Gorgeous Luxury Beach Home Casa Keenan

Casa Keenan is a very secure and private home located in Jacó's nicest neighborhood, Barrio Ricos y Famosos. It has a private swimming pool with a large adjoining rancho for socializing and cooking outside, complete with a propane BBQ.

Inside, the house has vaulted wood ceiling in the living room and imported Pella windows throughout for great sound and weather insulation. The house is cooled throughout with mini-split air conditioners. Each shower also features an energy-efficient, on-demand hot water shower.

Two bedrooms and bathrooms are in the main house (at opposite sides of the house for greater privacy) and the third bedroom and bathroom is detached for added privacy and is great for extended families coming to visit.

Our home has a 8kW photovoltaic solar system to keep the electric consumption down in spite of having many electrical creature comforts such as the air conditioning, on-demand hot water and a clothes dryer.

The house is equipped with 4 bicycles and body and surf boards so that guests can really have fun in Jacó!

The house can comfortably accommodate up to 11 people. It has secure off-street parking and laundry facility on-site.

We provide excellent concierge's service and can arrange your transportation, recommend restaurants and activities and get you discounts on a multitude of tours.

Relaxing Time!

It is a beautiful house, completely private, located in a quiet neighborhood without noise.With the necessary meals for a relaxing trip on the beach. Super recommended!

Casa Keenan is in a nice location

Our 3rd rental in Barrio Ricos y Famosos; my husband speaks Spanish & this area is nice. Large Casa; pool at the front door is very, very small. Car parking is by the pool. Washer/Dryer in Casita is great but I'd never use casaita as it has issues with termites & mold. There is no breeze in the BBQ/pool area because of the 8-10' wall. BBQ needs some work; we weren't able to use it. The Palm trees & small patch of grass is the only landscape. Most Casas in this neighborhood have large pools lots of flowers, trees, lush green access areas. Losing power is a "given" in C.R.; not having a manual over-ride to get your car out can be an issue.1 window in each bedroom has view of pool; front door has view. All other windows have view of cement wall/Casita. We asked for but never got access to safe. Privacy is not a given. Knew when pool guy comes; we were not given a heads-up about maintenance showing up. We came home & front door was open. Elden was great as he helped with a slow toilet. He & son have keys to all of the property. 2 times this happened; they offer to leave. NOT knowing when someone would come into your rented property is something we've never experienced in 8 years of renting in C.R. Kitchen is small & dark; husband replaced a light we asked to be fixed; I cook most meals & needed lighting. Stepping outside of the property you get a nice breeze; we walked to the nearby Soda Garabito & a bakery. Our 8th trip to C.R.; Jaco is not the same. Keep safe.
