The location is perfect to escape the crowds of Bar Harbor. Tons of food options very close by. The property is very clean and comfortable.

We were there for the Marathon Weekend and we were so grateful the host directed us to a shortcut directly to the finish line from the property. So convenient for my family watching the finish and for me to walk back on tired legs!!

We felt like we must be the first ones to ever use this place, it was so clean! Perfect for our family of 4. Very comfortable and great location to walk into cute little town. Nice to be staying in a quiet area after seeing busy Bar Harbor. Easy drive into Acadia. Loved it!

We loved staying here away from the hustle and bustle. It was easy to get to in Southwest Harbor and very well maintained. The hosts were amazing! We highly recommend staying here.

An extremely comfortable space with plenty of natural light and a very nice outdoor space. My friend and I greatly enjoyed our stay. We appreciated the walking distance to the restaurants and shops in Southwest Harbor (and the Cranberry Island ferry), the quiet location, and we enjoyed sunset on the deck with the propane fire pit. The space was very clean and well equipped, and it was an easy drive to Acadia. We would definitely stay here again!

Another amazing stay! This was our third summer staying at The Barn Loft, and it was as wonderful as ever. Clean, well-stocked, comfortable, and a great location. Dawn makes the entire experience seamless and is a wonderful host. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Barn Loft while exploring Acadia. The space was clean and well stocked. The location was in walking distance to downtown Southwest Harbor, which has plenty of shops and food options, while being way less congested than Bar Harbor. The hosts communicated quickly and provided helpful information about the area. We would definitely stay here again.

The loft was so clean and suited our needs very well. (2 parents, 3 kids aged 14, 11, and 8) We really liked being close enough to town to walk but the property feels private and slightly secluded.

Loft was great. Plenty of room. The living room and kitchen were well stocked. Bedrooms were big and nice to have two bathrooms. Very private location at Southwest Harbor.

Great place to stay for a family vacation. Close enough to walk to great food and shops without the busy “tourist season” hustle and bustle of other areas. We truly enjoyed our stay at the Barn Loft and our time in Southwest Harbor.

This is an amazing property. The entrance stair is steep and wide. It wouldn't be good for little kids (no baby gate possible) or anyone with a mobility issues. The deck is amazing. One of my goals for the vacation was star gazing at Acadia, and I just stayed at the house and used the deck. I even saw a shooting star! Everything was clean and I would book it again!

This property was perfect for our weekend getaway to ANP. It was very clean and quiet. We especially enjoyed the fire pit on the deck in the cool evenings after long days of hiking. We’ll be back again!

Everything about the stay was great. The loft was clean, the rooms comfortable, and the kitchen had all the essentials for daily meals. The location was quiet but only a short walk to main street or down to the dock. We enjoyed the view and watching the wildlife from the deck. Overall a wonderful place!

Awesome Barn Loft!

Our family had a great stay at the Barn Loft. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and in a beautiful area! Close enough to Acadia to enjoy all the park has to offer but without all the congestion. We would certainly stay here again!
