1 Tullochclury är ett parhus (ägare bredvid) ligger en halv mil ner en skogsbana med promenader, cykling och mountainbike från ytterdörren!
Den här egenskapen är idealiskt beläget för touring de skotska högländerna med Inverness 12 minuter med bil, och Cairngorm National Park bara några minuter bort.
Området är perfekt för vilda djur med många arter av fåglar samt röda ekorrar som besöker trädgården mataren. Om du gå 300 yds längs spåret du kommer till den vackra Moy Loch där du kan ha kul spotting uttrar och fiskgjuse konkurrerar om öring.
Huset är varmt och mysigt med centralvärme och en braskamin (ved ingår) och så är bekväm som helst på året. Det finns ett badrum (med dusch över badkaret) samt ett våtrum (dusch endast)
En kort bilresa bort Dolphins kan ses från stranden eller det finns delfinsafari båtturer från Inverness.
Tomatin Destilleriet är 3 miles away där turer i destilleriet är väl värda ett besök.

Rest, walks and day trips in the Highlands

The home was comfortable, gracious and a perfect setting for quiet time, long walks and day trips to highlights of the Highlands. We visited Loch Ness, Dunrobin castle, Inverness and Aviemore, but also enjoyed the fields and trails available right out the front door. A lovely home ina locely spot.

Dream Holiday

John and Di’s home in Loch Moy was the definition of a dream. The location is very central to many highlands landmarks and the home is the coziest long stay we have ever experienced. Our stay was peaceful and euphoric - between the wonderful views of the wee lambs and the beautiful landscape, we couldn’t have asked for a better place. John and Di are also a beyond lovely couple, they are kind and generous with their time (as we are yappers) and shared some great tips with us! The house is located on great walking trails dotted with so much unique flora and trees that we spent most of our days at the house in the brush, identifying flowers. We absolutely loved our time at John and Di’s and cannot wait to plan our next stay if they will have us! Thank you so much to our wonderful hosts.

Great location for family vacation

This was our first trip to Scotland and we had our 4 boys along for the adventure. House was perfect and made for a great central location for our planned day trips. John and Di are excellent hosts!

Perfect Stay

The home was just as lovely as its description. Maybe even better. The hosts were welcoming and so sweet. Meeting our arrival with a welcome spread that was delicious, extra books to read and a fishing pole for our son who loves to fish. The house was very clean, which is important to us. The location was stunning and not too far from eating and shops in Inverness. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely cottage at all

This cottage is better than the photos promise. Clean. well equipped, almost a Wild Life Zoo at the house with the birds, cows, birds, squirrels, pine Martins, sheep……wonderful place to stay next door to lovely and helpful John and Di!

Very lovely cottage and lots of things to see around

If you love to be in the nature and to calm down - than this is a lovely place to watch wildlife (deers, squirrel, birds,.. ) and lots of sheeps with their baby lambs. The highlands with lots of possibilities are nearby, but also Inverness and the isles in the north. The owners John and Diana gave us a very warm welcome. Thank you very much!

Lovely home in nature

The home exceeded our expectations. It was so well equipped and in a lovely natural setting. The bed rooms were comfortable and perfect for our group. We were able to easily cook in the kitchen and the dish washer made clean up easy. My elderly mom enjoyed being able to sit in the sunny dinning room and enjoy the birds, squirrels and even a pine Martin in the back garden. We went for walks to the loch and watched the sheep and bunny’s in the field. The home is close to so many interesting sites. We went to Loch Ness, Culloden Moore, Cairngorm National park, Inverness. John was a friendly and host and made the stay very pleasant. I highly recommend this home and area for a visit.

PERFECT IN EVERY WAY

I took months looking and thinking about where I wanted to stay. I saw maybe 30 that I thought might work. A short time before leaving I sat down and looked at all of them again and this one spoke to me as a top choice. I told myself "I am going to say yes and fill out the forms and if it comes back to me as available I am taking it" It came back a yes, and I could tell it was going to be good from the way the owner wrote back. Upon arriving, it was everything and more I could have wanted. We all loved every minute there. PS We are very seasoned travelers.

