Matched our needs

This home offered a great space for our family to get away for a few days. The home was clean and linens and towels were provided. The kitchen was well stocked. The community was quiet and allowed for a restful and relaxing time.

Great Thanksgiving Stay

Property was exactly as described. Perfect place for our family to spend Thanksgiving. King bed upstairs was extremely comfortable. Plenty of seating for everyone.

Great weekend getaway

My family enjoyed staying at this home to visit our daughter at JMU for Easter weekend. Home is very cute and clean. Great communication with the owner.

Fit our needs well!

We were in town for a funeral, and it was a perfect location for all of our needs. Very easy to get in and out of-not super deep in the resort. The home itself was very roomy, but yes, a little dated. The basement was good to have a separate area, but be aware the toilet and sink are quite low!!! Got a workout! My main recommendation would be we needed extra blankets. It was cool this weekend and all beds had very light blankets on them. We were all cold, but didn’t want to crank the heat. Wish we would have had some simple necessities like salt and pepper. Other than that, very nice and a very quiet spot. Would definitely stay here again.

JMU Graduation

House was very nice and the location was great for traveling back and forth to JMU. House was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with the basics that we needed.

Birthday family weekend trip!

We really enjoyed our stay. House was very clean, comfortable and very homey feeling! The only thing (not a complaint at all) my 2 teenagers stayed in the basement and didn’t like there was no TV. Plenty other TVs in the house so no big deal but they certainly would have loved a TV down there. Overall, we had an amazing stay and will definitely rent again. Thanks Amanda!

Delightfully comfortable

Myself, husband and son were the primary renters. My sister and inlaws joined us. There was ample space and we all had our own bathrooms. Spacious kitchen with sufficient dishware and Tupperware for leftovers was a huge plus. Nice deck to share with woodpeckers and deer in the morning while we sipped coffee. The beds were comfortable too. There were extra towels, blankets and pillows if needed for extra comfort. Easy in and out of the complex as we had additional family staying at woodstone. Highly recommend!

Feel at home!

Im a hiker, rented a cabin many times, but this is a perfect like home sweet home! We enjoyed so much! Very cozy and clean. Kids loves it. Definitely we will come back to this house. Thank you Amanda. Madeline

Beautiful Location

Comfortable home for a family. Check in was Initially a challenge as we could not locate the directions on the website. However, once we arrived at the home I was able to get in touch with the property manager to get the information needed to gain entry. Issue with the central AC not working and we were not made aware of this prior to arrival. 2 window units were running, but room in basement was still warm and the units were very loud. Loved the deck and furniture provided!
