We wanted the best of both worlds. From this spot you are about one mile to downtown Gatlinburg for the aquarium, shops, and restaurants, yet the cabin backs to quiet woods that feel private and calm. It is the kind of place where you can grab pancakes in the morning, hit a trail or Dollywood during the day, then come back to rocking chairs, a hot tub, and a sky full of stars.

The drive is quick and simple, the driveway is flat with plenty of parking, and you can be at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park entrance in roughly nine minutes. When we stay here as a family we walk into town when the weather is nice, and we love returning to the peace of the trees when the day is done.
