We had such a great time at Terranea for a wonderful quick trip. Everything was great except the weather. It was cold and rainy for June. I’m used to “the June Gloom” from when I lived in Rancho Palos Verdes but sadly the clouds never left. Terranea has so many amazing activities to do and restaurants to eat inside that there was never a dull moment.

Excellent

Always love coming to Terranea and staying in a room with a view. Something about waking up in the morning and walking onto a patio and gazing at the ocean. We saw some dolphins on our last day too. Casitas offer more privacy which I prefer. Thanks to Beth.

Oceanfront beauty

Beautiful property with gorgeous Pacific ocean views. Resort access with tons of amenities, this place is a true gem. 6 restaurants, 4 pools, trails, activities and more. Cant wait to stay here again.

Great stay! Check in was slightly delayed but they comped and made up for it totally. Parking was a little challenging due to the popularity of the result but we were always able to find a spot. Great resort pool and amenities.

Everything was perfect. The room was better than advertised—pictures don’t do it justice! I booked through VRBO so I could pick the exact view and the view didn’t disappoint. Everything at the resort was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

Terrific Stay

This was my 2nd time staying in one of Beth’s Casitas. This one was more breathtaking than the last. The only hiccup was the balcony door was stuck from prior maintenance. Beth was very responsive and maintenance was there to fix in no time. Other than that it was an absolutely fabulous stay.. I wish I could have stayed an additional night. Cant wait to return. Thank you Beth!

Perfect oasis

The condo at Terranea was a resort vacation at its best. You have all the amenities of the hotel including the beach, pool, hikes, and paid excursions. You can borrow the convertible Lexus or SUV for three hours to go for your own experience. (Reserve in advance with concierge). Sea beans is a perfect place to grab a quick breakfast, but go early! Their gelato is great too! The spa - amazing, classes daily to exercise, or take a swim, the perfect spot to exercise overlooking the ocean. Make sure to hike or see if they can shuttle you off property to the Yellow Vase for brunch(by Trader Joe’s and Starbucks). There is a fridge in the condo, so we grabbed some snacks and fruit for the kiddos! You can also taxi over to Long Beach to the aquarium and lighthouse (30 minutes). Expect to walk, the condo is just next to the end of the hotel, but walking is needed to get to any amenities! We ate at Nelsons and it was hit or miss, the seafood salad was the best option, the pool side food is just as expected but good! The spa menu is healthy and grab a carry out. Catalina kitchen and Bashi are great options too. Make sure to make reservations in advance. All the amenities are expensive, but that’s to be expected at this five star resort! Don’t hesitate to book this amazing vacation! Thank you to Beth who helped with all my questions and worked with me to shorten one day because of an unexpected wedding back home!

Lovely Casita for our family

We booked this casita last minute and could not be happier. The view was lovely. The casita is located on the edge of the casita buildings near the Vista Pool and Marsel. It is a bit of a walk to the other restaurants but that’s to be expected on such a large property. We had meals at several of the restaurants on the property and they were all excellent! Our only issue was all the activities on property were already booked before we even got there. So book those before your stay! The pool is heated just enough to take the edge off of the cooler spring wind. The spas were hot! The pool areas were clean and had plenty of servers to bring you whatever you needed. Our only issue with the room was with the balcony slider being difficult to open. We let Beth know so hopefully they can fix it. Other than than we loved the room and property! We will be back!

Great stay!!

What a perfect place overlooking the ocean!! The casita was clean, quiet and well stocked with towels. Loved having access to an outdoor fireplace - but you share it with two other rooms, although this was never a problem. I can’t wait to stay here again.
