My family and I loved staying here. The villa was clean and nicely decorated. The location within Palmetto Dunes is a nice quiet area within walking distance to beach access. Use the beach access point that is on the south side of Barrington Court.

Great stay

Awesome location. Everything was clean and just as described. We loved being able to rent bikes and had them delivered and picked up.

Excellent stay. Period. Quiet, safe, just steps away from the beach. Sitting in the screened in porch or on the deck, sipping coffee while watching the wild life in the lagoon was a highlight.Highly recommended.

Mostly good, kitchen was crapped and community pool was not heated. We would return.

Perfect retreat.

Clean, quiet, comfortable and well appointed. Great lagoon view. Clean heated well equipped pool. Guest bedroom MATTRESSES old and uncomfortable and need be replaced. Bring your own coffee filters and salt & pepper. Overall vey happy and would rebook. Palmetto Dunes is definitely the right HH island location.

We had rain and wind the first two days and with the pine trees it rendered the back open porch unuseable. Landscape maintenance only came once during the week so we used the screened porch. Has had a palmetto bug in the kitchen area and upstairs bathroom in the unit but not a large problem. Reported water under the kitchen sink cabinet to rental company upon check out when we discovered it. Had three vehicles during a portion of the week and the third pass was allowed but not included 35 charge.

Excellent vacation

We loved the property and the location. The house was very clean, nicely decorated and looked updated (with a few small exceptions). The walk to the beach was about 8 minutes but was a beautiful walk. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the screened in patio - it was so nice to enjoy a cup of coffee without worrying about mosquitos. They had some chairs and beach toys in the outside closet which were awesome! Our only issue was the night we arrived- we had some trouble getting in the gate - we called the answering service and they said someone would call us asap. I also texted the number that had sent me messages. I never heard from anyone that night nor our entire vacation. We would stay here again!

Our family of 6 was very comfortable. Enjoyed the quiet location and convenience to golf and stores and restaurants. Rented bikes at the discounted rate, my family enjoyed riding. Proximity to beach was good.

Nice Place

We come to HHI multiple times every year, so we've had a lot of experience with rentals. Overall, we liked this place. 4 stars. The Good: • Huntington area of Palmetto Dunes is beautiful. • Short walk to the beach. • The villa is nice – bright, good living space, great TV. • Great porch and view of the lagoon. • Property manager was responsive. Quickly resolved our only issue. The Bad: • Could use some updates and a designer’s touch. • Master bed was not very comfortable – firm/hard mattress. • Not stocked with little things you find yourself looking for (salt, pepper, coffee filters, etc.). We left a bunch of these things behind for the next renters. • Main TV could use instructions. Took us a little while to navigate multiple remotes & find the main channels. • The VayKGear credit is nice but it’s not free. It will cost you $50 for delivery, taxes, fees. (or $100 if you wait too long like me). It would have been nice to know that beach chairs were already available in the unit. Overall, the good definitely outweighs the bad. We had a good trip. Just a few things kept it from being 5 stars.

Family Trip to Palmetto Dunes

Highly recommend this home for a family vacation. It was very clean, great location, nicely furnished and well equipped. Vacation company were very efficient and made the trip very smooth for us. Look forward to renting again for our next visit. We love Palmetto Dunes!!

Superb location, but needs a deep cleaning

I would stay here again if the place was scrubbed clean! I have a large list of issues, so I would not recommend this place unless it was thoroughly cleaned, including the fabric on couches, chairs and bedding. Great location and nice size. Also there was construction on the condo attached to ours which began every day at 7:30.
