Enjoy the beautiful scenery, relax inside this charming 3 bedroom, 2 bath log cabin or unwind on the large back porch overlooking the Pacolet River with the peaceful sounds of Colt Creek that runs by the house into the river.
Newly renovated kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots/pans, coffee pot, toaster - the works! Extremely limited cell phone service at the cabin. *Linens and Firewood provided.

Had a great Thanksgiving stay at “Our Little Slice of Heaven”. Very awesome property, right on the North Pacolet River. Close to Saluda if you want to visit Saluda Outfitters or grab a bite out, but very tranquil if the goal is just to get away. Would highly recommend and plan on visiting again!

This was a clean, beautiful cabin in an absolutely gorgeous serene area. It was easy to get to off the interstate. I would definitely recommend to other people.

The creek out back was the high light. Towels, sheets were nice. Cabin is older, so it smelled funny. The property needs some TLC and it hasn't had a thorough cleaning in some time. It was as if they only cleaned the middle of the rooms, looking a little grimy along the edges. No hot water in back bathrm. Not on central air and heat. Granite countertops were very nice. Kitchen amenities were ok.

Absolutely perfect place to relax and unwind! Thank you so much for sharing your piece of heaven with us. Beautiful, cozy and just feels like home the moment you pull in. It's incredibly quiet and peaceful. The only sounds heard are the creek and the wildlife. During our weekend stay we say one other vehicle on the road otherwise we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere which is exactly what we wanted. Morning coffee in the swing listening to the creek was my favorite part of the day. We are already planning a visit back and hopefully a longer stay.

Magical

Lovely rustic cabin in the magical area of Pearson Falls, right on river flowing over rocks. Close to town and convenient to Saluda, Tryon and Landrum. Owner is lovely and cared about our stay. Highly recommend.

Peaceful Retreat

This cabin is gorgeous and has everything you could wish for. The rushing river sounds are soothing. It took a couple days to "detox" from all the time spent on electronics--- but we bonded over board games and 2 completed 1000 piece puzzles! The owner was very receptive and quick to answer any questions. I loved reading the book with the local history and the little town of Saluda is a perfect place to browse the shops and eat.

The perfect location

We were blown away by the beautiful location, comfortable accommodations, and cleanliness of this cozy cabin. The location could not be more ideal nestled between the creek and its tributary. You’re a stone’s throw from Pearson Falls, centrally located near Main Street stores, and you get to sleep at night with the sounds of a babbling creek out your back door. If you like to cook, the kitchen is fantastic. Can’t say enough good things about this terrific find.

Our stay in saluda

As part of our vacation we spended a few days at Saluda, the area was wonderful and the location of the house near the water is a dream. We were disappointed of the cleanliness of the house, it was not clean enough, and we have not enjoyed being in the house but have spended most of our time out side.

Overall just a beautiful place in the mountains and not to far from town if needed. Cell service is hit or miss and was great for all of the family to unplug! We will visit again.

Beautiful Spot

We spent a wonderful weekend surrounded by butterflies, the sound of the babbling creek and river. No wifi or service was a needed break from the electronic distractions - just what we needed. The trail across the street was beautiful and so easy to access on foot. We will be back!
