Option 2: The beach was wonderful, but the house itself was a complete disappointment. The carpets were heavily stained and should have been replaced long ago. Every time we turned on the oven, the smoke detectors went off before food was even inside. The icemaker was essentially useless. The cookware was so cheap and worn out that cooking was impossible—everything stuck no matter what we did.The posted “do not” signs plastered throughout the house were insulting and unwelcoming, making it feel more like a frat house than a vacation rental for paying guests. The grill was rusted, unsafe, and should have been thrown out years ago. To make matters worse, there was no access to standard television—only streaming, which was not disclosed. During football season especially, that’s unacceptable.Aside from decent deck furniture, the property failed across the board. I’ve been visiting Gulf Shores for 30 years, and this is only the second time I’ve ever felt compelled to leave a negative review. The glowing five-star reviews do not reflect the reality of this rental, and had I read an honest one, I never would have booked it.

Roomy nice house -love the couch! Plenty of dishes, towels, ice, supplies. Close walk to beach/ great balcony! Thanks for the opportunity to stay in your nice home.

Overall the property was nice. Remember this is a rental beach house used over and over. Would I recommend this house to rent - Absolutely!! One note is when we arrived, the pine straw had a good amount of dog poop there. We picked up after our dog but everyone should do the same.It's right on the beach(bonus) in a very family oriented location. Everyone respects your space on the beach and they didn't intrude on you space. Fishing not the greatest if you want to fish.Main attractions are about 12 minutes away.On the house - master is downstairs with 3 additional bedrooms upstairs. There is a well used charcoal grill on site and it does work. Bring paper towels, napkins, and TP so you have some during the week to use.Overall i would give an overall score of 9.5.

Perfect family beach house!

Loved, loved the location and the house. Everyone had their own space but also. Nice living room when we wanted to be together. The beach was so nice. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful view

The house layout was great for me and my family of 6 adults. The view of the Gulf is gorgeous, and we felt like we had the beach to ourselves. It’s a very quiet neighborhood, close enough to restaurants but away from the crowds in Gulf Shores.

Beach Paradise

Great location and house. Had the beach almost to ourselves. Had a small hiccup with internet connection for the first day and a half but resolved after that. Beautiful views from every room. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Fall break in Gulf Shores

Our family of 7 adults, 4 kids, and 2 small dogs enjoyed a great fall break in this house. It was comfortable, and the location is perfect. We loved being directly on the beach. The house itself is just fine. It was clean and plenty big enough for our big group, but it could really use some updating.

The location is awesome, very quiet. The beach is not crowded lots of room. This home has multiple bedrooms will accommodate 9 people easily. Parking area will accommodate several cars.

Lovely stay in March 2024

We had a wonderful time at this spacious spot for a long weekend (Wednesday-Sunday); with 12 people in our party. The house is right on the beach, with easy sand access and is pet friendly. The location is a perfect mix of quiet, not too crowded, but still drivable for dinner or food pickup. It is far enough from the busy strip that the night sky was dark and full of stars. The home was clean - but felt like a true rental; it was absent of some of the little things that are sometimes left behind by owners or previous guests - so be sure to pack your own salt, pepper, olive oil, coffee filters, beach towels, etc. We hope to stay here again in the future!

We loved everything about the house and location. Just steps away from the beach. The deck has very comfortable furniture. Could easily spend an entire afternoon out on the deck relaxing and enjoying the view. Plan to be back next year.

Beautiful home, complete disappointment.

My wife and I rented this home for the weekend as our first trip since having our 4 month old. The house location was great and the home aesthetically was nice but the whole home looked like it had not been cleaned in months. Furniture, bedding, floors you name it dirty. We reached out to Vacasa through text and reported the issues. They completely dropped the ball and had someone call us to offer new linens only after we had checked out. We were only offered $200 for our bad experience. We even sent various photos showing the filth. The bedding had stains and grime build up from not being washed. Are feet were black from walking around in the house. This was the story through out the home. Luckily we brough a blanket to sleep with. The towels were small, thin, scratchy and cheap with stains on them. VACASA customer service is a nightmare. I do not recommend. We were told the property manger would call us never heard from them.
