Välkommen till Casa Azul, mellan två av de äldsta och mest typiska stadsdelarna i Lissabons centrum: ALFAMA och MOURARIA
Casa Azul erbjuder en fantastisk utsikt över flera synpunkter på stadens centrum, det är nära BAIXA och ett stenkast från Castelo de São Jorge.
Casa Azul är en duplexlägenhet belägen på tredje våningen i en typisk Mouraria-byggnad, och helt renoverad men utan hiss.
Dess lugn kommer att försäkra dig om en total vila. Det har 3 sovrum som kombinerar portugisisk tradition och modernitet med dubbelsängar. Alla sängkläder tillhandahålls.

Nous avons apprécié la disposition du logement sur deux étages avec ses 3 chambres et surtout la belle vue sur Lisbonne. Cependant, il faut savoir que les escaliers de l’immeuble sont très ardus pour s’y rendre, soyez avertis.Du côté négatif, l’entretien laisse à désirer : certains draps étaient tachés, le matelas de la chambre à l’étage également, et une poignée de porte n’était pas bien fixée. Les fans de salle de bain ne fonctionnaient pas, et dans la cuisine, nous avons trouvé de la vaisselle encore sale dans les armoires.En résumé, le logement a du potentiel et une belle disposition, mais un entretien et un nettoyage plus rigoureux seraient nécessaires pour améliorer l’expérience.

The good:The location is in walking distance to many great areas.The apartment was large enough for our family of five, with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms.The unit itself has a lot of potential, however...The bad:The area is mostly safe, though there is one or two roads leading to the unit that feel sketchy. We were on our way back one night and a Portuguese driver stopped his car to tell us the street we were about to go down leading to the home was not safe. There were other routes that we could take though.The unit itself has a lot of potential, but the furnishings and sheets feel all like whatever second hand goods were available. Wasn't a big deal as we didn't spend much time in the unit and what was there was functional.The Ugly:2nd night in upon coming back to the unit, we found what looked like little cockroaches by the lower bathroom shower. It's definitely an older building, so had hoped it was a one off. Killed the ones we were able. The following nights though, same issue. 3-4 bugs in the bathroom.On our last night, the lower bathroom lock failed to open, trapping my wife in the restroom for 45 mins. It's an old key style lock and we tried the key from both sides of the door with no luck, wouldn't budge. Tried calling the host. The French area code number on VRBO seemed to not work as listed. Got them on text but they were not helpful. Was to the point of calling emergency or knocking on neighbors doors for help, but was finally able to force it open.

Family stay with teenagers in Lisbon July 2025

The property is in a great location for access to local cafes, shops and bars. Its a short walk to the Metro and other modes of transport. The appartment was clean and comfortable and a great base for getting around Lisbon.Beware of all the hilly streets though when it comes to getting luggage to appartment.We had a very enjoyable stay and made some great memories.

Though the apartment was beautiful and had the essentials, the lack fans was a huge problem. We could not get the apartment cool enough even with leaving the shutters closed all day and windows open at night. A better description and number of stairs would have been helpful. We found the stairs narrow and somewhat steep.

This apartment is in an amazing location where we were able to walk easily to different neighborhoods or access public transportation. The owner provided excellent instructions and the place was spotless upon arrival. The only issue we encountered was that it was difficult to cool the place down on the hotter days - especially the upstairs bedroom as the apartment is not air conditioned. A lovely space with all you need for a great stay.

Wonderful spacious apartment

This apt is spacious and updated on the inside. It is a good location with groceries, cafes, and restaurants within a 15 min walk. It is difficult to get luggage up the stairs to the apt, but there is a wonderful view out of the bedroom windows. We loved it!

The apartment was lovely and the location was perfect! It was super easy for us to walk everywhere. It was close to the metro and close to the train station so that we could take a side trip to Sintra.

Great location

Casa Azul is in a great location for walking to great viewpoints as well as the Metro. Brigida was quick to respond to any questions. The checkin process was super easy. Lots of room for the three of us. Nice to have the laundry available.

Wir haben zu fünft in der Casa Azul die perfekte Unterkunft gefunden. Sehr geräumig, sauber, gute Betten, zentral in der Altstadt, dennoch ruhig. Einkaufsmöglichkeit in der nächsten Umgebung ( Lidl und die sehr gute Bäckerei daneben-10 Min zu Fuß).. wir kommen gerne nochmals

Spacious apt, good location

The apartment is very spacious with three bedrooms and plenty of room to relax. It was a short walk to various key locations and landmarks. The place was clean and the check in process with the owner was very easy. However, it was unfortunate that one bedroom was leaking and we had to put a pot to keep the floor from getting wet. It did not make for a good night's sleep. The power continually went out. Yes there was a sign not to use two items at a time. However, cooking was made difficult when you could not use the stove and oven simultaneously. Even when you had just the kettle on, the power went out. If these issues could be fixed, this place would be amazing.

Der Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung war super. Wir haben allerdings weder gefrühstückt noch haben wir zu Abend gegessen, deshalb können wir über die Einrichtung der Küche nicht viel sagen. Bei Fragen an die Besitzerin musste man nicht lange auf eine Antwort warten. Wir würen sie direkt wieder buchen. Vielen Dnk

Peaceful place

My family and I stayed here for four nights. It was perfect for us. It was spacious, well decorated, clean and comfortable. We loved it! It was on a hill outside of town so it was lovely and quiet. It was also well located so that we could reach everything with ease. Thank you so much - we had a great time.

The entire family got sick one by one because of the electricity problem.This property should NOT be rented to people until the owner addresses the heating and electrical problems. We rented this place during winter time to spend Christmas and New Year in Lisbon. This place does not have central heating system and it gets warmed up using stationary electrical, portable electrical and gas (tank) heaters; therefore, it gets extremely cold. The stationary electrical heater (electrical chimney) does not provide enough heat to warm up all rooms downstairs and upstairs. If you use chimney with portable heater, the electrical fuse trips right away. The apartment does not have a carbon monoxide detector so you have to be careful when using the gas heater because after a while you experience headache and other symptoms of CO poisoning. The electrical fuse also trips when you use stove or hair dryer or kettle or simply turn dishwasher and TV at the same time. If the oven is on and the TV and lights in the bathroom are on, the fuse will trip. It was a nightmare staying there. We all got sick during this stay and instead of celebrating Christmas holidays, we all got crashed in bed because of the cold.We paid 6K for our tickets to Europe we paid almost 2K to stay for 13 days in Lisbon and we had HORRIBLE vacation because of the apartment.
