Journeys End Chalet - minuter till Jay Peak!

Välkommen till Chalet Journeys End! Vi ligger bara en snabb 10 minuters resa från basen på Jay Peak Resort, hem till några av de bästa skidåkning och ridning i nordöstra. Stugan ligger på en vacker och privat 11 tunnland bara ett stenkast från den kanadensiska gränsen. Vi älskar alla hundar och din välskötta pälsvän är välkommen i vårt hem. Vi är belägna direkt på VAST-trail-systemet så ta med dig din snöskoter och njut!

Vår chalet med 2 sovrum har en öppen planlösning och ett rymligt loft med 2 dubbelsängar. Det stora sovrummet har en drottningssäng. Det finns också en bäddsoffa i vardagsrummet. Det finns två futons som ligger nere i mansgrottan som har en strålande strålningsvärme under de kalla vintermånaderna i Nordöstra kungariket. Det finns också ett biljardbord nere som är en gästfavorit. Det finns 2 platt-TV samt supersnabb WIFI som gästerna har tillgång till. Ta med din Netflix-inloggning och ha en mysig filmkväll! Huset har ett stort upphöjd däck som kan avnjutas året runt och är utmärkt att ta ute i naturen. Vi är belägna direkt utanför en stadsskötta grusväg och våra gäster har full tillgång till fastigheten och kan njuta av 11 privata trädbevuxna tunnland komplett med en utomhus eldstad.

My husband and I had some renovations in the house and had to get away for a week. What better way than to go to Vermont and just relax! :) We have 2 small dogs and finding properties that are suitable for them is always a bit of a challenge, but this one was perfect! Porch, high enough above the ground, so that they cannot escape and go after wildlife - perfect! Loft office for my husband so that he could work a bit - convenient. Dog beds all around - adorable. The property itself is perfect! It had everything we needed for our stay and more. The location is beautiful and we took nice walks around the area several times a day. It's also great for taking the dogs on their comfort breaks. There are many locals stores around, so you don't need to pack a whole lot. Make sure you visit the local brewery - the pizzas are amazing!We really enjoyed our stay here and we hope to come back again soon.

Peaceful Getaway

We decided to take a last minute trip to Vermont. We found this gem and couldn’t have had a better stay! Everything we needed was right here.

Back Road Gem

Wonderful property for a couples getaway or a friends trip to Jay Peak. The house was clean, spacious, and featured lots of unique amenities. We loved the loft beds, Game Room Basement, Fire Pits, wrap around porch, and the grill! We will surely be back. It was an added bonus that our beloved family pet was able to join us for the trip. Haleigh and Andrew were wonderful hosts that were easy to communicate with.

Journey's End is a wonderful place to stay. Booking and communication were excellent. The house is located comfortably outside of town but not too far...very quiet and peaceful. Everything you need is there and very clean. Recommended.

Perfect stay!

We had an awesome stay at this property. The home is well equipped and everything is intuitive. We did not need to contact the owners for any needs or questions during the stay. The property was clean, comfortable and well-furnished. Our pets were very happy there. The set up of the home is great for skiers - the entrance from the driveway is a lower floor that is heated and great for placing boots/equipment away from the general living/communal areas. Very well laid out. We would love to stay here again!! Thank you H & A!

Great house close to Jay Peak

The house was clean, well equipped and cozy. Jay Peak was only a short drive and the property offered privacy and a beautiful deck. We especially loved the lower level entrance that allowed us to lay out our gear to dry before packing it back up again. The game room was a bonus and had two extra futons for more guests. The best part......pet friendly! Our pups LOVED the house and yard. Communication with the owner was nearly instant and friendly. We will most likely book this house again next Thanksgiving :-)

Great private cabin, 12minutes from Jay's Peak

Cabin was nicer than the pictures, tons of space for the 6 of us (and a dog). The two fire pit areas and huge deck are great. Jay's peak was only only 12min away, and there was a nice little hike at the end of the dead end road.

Beautiful place

This place is amazing! We had a great time and enjoyed our stay to the last minute. The house is spacious, with a vary well stocked kitchen, comfy beds and a huge deck where we ate all our meals. We also had a lot of fun playing pool in the basement. There is tons of activities around, so it's really hard to get bored. We recommend a visit to the Jay Peak Resort and a cab ride to the mountain top. The views from there are stunning. We would give this property 6 stars if possible. We will gladly return next year. Great family vacation

We went as a group of 6 teenagers, 2 adults and 2 large dogs and had an amazing time! Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped and the house was very clean upon arrival. I would return and recommend without hesitation!

Great Ski Get Away!

We had an awesome stay and Anthony and Haleigh were extremely accommodating and easy to communicate with! Great location close to Jay Peak but it’s nice to escape the commotion of the resort at night and have your own comfortable retreat.

Mountain get-away

We had a wonderful time at Journey's End! The property, amenities, and home decor were lovely. There was not tons to do nearby in the summer, but we enjoyed some kayaking, lots of relaxing, hanging out by the fire pit, playing pool, and venturing into Newport VT and Magog QC.

We love Jay

This was a perfect setting - close to Jay Community Recreation Center (beautiful trails), our favorite hikes, and the property itself was beautiful! Very well maintained yard, outdoor shower, fire pits, hammock - all wonderful touches. Finished basement with pool table provided a cool and fun respite from the heat. Kitchen and bathroom well stocked, plenty of towels (thank you), and overall was exactly as owners described. It was a great place to spend 4 days soaking up VT NEK. Thanks so much!

Jay Peak weekend

The house was perfect for our weekend at Jay Peak. We have a couple of dogs so staying at Jay Peak wasn't an option. The place is very nicely updated and well maintained. It's a very easy 15 minutes to the mountain. Only downfall is we couldn't stay longer!

Great chalet close to great skiing

We stayed here for 5 nights with two teenagers and our Bernese Mountain Dog. Everything was perfect and dealing with the owners was a breeze. The chalet was modern and well appointed. Thanks.

Great ski vacation off the beaten path

Property was exactly as described and about an easy 15 minutes from Jay Peak. The house was well kept, had great views, and I much appreciated the complimentary coffee. My kids loved the dart board and running around outside in the snow. Wifi worked well, and the house had everything we were looking for during our family ski vacation. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Excellent ski house with great layout. Property was newer and very well maintained. Cleanest ski house we’ve ever stayed in including our own. Highly recommended. We had a very good trip and the hosts were terrific!

Great place near jay peak

Great place near jay peak, well located. As described. An other bathroom would have been great considering the fact that there’s 8 sleeping spot. We were 7 so it was inconvenient to only have one bathroom. Would have been nice to be able to use the indoor electric fireplace but it was locked.

Great house!

Everything went smoothly regarding check in, check out and communication. The house was great, just as pictured in photos. Clean house and a quick drive to Jay Peak!