Fantastic Property

This is a truly impressive house. The short title of the listing is absolutely correct; it is a stunning location. You are practically in your own forest with a Loch just a minute's walk. There are lots of walks around the house, and it is completely peaceful. There is an abundance of wildlife in the garden, including pheasants, Red Squirrels and hundreds of birds. We also saw the odd deer and a couple of sheep (although the owner encouraged the latter to return to their field!). The house is an ideal base for the highlands. Inverness is 20-minutes away, which gives you access to Loch Ness and the Black Isle. You also have easy access to Speyside and the Cairngorms. There is so much to see around here. The house has everything you can possibly need. It is immaculate inside and Jon was incredibly friendly, making sure everything was fine for us. We will return to this house. We had an amazing time. It is a place that would be ideal to relax, but similarly is a base to do lots of exploring and then relax in the evening, watching the clouds go by and the colours changing as the sun sets.

Ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit freundlichen Vermietern in einer atemberaubenden Umgebung

Das Ferienhaus liegt trotz naher Autobahn sehr ruhig und naturnah. Wir konnten mehrfach täglich drei Eichhörnchen, zwei Fasane und viele verschiedene Vögel vom Esstisch aus beobachten. Zudem liegt der Loch Moy direkt um die Ecke, ist schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen und lädt zum Angeln ein oder man wandert um ihn herum. Es ist eine traumhafte Landschaft. Das Haus ist sehr sauber sowie sehr liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und man findet alles was man braucht. Unsere drei Kinder (5, 0, 0) und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Trotz der gemeinen Midges musste jeden Tag im Garten gekrabbelt und Fußball gespielt werden, bis es wegen der Midges nicht mehr zu ertragen war. Die Vermieter sind unglaublich freundlich und herzlich und haben uns sogar Brot, Wein, Chips und selbstgemachte Marmelade als Überraschung in die Küche gelegt. Sie wohnen direkt nebenan und stehen bei Fragen oder Problemen immer zur Verfügung. Wenn sich jemand darum sorgen sollte, dass es komisch sein könnte, dass die Vermieter direkt nebenan wohnen, dann können wir bedenkenlos versichern, dass es gar nicht auffällt. Wir fanden es sehr angenehmen und haben uns gefreut, wenn wir die Vermieter nach einem Spaziergang getroffen haben und mit ihnen Smalltalk halten konnten. Von dem Ferienhaus aus sind viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zwischen 30 min und 1 h sehr gut zu erreichen. Es gibt so unglaublich viel zu sehen, dass unsere neun Tage wie im Flug vergangen sind und eigentlich viel zu kurz waren. Wir kommen wieder.

Sehr schön

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt in traumhafter Lage. Alles sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber und selbst gemachte Marmelade gab es auch. Wir würden diese Unterkunft auf jedenfall weiter empfehlen oder noch lieber selbst wieder kommen !

Aufenthalt bei Jon Nähe Loch Moy

Jon war ein sehr netter Ferienwohnungsbesitzer. Wenn ich eine Frage hatte, konnte ich immer zu ihm kommen. Er gab mir auch Ausflugstipps. Toll fand ich die Sachen zu essen, die wir vorfanden. Etwas umständlich war das Schloss, das wir öffnen mussten, wenn wir zur Ferienwohnung kommen wollten und wegfahren wollten, aber Pille-Palle.

We loved staying at the beautiful country house in the woods! It was a convenient location and the hosts were outstanding! We enjoyed taking walks in the wooded lane and the home itself had everything you could possibly need. The owners could not have been more helpful!

Ein tolles Haus in sehr ruhiger Umgebung

Obwohl unser sowieso sehr kurzer Aufenthalt durch mehrere unglückliche Ereignisse weiter verkürzt wurde, war es uns jeden Tag eine Freude in dieses Haus zurück zu kommen. Es wartete eine tadellose Wohnung inklusive Gesellschaftsspielen, einem gefüllten Bücherregal, 2 sauberen Badezimmern (oben Badewanne, unten Dusche) und einem Wasserdruck, wie wir ihn in Großbritannien noch nie erlebt haben. ;-) Mit viel Liebe zum Detail wurde wirklich an alles gedacht. Die Besitzer waren sehr herzlich, hilfsbereit und haben uns unseren Aufenthalt wirklich wortwörtlich versüßt. So wartete bei Ankunft bereits ein kleines Welcome-Package auf uns und die Kinder wurden eines Tages beim Spielen mit einem Eis überrascht. Ein besonderes Highlight war die Futterstation für Vögel und Eichhörnchen direkt vor dem beheizten Wintergarten mit Esstisch. So hatte man zu jeder Mahlzeit ausreichend Unterhaltung. Sogar ein Fasan und ein Wiesel kamen fast bist zum Fenster. Gerne empfehlen wir diese wunderbare Unterkunft und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Liebe Di, Lieber Jon, Vielen Dank!
