This is a beautiful, very comfortable house in a very pretty location on Pickerel Lake. It is easy access to Highway J and convenient to both St. Germain and Minocqua. The host was always prompt and helpful when needed.

Wonderful place, fantastic host, and had everything we needed. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. We did not have time to enjoy the fireplace or the fire pit, but that was only because the georgeous trails kept us busy hiking. Loved it!

Great Lake view - walk across street to trails to hike and great views . A little close to the highway as we could hear trucks and such but master bedroom is not near the road. All in great place

Beautiful location. Right off a busy road, but at night you couldn’t hear traffic. Everything was very clean. Beds were quite comfortable. I didn’t score an excellent because the queen guest room didn’t have a TV, the king guest room didn’t have curtains on the window so at night light came in. Also, the fireplace in the living room is not for use and I was so looking forward to a nice fire. Communication with the property owner was very fast and they were very kind.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home on the lake. The views of the lake from inside were great. We enjoyed fishing from the pier, use of the canoe and kayak and of course, swimming with our grandkids. Wildlife was plentiful, ranging from deer to beavers and a porcupine (!) and multiple bald eagle sightings. The location of the Home was extraordinarily convenient to Saint Germain, and just a slightly longer drive to Minocqua. A five minute walk across the highway gave access to the Rainbow Flowage and its peacefulness. Martin and Brandon were responsive hosts though we really didn’t need to reach out much. All in all a great experience

Very beautiful lake home. We really enjoyed our stay. Fishing was decent and we were able to pull tubes around with our kids with minimal boat traffic. Good time! Only minor notes, we had to empty and put away dishes in the dishwasher and fold and put away a load of towels from the previous guests. Firewood was empty but was available to purchase in town. Host was responsive and checked in with us.Thank you for a nice family get away!

Great Vacation

The cabin is beautiful. Great location right on the water with a great place to fish. Everyone in the family had a great time. Hopefully we make it back next year.

Simply Wonderful

Truly a wonderful experience at the Pickerel Lake Cabin. Perfectly located between Green River and Minocqua, while still relatively private location. The cabin was perfect size for a medium to large group as well as if a couple wishes for a private getaway. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay

Beautiful home and the owners were great to work with! Everything that we needed was provided. Our kids had a great time whether swimming in the lake or catching fish off the pier(which they caught lots!). We had a great time. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had and were very flexible. Would most defiantly stay at this property again!

The home is very well equipped, spacious and clean. Great for larger families or groups. It is located to a fairly busy road like others have pointed out, but it didn’t take away from our experience. Very easy checkout process compared to some properties I’ve rented. I’d recommend it for larger families who like all the modern conveniences while still feeling like you’re at the lake.

Dream vacation.

Seamless booking and efficient communication. The house was exceptionally clean, welcoming and cozy. Plus the beds are extremely comfortable. Also having all the amenities that this house has was perfect for a relaxing vacation. The views are absolutely breathtaking. The locations ideal because it’s nice and quiet but a close drive to the towns. Highly recommend staying here and will definitely book again.

4th of July with Friends

6 of us enjoyed our stay on an annual 4th of July getaway. The house worked well for 3 couples & had all we needed. As others have mentioned, the road noise is significant though there's little traffic overnight. And as we explored the lake in our boat & kayaks the road noise faded - and the lake & natural surroundings are just beautiful - eagles, loons, muskrat, etc. Thank you!

The cabin was fine. We couldn't get the TV to work and had to call Martin. After a few discussions we got it to work. One suggestion is to update the bath towels.

Homey and comfortable

We had everything we needed at this well stocked and well equipped home, which worked well for our ATV'ing trip. The only drawback was the small parking area for two pickups with trailers. We had to back in off a busy county road, but we managed.
