Great vacation spot

This is a beautiful house that is right next to a wonderful restaurant (Old Florida Fish House) and close to the beach on a bike ride. It is next door to bike rental too!

Nice and clean!

Loved this condo! We have stayed in various one in this complex and it was the one we loved the most. Super clean! No carpet! The bed sizes were good in all 3 rooms. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice

Beautiful home near pools and grill, small hike to beach and third pool,only problem is that breakers tripped constantly leaving jacuzzi not working, toaster not working and coffee pot not working but those were tiny problems.

Immaculate inside & out!

Photos do not do this property justice! Everything inside and out is so well maintained and comfortable. Truly enjoyed the spacious patio and comfortable furnishings. We used the bikes, paddleboarded, and enjoyed the beach and hot tubs every day. Our kids had the pools to themselves as they are freezing and nobody could brave them/not heated in March. Property is quiet and peaceful-beach is very private. Security was helpful and other families were respectful and quiet. Anything we needed was addressed immediately and remedied by vacasa staff. Loved our time here!

A true sanctuary by the sea!

Overall it was an amazing stay, the building was very quiet, and there was enough space and amenities for the whole family to enjoy. The only con with the building as a whole is pool rules and regulations. One of the best parts of vacation is a night swim, so it would be nice to be able to have the pool open until quiet hours at 10pm. Also, security does look at cameras throughout the day which is a good thing, but they are very serious about not having drinks by the pool. We witnessed a group being asked to leave over the issue. So if that is something that doesn’t align with your idea of a good vacation, this may not be the place for you.

Needs some attention

Oven burners not working, mold in the shower, patio door lock doesn’t work right, lack of blankets & the mattresses are very old & uncomfortable. Great location....this unit has been used a lot and needs some attention.

Nice Constuction fence

3 bedroom condo had everything you need except for poor AC in the master BR… not enough vents for the room. And the view off the deck was partially obstructed by a temporary construction fence erected during the year long exterior construction on the building. Everything else was up to par. We used the complimentary beach chairs daily and the pools/hot tub and fitness center.

Wonderful place but construction is happening

We loved this property and was aware there would be work on the balcony but did not know that would start with drilling at 800am and not end until 5pm, even on the weekend. Make sure no construction is happening before you book. We called after a day or two to get a credit so we could leave and no one called us back or emailed.

Awesome Location

The property was beautiful and overall was really nice. The only reason I gave it a 3 star is because it needs a deep cleaning and extermination. Upon arriving we found several dead bugs in corners and encountered a few live bugs while staying there. We also noticed that the front door was missing the threshold seal so this probably contributed to the bugs. We did notify the management company and they did address these issues in a timely manner. All in all, I would stay at this property again so long as these issues are addressed.

Beautiful spot

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Sanctuary by the Sea! It is a large complex but was very quiet! Our unit was beautifully decorated and such a nice size. We were on the first floor - I would like to be higher on our next visit to be able to see over the trees - but we loved the large balcony. The only complaint we have was how hot the master bedroom was - there is no air vent in the room!!! Only in the bath and hall outside the closet. Strange design, but it was nothing to ruin the trip. Also, the hot water in the master shower did not work - again very strange, all the other showers and sinks worked fine. Maintenance did not seem to think it was an issue - so we showered in the other showers. Overall, the trip was great! We would recommend the complex to anyone and will go back one day.

Quiet, Relaxed Condo with a lot of Amenities

First, this condo location in Sanctuary by the Sea is on a perfect stretch of 30A. It's not crowded, but within 10-15 minutes of shops and dining at Water Colors and Blue Mountain Beach areas. The condo we rented was perfect for our family (3 adults, 3 kids). There is plenty of space and all of the furnishings are comfortable and give the right vibes for a beachy getaway. We were amazed at the quantity of available bathrooms in the unit (everyone could shower at one time) and loved having the in-unit laundry. The resort itself was very quiet and our kids had their choice of any of the three pools. However, the pools are not heated and it was a bit chilly even for them in mid-October. Hot tubs were definitely running and HOT. Security at the condo was friendly and always present throughout the property. Cleaning crews were out every morning to service the pool areas and keep the public areas spotless. We loved the private beach access (about a 5 minute walk) and our rental came with beach service (2 beach chairs and an umbrella). The parking garage does not have enough clearance for a car topper on an SUV (Dodge Durango in our case). We were able to park in one of the few surface parking spots to unload and remove our topper and place it on the balcony of the condo. If the surface spots are available, you could just park there without removing the topper from your vehicle. The kids liked it, and wanted to come again. Very chill vibe and great for relaxing.

Quiet and beautiful, driving necessary

The beach is beautiful, the daily umbrella on the beach is a wonderful amenity. The pools are clean, pretty and not crowded. The unit itself has everything you might need, has a very practical floor plan and is very quiet. The big balcony is a great space to sit and read or chat and has seating for 8. Covered parking is convenient and carts provided for loading/unloading luggage make it seem effortless to get in and out. There is a bike path to Seaside / Watercolor or Redfish village, but it is too far to be practical in the heat of summer. Does require driving to any restaurants or stores.

Fun get away

Great location… so close to the beach and shops. Lots of room for our family of 5. Disappointed we didn’t know the bike trail toward Seaside is closed until March 2022/ threw a wrench into our activity plans. Add paper towels and garbage bags to your list of things to bring.

Poor air conditioning

The unit was very nice and clean but the air conditioner did not cool well and was 76-80 degrees for our entire stay in mid July. We kept the doors closed and followed all instructions as directed. Management came to check on the unit but offered no help in resolving the issue. We loved the view but it was a very long walk to the beach.

Good Condo

We enjoyed our stay here. There were a few issues with the condo. First, the dishwasher door was about to fall off of it, and it was improperly installed which made it not set flush in the opening, causing you not to be able to pull out the bottom rack. Some of the utensils in the kitchen need replacement because they are broken. The refrigerator had some broken compartments and made a weird noise like the motor was about to quit. The cooktop grill on the stove had a sign saying it was not useable. Overall, the location, view, and beach access was good. It just needs some maintenance issues addressed. The water color was not as ideal as previous locations we have stayed a bit farther west. I reported the issue with the dishwasher to maintenance and he said that he would discuss it with his supervisor and someone would get back to me. No one did! We would stay here again, but only if the problems are addressed.

Excellent!!!!

We stayed a week here. The property was beautiful and the people were very nice and helpful. And wow...the check in process was so easy. The only thing I could even begin to say about this place other than it is amazing is...the walk to the beach is quite a walk, but having chairs and umbrellas already set up on the beach for us was awesome. I would definitely stay here again. And...I can’t wait.

Lovely condo

This unit was very comfortable & nicely decorated. It overlooks the pool area. Would've given it 5 stars if it had a better view & was a little closer to the beach access. We had a small problem w/the new tvs that had recently been installed. Brogan, from Vacasa, was extremely responsive & helpful in getting the problem fixed right away!

Amazing property 10/10

The property is beautiful with all the amenities included. The unit was stunning, they must have just done a renovation, everything warmed new. The property management was on point. Had a few questions and they responded to everything quickly and with a since of urgency. I would highly recommend and we will be coming back! Thanks for sharing your little piece of heaven with us.
