Sea Cabins are Great!

Sea Cabins are a great location - right on the beach and the main drag of IOP. Our kids loved that there was a pool and we loved that it was short walk across the parking lot to the beach access and the view from our balcony! Our condo could use some work and a deep cleaning but we were at the beach and had a great time and that’s what mattered! Would definitely stay at Sea Cabins again!

One of our best Sea Cabin experiences!

We’ve stayed at Sea Cabins nearly every visit to IOP, and this unit had it all - nicely furnished and maintained, well stocked, accurately described; comfortable; terrific view. We’d rent again, and really enjoyed working with Vacasa from start to finish.

Great weekend getaway

Great little place for a weekend getaway. Everything was as described. Perfect location to be near all the great things to explore in Charleston and the beach!

Look for another unit

Pros: Location Parking Pool Cons: Blood on the bathroom wall Moldy shower curtain Air filters hadn’t been changed since April. Apartment was constantly wet feeling. Floors were gross, sand to be expected, but the floors in general were gross. Management did send someone to change the shower curtain and clean the blood off the wall once we notified them. They were supposed to refund our cleaning fee for the issues, but we haven’t seen that. Save yourself the time and find another unit to rent.

Disappointing

The ad called it stunning - it was not. It was extremely outdated, had only a full size bed when it was advertised to have a Queen bed, had tiny bunks with styrofoam mattresses (my husband had to sleep there since we can't sleep in only a full size bed together), and the tv had no cable connection. We loved the location, but would never stay there again.

Out dated! Like VHS out dated! We rented 4 units for this week and this was the only unit that looked old and unkept. We paid as much as the other up to date units. The location is good and the pool is nice with a good beach access, but that was all. Nothing good about the unit.

Moldy smell! Bad place! Do NOT stay in this house!

I want to give them 0 star. I would not recommend anyone to stay here. The house smells moldy, when the air cuts on, you can smell the mold thru the vents. The blankets looks like they have not been washed and just fold it up and put it up. The sofa bed had a sheets on it with sand and dry blood stains on the side. The vent has build up dust. The toilet would go off all the time, and you would have to flush twice every time we use it. They left us a watery soap in the bathroom for us. We had to left this place the next morning because I was afraid my children and I were breathing in bad air that we don’t need. And I had to find another place to stay for our vacation. It’s ridiculous! I messaged someone about these matters and all they could say is we are looking into this matter, someone will contact me. They never contact me.

The place was great. We had a blast. Can walk to everything you need.

Loved the room. Property was clean. We only had one problem - the television did not work. I sent a text to 843-882-5517, per the instructions but never heard back from anyone. It wasn't a big deal for us, but it may be for someone else, so you may want to go check it out.

Great location to Beach

Can't beat location to beaches,pool and restaurants, you can access Harris Teeter by foot as well. The twin bunk beds are tiny and rather uncomfortable, we didn't use them. Good accommodations for a week.

Outdated but good location

The toilet and fridge didn’t work the first two days at the property. It wasn’t clean at all when we arrived so we spent the first day cleaning. I was back and forth via text with a Vasca team member who assured my management would be in contact with me it never happened. We asked for the air filter on the furnace to be changed because we were waking up with breathing issue and it was filthy, that also never happened. The condo is outdated which we don’t mind but the toilet and fixtures in the bathtub need to be changed badly. The location to the beach, and pool were great however I wouldn’t stay at this property again, which is sad because this was my kids first time at the beach.

IOP stay

We had the best week on IOP! This condo is the perfect beach front location. Pool was chilly but the kids loved it. The condo was the perfect size for our family with small kids. The unit itself could use some cosmetic updates. And maybe a mattress pad for the pull out couch.

Great location, could use some updates.

Great location, was happy with the price. I would draw attention to the shower as the knobs need some help. The master bed, I was scared to sleep in it for fear that I would fall through it. The couch had a weird texture to it, I couldn’t tel if it was supposed to feel like that or if it was dirty. All in all though, despite these findings, not bad for the price. Thanks for opening your property to us. I would recommend this property maybe for a younger family (with younger kids). Great family vacation spot.

Great location and value. Served it’s purpose.

The location of this unit is perfect. Private access to the beach and pier are some key highlights. The check in process was exceptional and we had no issues with the unit at all. Communication with the property managers was exceptional and efficient. We never had a chance to use the stove but it was a nice to have. There are plenty of dishes and utensils in the unit. It was very clean as well. Now if you are looking for a luxurious place to stay there may be something down the street, but this is all we needed for the price. We never used the “bunk beds”. Calling them beds is a stretch. It was missing a mattress for one of them but this was communicated by the property managers and they notified us that one was ordered and was delayed in shipping. We did not plan on using it and let them know it wasn’t a big deal. I’d recommend higher quality mattresses for the bunks because all that is on there is more or less cheap foam cushions you would see on patio furniture. I can’t imagine they are very comfortable at all. The pull out couch was used and served it’s purpose. It’s hard to get high quality sofa beds without spending a fortune. Overall the unit was really all we needed and worth the money for our stay. I’d recommend giving it a shot because of the location and the management team being on top of their game.

Sea Cabins

The property was clean & the staff were so nice. It was a very family friendly atmosphere. The room was everything we expected it to be. The ocean was right there in view from the balcony. Overall an amazing vacation spot! 10/10 definitely recommend.
