Quiet Loft Condo on the Marsh

Beautifully updated 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo. Strong Wi-Fi, Great space to work from, enjoy wildlife, beaches and olde town St Augustine on you time off! Fall is the best season in North Florida!
Place is perfect for 1 person or a couple, the loft bedroom has on-suite bath with shower, new Serta Perfect Sleeper Matress and plenty of storage. The lower level offers an open floor plan with north-facing balcony over looking the tennis court. The kitchen is a joy to cook in and has a counter height bar area, great for eating or transforming into a work space. There is a smart TV upstairs and down with basic xfinity cable as well. Laundry is on site, $4 per load.
Located right on the marsh of the Intercostal waterway, watch nature, the tides, and the sunsets. The birds in the morning create a serenity and make this place a little paradise. Best of both worlds because this condo is 3 miles from downtown St Augustine, 2.5 mile from the beach and a 30-40 min drive to Jacksonville.
This condo was completely re-done in April 2020. New Luxury Vinyl flooring, vaulted ceilings, , kitchen and both bathrooms were gutted and everything is new! Please note you must walk stairs to get to front door and a second set of stairs to the loft bedroom and second bath.

It's a nice place and the view of the marsh in is wonderful in High tide. I enjoyed the activities that the neighborhood had to offer. Other guest that I bumped into were friendly. Nice verity of activities within 5 miles of the residents. the 28 steps that I had to climb from the first floor to the second floor and then up to the sleeping quarters were a bit much form me. I didn't like the multiple one-way switches that should have been three-way switches. (when I turned the light on at the bottom of the stairs to go up to the sleeping quarters and then turn it off at the top of the stairs to go to bed it worked fine. In the morning, if I forgot to turn the light on at the top of the stairs even though it wasn't needed because it was light out, the switch at the bottom of the stairs would be dead. It would no longer turn on the light so, I would have to walk up the stairs in the dark. Unfortunately, that' how one-way switches work. :(

Great location. Clean and safe neighborhood. Very quiet and peaceful.

Rebecca was a great host. I stayed in her condo for 3 months during a clinical rotation in St Augustine. Location is minutes to grocery, restaurants, beaches and downtown. The river is on property and is a blast for kayaking and fishing. As a single female I felt very safe and at home. Loved staying here and will definitely stay again. Thank you Rebecca for hosting and making me feel at home in your cozy condo!

Cozy unit

To summarize my experience, I would say this unit had a nice renovation and was comfortable to stay in. The association/owner requires more verification than a regular vacation rental. For business professionals, there was no desk area to work. I would say this rental was good for an extended term stay away from city life.
