Great Family Atmosphere

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Enjoyed every minute of the stay. Very family friendly, and felt safe. The building was clean, the pool area and grilling area was nice- charcoal Webber grills. Had laundry, ice machine and vending machines, as well as Landry detergent and sunscreen at the front desk. Pet friendly. Room was nice (very spacious compared to a hotel room) and well equipped to cook in and eat in if you wanted. This is our new vacation stay while in Florida.

Great home base for a fun extended weekend

Beacher’s was a wonderful place to stay during our time in the area over the weekend. We were able to enjoy Dayton Beach, the Daytona race weekend, St. Augustine, and Blue Springs State Park (manatee viewing). Would highly recommend.

Reviewer Comments: Beacher's Lodge Unit 326 was a wonderful choice for our mini-vacation.Positives:- Helpful on-site property management and maintenance staff (needed tv assistance)- Amazing view of the ocean from the balcony and main living space- Easy access to beach over boardwalk near the Lodge's pool- Great beach...clean sand with no rocks, shells or seaweed - Comfortable bed in bedroom and the murphy pull-down beds were a great idea to add to the unit- Air conditioning and fans worked well- Common area laundry facilities at $2.00 per washer or dryer load worked wellAreas for Improvement:- Coffee maker was a mini version and we suggest upgrading to a normal size coffee maker- Add a large wooden cutting board to the kitchen utensils (the glass cutting board isn't efficient -makes loud scaping sounds as its being used)- Add some cards, puzzles or board games to the unitRecommended Restaurants:- For seafood highly recommend Seafood Kitchen (amazing food and casual environment, 3 miles from Bleacher's Lodge); walk-ins welcome-For great atmosphere, music and food look to Prohibition Kitchen downtown at 119 St. George Street- For Spanish or Cuban inspired food look to Columbia Restaurant downtown at 98 St. George Street. We really loved having an office to assist us with our check in and check out. We've had a couple of issues in the past with using VRBO checking in and codes not working, so having the guest office was great. We were just steps to the beach. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed with dishes and cookware. The king bed was very comfortable. And they would come to your unit each day to make the bed and provided us with fresh towels. We would definitely recommend staying here.

The parking lot, elevators, stairways, walk ways, pool area and rest rooms are always clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our suite was clean and looked like the photos we saw online. The kitchen has the basics to cook a meal,nothing fancy but very workable. I will say that I did not find the bed very comfy. It might be time for a new mattress. The bedroom has plenty of storage. Small bathroom but it was fine. The view from the balcony is perfect! The location of the Lodge is great, laid back and quiet. There are restaurants and bars in the area. We love to eat Italian food at Violas. The Sandbar for a beer or two after a day at the beach. The Alligator Farm, Marineland and the Lighthouse are close by for those needing a break from the pool or beach. We had a great stay.

Fantastic, just fantastic!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My daughter and I spent three nights in a condo on the third floor. The view of the beach was wonderful, and to our absolute delight, we were able to see a rocket launch from Canaveral right from our balcony! We spent a lot of time walking on the beach. It was too cold to swim in the ocean, but we were able to swim in the heated pool at the lodge. The room was comfortable with two pull down murphy beds, and a king bed. It was very quiet and everyone we saw was friendly and welcoming. We took an evening boat ride in St. Augustine to see the Nights of Lights. We visited the Castillo and Fort Matanzas, both of which were very interesting. Also enjoyed exploring old St. Augustine. Overall a great trip. We would absolutely stay at Beacher's Lodge again!

St Augustine Getaway Weekend

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the location is beautiful, and we have been coming for over 20 years. However we had a reservation for three days and we left after one and will not be returning. Management revised their television lineup and reduced the number of channels. No sports and that is what we enjoy at night while in our room. Very disappointed in their decision. We will go elsewhere in the future. If you change your method of television selections, NOT STREAMING, let us know. To watch the weather channel you had to make some application to even see this. VERY POOR.

Great for 2 people

Condo was great, I wouldn't recommend it for more than 2. 1 bedroom with king and 2 fold down twins in living room. We didn't need the fold down beds, but it would have been crowded if we did. Nice view and condo was clean. Definitely would stay again.

Great Beach Condo

The staff was helpful and nice. ST Augustine is only 20 minutes and there are dozens of small local restaurants near by. Just note that these units do not have central AC but do have wall units. For some that can be a problem as they will run non stop all day in the Florida heat.

Not the best experience

Our main issue was that the air conditioner didn't keep up during our 2 night stay. It was set at 60 when we entered and maintained a temperature of what was probably 75-80. The unit on the balcony is also very loud. When I told the front desk, she said "ok?" . I felt this was a very unprofessional way to handle a guest who is voicing that they are uncomfortable during their stay. Also, we left something behind in the room and were unable to get in touch with the front desk or property manager after checking out which is very frustrating. (Once they got our money, the communication stopped). Beautiful view but that's all this place has offer!
