Detta vackert inredda 2-vÄningshus med 4 sovrum, 4 badrum ligger direkt pÄ Mexikanska golfens mousserande vatten. Vid havet ligger 4. 2 miles pÄ vÀstra stranden frÄn Hwy 59. Ligger pÄ bottenvÄningen finns vardagsrum och matplats, kök för att inkludera separat ismaskin, tvÀttstuga och en av de tvÄ master sviterna, drottning sovrum med privat badrum. De levande, matsal och kök Àr öppna och ganska rymliga. Golv till tak fönster och dörrar pÄ södra vÀggen ger underbar utsikt över viken och stora soldÀck.

Alla rum Àr Gulf Front med privata badrum och balkonger. TvÄ master sviter (ett pÄ första vÄningen och en pÄ andra vÄningen) med dubbla fÄfÀngligheter, promenad i duschar och soaker badkar. We Won’t be a return customer because the Dunes are too high, Internet spotty at best, air conditioning not up to par in upstairs bedrooms - the downstairs areas and bedrooms were very clean and comfortable- kitchen was clean and had most everything you would need - we had a great time and spent a lot of time on the beach but high dunes and no board walk - we knew there would be no board walk, but the photos are mis leading when it comes to the hight of the dunes - which are not easy to climb for older folks -the beach can’t be seen from the living areas except on the top floor-Overall it was a good experience- just a few minor things that were disappointing-

The house was Beautiful and perfectly located. The kitchen was stocked efficiently. The bedrooms were comfortable and cozy. Bathrooms were very clean. The loft area was perfect for the kids to hang out and play games. Twin bedroom was perfect for the kids. Check in and out was easy. Lisa was a great hostess

House was nice. Kitchen equipped. Beds comfortable. Could have used a little more water pressure in shower but no big deal. Only negative was large groups of people coming from across the street walking directly in the back yard of house and parking their entire families directly in front of the chairs we had rented. The whole beach was open and they literally sat directly in front of us. They rented bay side houses but wanted beach front access I suppose.

Great peaceful location

The house was perfect for our family. Our son and his family had the upstairs and we were downstairs. It was a perfect location to be near our other family. I never get tired of the view of the water so peaceful. We love the beach and can’t wait to come back again.

Wow, what a trip!

This beachfront home was a vacation to remember! Beaches were quiet and empty. Lisa Ray was responsive and great to deal with. She went the extra step with the little touches she adds to make your trip memorable. This is a trip my girls will be talking about for years to come. Plenty of space! Very beautiful house with views of the ocean in every room. The house had everything you need for a week or longer. Even though you had houses right next to you, the beach was very private. Lisa stayed in touch the entire stay. We would love to stay again.

Fantastic time!

Everything was as advertised! We contacted the host a couple times and she was very quick to respond and solve our issue. Very private on the beach, we saw dolphins jumping, stingrays, lots of crabs and seashells. The grandkids loved it all.

Nice Family Vacation

Our family had a nice time at Gulf Shores. It’s easy to enjoy being right on the beach. The house we stayed at had a great layout with all rooms facing the ocean as well as two master bedrooms - a big plus. There was also plenty of beach chairs available so we did not have to rent them and the deck had some newer furniture that was not shown in the booking photos.That said our review rating is a little lower because we did notice some maintenance opportunities that would make this an even better experience. Top Few:1. The dining and family rooms have furniture with upholstery that is worn or losing support. 2. Rusty furniture on the deck could be removed, since there is newer furniture already available.3. Prune items from the kitchen/beach closet to include choiceful items that are in great condition. The beach closet was so full we could not access much of what was in there and some items were rusty/broken. Suggest addition of drinking glasses, though there are many mugs available.4. The water hose to wash off sand was leaking and the system was duct taped to a pole. 5. One of the windows looking out at the ocean was dirty or damaged - which was noticeable anytime you look at the ocean.6. The owner has a video camera on the deck - a pro or con for some.

Amazing Family Get Away

This was the greatest place my family has ever stayed. We travel the entire US. Our amazing host gave us all imperative infomation on a timely manner. As we explored the beautiful house there was a note with a varity of snacks. As we opened the fridge there was a bottle of wine.. this was such a great experience for my kids and

Best beach house!

We loved the ocean view from every bedroom, living room and loft! The host had a basket of snacks and treats waiting for us! There were beach chairs and toys for us to borrow as well as corn hole boards for our family championship! We hope to go back soon.

Destination wedding

We stayed a week here for a destination wedding for our daughter the house was great the beach was beautiful definitely would stay again. The size was perfect for my family.

I am Phyllis Campbell the owner of By The Sea. My husband and I are from North Alabama and have had a beach get away for 30 plus years. We started on the Florida Coast then inched our way to the Alabama Gulf Coast with the purchase of our first property in Alabama in the eighties.

We love the privacy and convenience of west beach and fell in love with this home which we affectionately named “By The Sea”. We used the home for many years as our family's second home, also for family reunions as well as both our daughter's weddings.

Our daughter, Lisa Ray, lives locally and manages the rentals on our beach home.
