I got to be a mom again

My mother and I had a great time visiting my son for his 23rd birthday! He stays in a small apartment so we decided to stay here so we had room to just hang out. The house was comfortable and had everything we possibly could need. It was quiet and close to all kinds of stores and restaurants. It was wonderful just to hang out with my boy, celebrate his birthday and cook him a birthday breakfast. We will stay again if we are coming to the area.

Birthday Celebration!

Fantastic Stay!!!

The property was very spacious and had everything you may need! The kitchen and bathrooms had everything from hot sauce to shampoo. The cookies were ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!

Great location, great rental

We had a great time at Marida's house in Murfreesboro. It is a great space with plenty of room and super comfortable beds. We would definitely stay at this house again next time we are in town. Thank you!!

Comfortable

Comfortable home with a few nice touches (coffee/tea station). Outside could use some TLC. Dirty or broken outdoor furniture and just not the same vibe as inside. Certainly does not ruin the stay, but a little disappointing. A little surprised and initially concerned by the bars on the windows as we arrived at night, but did not encounter any problems. Quiet neighborhood.

Great house and location. Just note that this is the bottom floor of a split house.

Loved this location and house. Very clean and neat interior. About 5 minute drive to everything, 40 minutes to downtown Nashville. Our only complaint was that we had no idea that the house was a duplex. The top floor is rented out separately, and this rental is the whole bottom floor. We were on a trip as someone’s last weekend before moving out of the country, and had no idea we would have to be quiet at 9pm due to sharing the house. Just beware when booking, that quiet hours begin at 9pm every day, and you will most likely have upstairs neighbors during your stay.

Cute little home, great decor. Host is excellent, thoughtful, and cared about our needs. Surprisingly quite neighborhood close to everything. There are a few maintenance items that could be updated but a great stay overall!

We will be back

The blue door cottage was really centrally located to everything we were in town to do! Beds were GREAT! Fully stocked kitchen so we were able to prepare meals. A pack and play for our granddaughter and so much more.

Blue Door Cottage

We had an enjoyable stay at the Blue Door Cottage. I was visiting my daughter for three days just before she moved from Nashville to California. It was a perfect mother-daughter weekend! There were many lovely touches, like two big comfy couches, couch throws, toiletries, and cookies. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The hosts were gracious, had excellent communication, and allowed an early check in as my flight arrived in the early morning. There were a couple of very minor issues, but I will address them privately with the hosts. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Between their adorable home, treats, and dinner recommendations, we had the best weekend moving my sister into her apartment in Murfreesboro. Merida made the process very easy and enjoyable. We will be sure to stay there again when we visit her!

We are a true Southern family and pride ourselves on welcoming everyone and never meeting a stranger! We love to take our boys on adventures, sometimes with a just few hours notice. Because of that, we really appreciate when we find great accommodations whether with friends or at a warm, cozy VRBO, which is why we want to make sure ours is just that!

Aside from traveling, we love music and have fun taking our boys (ALL 4!) to festivals in the warmer weather (which is sometimes January around here)! When we travel, we are always on the lookout for good food and local hangouts so, rest assured, you won't get the "tourist trap" recommendations from us. ;)

We like to live life to the fullest...making each moment count!
