Beläget i sydvästra hamnen, känd som den lugna sidan av Mount Desert Island, bara några minuter från centrala affärer och restauranger. Fastigheten ligger bakom Main Street och bredvid golfbanan! Fastigheten ligger mindre än en 2 minuters bilresa till Echo-sjön som har en egen strand med livräddare och mycket varmare vatten än havet, vatten når 75 grader på sommaren VÄRLIGT FANTASTISK FÖR EN AVSLAGANDE SVÄM ELLER BARA SLAGA DAGEN AWAY MED EN BOK. Men om du föredrar Ocean Vi är några minuter från det också, Vi har sandstrand som ligger i Acadia National Park. Det är också nära hållplatsen för den kostnadsfria Island Explorer-buss som serverar hela ön. Southwest Harbour ligger 15 minuters bilresa från Bar Harbor och några minuter från Acadia National Park, vandring, cykling, kajakpaddling, valskådning och alla attraktioner i närheten.

A pleasant stay in Southwest Harbor.

The condo was very clean and nicely designed. The location was convenient and in a less crowded and quiet area. The host was available and was so helpful with suggestions of what to do in the area prior to our trip.

Just what we were looking for…

We were returning to Southwest Harbor to play golf at the nearby Causeway Club with our adult son. We couldn’t be closer to golf or more comfortable for our stay. Communication with Tim was timely and efficient and the property was spotless and well appointed. We highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again.

Great place!

Tim was super nice and helpful far before the trip even started. He had great resources to offer us and the place was perfect. Plenty of space, beds, and kitchen appliances. Located not far at all from trails and the park and you could even walk to the main area of southwest harbor if you wanted to which was really cute. Highly recommend!

Great location to Acadia but away from BH crowds

Great location to SW Harbor main drag. Basic grocery and laundromat within walking distance of house. Some early am road noise from the main highway but not too disruptive. Property is very clean and conveniently located to explore the area without all of the traffic, etc of BH.

Great place

Everything we needed for our 3 day stay. We cooked our lobsters in the kitchen. Close to everything- grocery store, restaurants, hiking, Bar Harborand Cadillac Mountain. Nice swimming spots at Echo Lake and Sandy Beach. Definitely recommend this rental. Tim lives here, too! He and his wife are very friendly.

Perfect place for our trip to Acadia NP

Nice place and well equipped with supplies. Acadia is spread out all over the area so you are a good drive to some trails and views but still close to many other trails. I stayed with my 2 kids in college and it was perfect for us.

Perfect spot for a family home base!

We have 2 teens and this spot was perfect. This spot in Southwest Harbor was just a couple of minute drive from the little dowtown, and also very close to grocery store and laundromat. The host was incredibly quick with responses.

Comfortable condo/appartment

The property owner was wonderful providing info and help as needed. The kitchen was well equipped for those who like to prepare meals. Staying on the "quiet side" of Mt. Desert Island was good for us. We had easy access to Acadia National Park and could drop into the busyness of Bar Harbor when we wanted that experience.

Both of my kids loved staying there. They had so much fun exploring the loft and games. They discovered the singing fish deco on the last day and had a blast. My husband and I loved how functional the kitchen was. It was a great stay and we would like to go back!!

Plenty of room/great location

The property has plenty of room including a full size eat-in kitchen. The yard has a picnic table and grill. It's just a short distance to the heart of the village and there's easy access to Acadia Park and Flying Mountain.

Excellent place!

We were so impressed with this guest house. The accommodations were perfect--from the well-stocked kitchen (from cheese grater to lobster pot, cooking oil to salt they have all the little details needed to allow you to cook nearly anything in the kitchen!), the lovely setting, the picnic tables in the back yard, the close proximity to a grocery store and downtown, easy access to Acadia, it is the perfect place to stay when visiting the Acadia/Bar Harbor/Down East. So much better than a hotel in so many ways!

Our stay was excellent. The property was very clean and convenient. We were a short scenic 20 minute drive from the park. There were many thoughtful amenities to make our arrival welcoming like hand soap, coffee and paper towels. The bedding was excellent and helped us sleep well after a day of hiking. Family owned and run. We have Four rental cottages at this location. We keep one for ourselves, the other Three we rent. They are all beautifully set up with everything you will need for a comfortable and enjoyable vacation. We include free cable t.v. WiFi internet connection, one time linen set up, bathroom towels, gas grill and bench set for the garden. etc...etc... JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!

Newly refurbished this year, close to everything on the Island of 'Mount Desert Island' it is 15minutes to the main entrance of ACADIA NATIONAL PARK, 20 minutes to BAR HARBOR. 2 minutes to ECHO LAKE BEACH!! (One of the most popular places on the Island, it has a sand beach plus lifeguards!) and we are just a few minutes from Southwest Harbor town!
