Sonny Springs - Waterfront House on Homosassa Deep Canal with Dock!

Nature Lover's Paradise! Snowbirds welcome, monthly discounts! Sonny Springs is on a spring fed deep water canal that is a 10 minute (no wake!) kayak trip to the head springs. Deep water access to the gulf with stunning views all the way (no bridges). Sitting on the dock is a great way to pass the time watching fish, manatees, otters, dolphins, turtles and birds. Enjoy the view, the kayaks or canoe (at your own risk), the springs, the well-equipped house and the laid back vibes of Homosassa. Beautiful pavers with a firepit!

Call Troy at 727-465-8491 with any questions. Large dock for your boat with direct access to the gulf. Kayaks are available for guests (at their own risk), the head spring is a quick kayak trip away. Beautiful, clear springs are a great place to see manatees, snorkel, dive, swim and paddle!

Fully equipped, updated kitchen and house for up to 8 guests. Spacious corner lot for backyard games. Fire pit and ample seating on the dock, lanai and deck. Bring your reusable water bottles for our reverse osmosis system! Exterior security cameras are used for front, side and backyards.

Great spot in Homosassa

Communication with the host was impeccable. Home was very clean and cared for. Plenty of parking for vehicles and boat. Great little spot on a deep water canal very close to the Springs. It's a decently long ride to get out to scallop grounds but that's mitigated by the closeness to the Springs. Highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy the Homosassa area.

Snorkeling with the manatees

My family of five traveled to Homosassa springs to fulfill my daughter's dream of swimming with manatees. Sonny Springs was amazing. The house was comfortable and well appointed. Its location was perfect. Waterfront and quiet but close to the main river. We took advantage of the provided kayaks and paddled to the main springs where we saw several manatees. Communication with our host Nancy was excellent. I would definitely stay again!

Enjoyable stay

Our family of 5 adults enjoyed staying at this house. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor space for all of us to enjoy in a quiet neighborhood. Everything was as listed.

Great location, close to springs!

Our host was very helpful and communicative, and being able to keep our boat at this property to easily get out to open water was so nice to have. Also loved being able to have access to a number of kayaks, paddleboard, cornhole game, and 2nd fridge in garage for extra drinks/leftovers. We'd love to stay here again, highly recommend.

Scalloping trip

This home is located perfectly. Close to spring and swimming area and just far enough away to make for a quiet and peaceful stay. Perfect for a family and layout of home was perfect for a family wanting a get away.

Relaxing time

The property was in nice condition, with a great location. The kitchen had all we needed for cooking the items we brought and caught. The back porch overlooking the boat dock was pleasant. Great family time.

Scallop vacation Homossasa 2023

For Christmas our family wanted experiences not gifts, so we gifted them this vacation house for our family. We had an amazing time what a great location we swam at the springs everyday. We scalloped 3 out of our 7 days and got 10 and 1/2 gallons of delicious scallops. We fished,kayaked and paddle boarded around manatees. We will return next year with the family again.

Perfect Homosassa Getaway

We rented this great home for a little over a week, so we could go scalloping with family and friends. The owner (Nancy) was very easy to contact, friendly and very helpful with area information. We took our boat, which is a 24' center console and our son took his boat, a 23' center console. We had plenty of room for both boats and ample parking for the trailers. The home is a split plan, so having opposite ends of the house was nice. The bedrooms are more spacious than they appeared in the pictures, which gave everyone plenty of elbow room. The house also has two refrigerators, so we didn't have to go shopping every day and we had plenty of room to store extra ice. I must note that Publix and shopping are only a few minutes away. This home was equipped with everything needed to get us through our stay. We grilled steaks, cooked spaghetti etc. and had plenty of seating for family meals. The house is very clean, updated, has a very spacious yard, outdoor seating and fire pit, and a nice roomy (screened) patio. We had daily wildlife (dolphin, a resident blue heron, numerous songbirds, turtles, wood ducks, hummingbirds....and more!) just outside the back door and it's a super short trip to the spring, where dolphin came and swam with everyone. Our ages range from 4-85 and everyone was pleased all the way around, so thank you Nancy! We highly recommend her river home and we'd definitely return, given the opportunity!

Good scalloping base

We had a fun week and the house provided us all that we needed. Our host was responsive to all our requests and the location was excellent for boating. I'd definitely consider a return visit.
