.

Lovely spot! Roomy and close enough to beach

I liked how much room there was to the condo and the screened in porch was awesome. I appreciate the initial stock of essentials. The binder with suggestions was great.

Peaceful

We walked in and the place was beautiful. Clean, decorated nicely and spacious. The screened in porch was so relaxing watching the boats go by. We would rent again. Short walk to the restaurants and small shops. Great stay. The people at Vacasa local office were extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating.

Little slice of heaven

The screened in back porch, incredible water/marina view, and complex overall make this stay so very special. The unit itself is well decorated, spacious, clean, private/quiet, and easy to access. While the tinted hurricane doors & windows are beautiful, there are no blinds or curtains to fully block morning light. Bring a face mask if a dark room for sleep is your preference.

Comfortable and Accommodating

The property is clean and comfortable. The back porch of the property is facing the mariner which was perfect for a glass of wine in the evenings to watch the boats and the sunset. The place is well equipped with all the necessities and the owners also threw in a few extras like scented candles and laundry detergent pods. The location is good. We were close to stores and restaurants. The towels and was clothes were a little rough so I would recommend a higher quality for better softness. We had a great stay and would definitely use for future stays.

Convenience, location, peace, views - Mariners Cay is the Full Package

We had an amazing time in Folly Beach thanks to our stay in Mariners Cay. The site is top notch; you don't have to worry about insane beach parking or driving back and forth, because you can keep your car at the condo and walk across the bridge. Easy peasy. Spectacular Folly River views, too. The unit itself is everything you need; good size (2 bed, living, dining, full kitchen) - and we were spoiled by having 2 bathrooms too. Property management is very, very considerate - with some starter amenities, good housekeeping, and not at all stingy with the bath linens. But the piece de resistance that every unit has is the screened in porch. Mariners Cay made us decide that we will never, ever, for the rest of our lives, be without a screen porch again. Period. Having a dinner guest, someone to come pick you up, or pizza delivery is a minor pain, though. No gate code means you have to run out to the guard gate every time with your passcard.

Stay at Folly Beach was nice Condo had issues

First when I initially rented the Condo I thought the it was from private owner but later found it was owned by Wyndam Resorts and Managed by Avocet. The condo is older and not well maintained. The condo was dirty when we arrive and we found both live and dead bugs in the condo. The condo smelled like mold and mildew we believe the culprit was the dirty carpeting. Additionally the furniture is old and the couch was very uncomfortable. The shower head on in the second bathroom needs to be replaced. The plumbing also had issues, when you flushed one toilet the other toilet water levels change and makes a gurgling sound. On the positive side the Avocet staff was helpful and courteous. We had an issue with digital lock not functioning and we were locked out of the Condo. The maintenance staff responded quickly and fixed the issue. The view from the back porch was excellent and relaxing. This is my third VRBO rental and the only one I have had any real issue with. I would return to Folly Beach in the future but not this property or any other owned by Wydam.

Beautiful Views

Very nice condo but it needs some detail cleaning. Bathroom floors are not clean and alot of the dishes in the cupboards were filthy

Yearly summer stay

The location, the porch views, the big pool, and grills. Everything was spotless, and we had no problems. If any imput coulb be given. A kurieg and access to a broom so we could sweep up daily and not leave it all to the staff.

Amazing home

This home was very comfortable, the bed was nice! It was clean and had everything we needed. The best part was the back patio, I was able to watch the dolphins every morning and evening. A nice man was fishing on the dock and he called me down to watch the dolphin play in the water. I would recommend this place if you don’t want to be right in the heat of everything, it’s literally less than a 5 min drive to the beach. You could walk there as well!

Perfect in every way

Great views, awesome unit.

We really love this unit. I have saved it for future trips. The only thing I wished was we could’ve stayed longer! Very clean the cute towels on the beds the awesome screened in porch. Loved loved loved it

Very nice!! Clean, modern and well-maintained. Odor-free. Great location, close to everything! 2 minutes to beach, restaurants and shopping, 20 minutes to downtown Charleston. Would be even better during summer and we will recommend to friends.

Great relaxing place for the family!

This condo was everything my family of 6 needed (two of our children stayed with their cousins at their beach house). Beautiful marsh view, available fishing, and close to town. Condo was well appointed with linens, garbage bags and laundry detergent (we never had to buy any). Only negative was the exterior is very poorly lighted making checkin at night a little bit difficult. We would definitely go back!

Folly Beach Vacation

We had a great time at our beautiful condo. We were close enough to Charleston but even nicer was our location to Folly Beach. If we had any questions or needed any assistance, we would just text the owner and within five minutes we had our answer. The condo was clean and was fully stocked with any cooking utensils we needed. The only complaint we had, and it wasn’t that big of a deal, was that the toilet in the master bathroom didn’t set right and tended to rock around when you sat on it. Other than that, a good time was had by all.
