Great Family Vacation Condo

After traveling on a long road trip to get to the beach. I found the bedding was so comfortable for our stay. 2 days of double red flags but we did the ShipWreck water park, the pool and did the dolphin and snorkeling tutor for 3 hours on shell island. My kids said it was best vacation ever. We also spotted dolphins from the balcony. This condo is in a less crowded area, very close to the pier. Also we woke up to beautiful view of the ocean from our room.

Fall break fun

We have stayed at Sterling Reef 3 years in a row. This is the first for room 505. All the layouts are all the same. We loved the extra beds in the 2nd bedroom. The condo was overall nice and Vacasa is always pleasant to deal with. There was however a lot of broken items and damage to the room. They were very quick to respond when we said our feet were black on the first day. They came back to mop but didn't use any chemicals or cleaners, only water. Again not make or break items but definately needs some attention. I know it must be very hard to keep everything in top shape and these were just our observations. We will be back at Sterling Reef in the future.

Amazing location. Unit a little disappointing

The good: The building is ideally situated for beach and restaurants. Highly recommend the location. The unit was disappointing. Broken television remote means no television in the family room. Very water damaged kitchen table. The kitchen was almost impossible to cook in and use. Only one small frying pan, one wine glass, 6 dinner plates which means the dishwasher would have been on constantly except the dishwasher top rack is broken. Beds just ok, not super comfortable. Bedding blankets are super thin which didn’t work for our December stay. Soaking tub was an Amazing feature but the faucet is broken so only the shower works. Floors dirty. The second bathroom has a worn toilet seat as mentioned in an earlier review. The family room furniture is comfortable and the patio furniture was nice. Just not the place for us.

Our Vacation Spot

The overall condo was very nice and spacious but could use some improvements like master bedroom (mattress ripped on edges, bedding didn’t fit properly, bed made a lot of noise just sitting up or making any slight movement, guest bathroom needs new toilet seat without gashes on the seat, curtain tie backs were needing to be secured to all as the screws were coming away from wall). The decor was very pretty, living room furniture was nice and comfortable.

Strict

The room was nice. The security and other staff were very friendly. Me and my husband both smoke and the only place on the property that you can smoke is the 3rd level parking garage terrace. It was extremely inconvenient. Would have made our stay a lot more comfortable if we could have smoked on the balcony. We will not stay at Sterling Reef again.

Definitely will be going back.

This was our first time in Pamama city, Florida and being right on the beach was perfect. The condo was very nice and clean. There was 6 of us and we had room to move around.

Beautiful Home

I Loved the views from the balcony, the decor and it was very clean. The only thing we didn’t like was only elevators on one side of the building. The waits at certain times were super long.

Nice vacation spot

Great location and nice rental. Kitchen is stocked pretty well. Nice pool area. Gym is nice but could use some housekeeping. Enjoyed our stay.

Nice Condo - A Few Items Need Attention

Overall it was a nice property, very clean and comfortable. We took a girls trip and planned to do some cooking. Our reservation was for 5 adults. There were only 3 coffee cups and minimal dishes, no mixing bowls, muffin pan, etc. We had to buy disposable coffee cups and muffin pan before we realized there are no bowls except cereal bowls. Also, we were counting on using the sofa bed - don't make that mistake. The mattress is unusable. When the reviews say that the elevators are slow, take note! There are only 2 elevators for 18 floors plus penthouse. The wait for the elevator when unloading and checking in was unbelievable. Every time we were waiting in line for the elevators, someone would mention how hard it had made their stay. Some people opted to use the stairs if they were staying on a lower floor. Some of our party did as well, but it's not feasible to do if you have bags to carry. We bought a wagon at Walmart just to haul in groceries so that we wouldn't have to hold bags while waiting for the elevator. The view is great and the condo is clean and comfy. The master bedroom bed is very comfortable as are the bunk beds.

Loved it.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and the condo was spacious. The ocean view was spectacular. It rained the first 3 days of our 5 day stay, but what do u expect in April? Panama has so much to offer, so if you ever decide to stay at Sterling Reef its a definite yes. I will be a return customer.

Great little vacation

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Condo was very roomy and spacious. Everything was clean and neat. Only thing I noticed was someone does an awful lot of frying foods. Some left over grease in the stove area and the silverware needed to be rewashed. Just little nit picky things that were not a big deal at all. Only complaint I have is there was no blender in the kitchen. Had to go buy one for frozen drinks. All and all it was a great place to stay and we will be back very soon!!

Great!

It was very clean and welcoming. We were only able to stay a couple days, but we arrived after our trip to Destin. This place was larger than we expected. It's even better than the photos! The view was fantastic. It was great being able to look at the sunrise in the morning from bed or the balcony. A couple things we noticed were: -The lock on the master balcony was missing. This wasn't a deal breaker since it was the 5th floor. It did make me a little nervous about neighbors climbing over and getting in, though. Never happened, but my worrying mom mind can get away from me. -The master bath door lock was broken (unable to turn). It was my family staying with me, so I was ok with that. -The hallway bathroom lock would unlock if the handle was turned (rendering the lock useless). It caused a slight issue with my children, but they're family so it was fine. -The washing machine would turn off mid cycle. I tried to turn it on twice and it wouldn't get to the spin or rinse setting, so I said forget it and accepted that we would wash our clothes when we returned home. -The elevators got crowded during peak times (lunch/dinner/after it rained), so being on the 5th floor was great! We could use the stairs better than those who stayed on the 18th floor! -If you go to bed early, expect to hear your neighbors stomping a little or slamming their doors. It's not the unit's fault, though. People need to be more considerate. -This place had everything I needed in the kitchen to make breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We were very pleased with how clean and tidy everything was. -Lastly, when we entered the room we were changing into our swimsuits. Our door was opened by a lady with a welcoming packet. No knock, nothing. She walked in without warning. My son was naked, but quickly hid when he noticed someone inside. It was definitely unexpected, but I'm chalking it up to us not going to the welcome desk prior to entering the room. All in all, I still rate this 5 stars. It was beautiful, convenient, and CLEAN. I appreciate the last bit more than you know.

Family Fun

Loved the view from this room, not too high. Very clean. Loved the keypad lock on the door so you don’t have to worry about keys when you go to the beach.
