Enjoy spectacular, sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico from the balcony of this corner penthouse condo! This bright and beachy condo offers a comfortable setting to relax and unwind after a day at the beach. Other features include an oven, a microwave, and a dishwasher, along with all the dishes, pots, and utensils needed to prepare and serve meals. The newly renovated main bathroom includes a walk-in shower with beautifully tiled walls and floor plus a granite seat. A separate sink and vanity area complete the main bathroom. The main bedroom and the living room have televisions and DVD players for entertainment enjoyment. Perdido Sun offers additional amenities including a fitness center, an indoor and an outdoor pool, and direct beach access.

Things to know:
The indoor pool is now open again. Please note only three (3) people can be in the hot tub at any given time due to social distancing.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Late letting us in the room

Vacase wouldn’t late us in early even tho the cleaning people was gone. I had to call them to get us in the room. The codes didn’t work was told by staff at front desk that is old code.

Great Experience

Great place to stay in Perdido!

This rental is in a perfect location if you never want to truly leave Perdido Key. It’s located right across from Jellyfish, Paul’s Pizza, The Islander, and Pedro’s Mexican right down the street! Great for an anniversary trip! The room was just the right size for us, however might be a tad cramped for a family of 4. Beautiful ocean view, great view of the sunset in the evening. Fast elevators, no major issues at all! Would definitely recommend this unit, and hope to return in the future!

Love Perdido Key/Perdido Sun

We love how friendly the staff and condo owners are every time we stay. Loved how happy/colorful our specific condo was. Bed was super comfy. Cleaning services need some improvement as well as customer service. It became a multiple thing every day fighting with the breaker that kept getting flipped just to have lights in the living room and kitchen and the only thing Vacasa had for us was to just turn it back on. We found previous renters barbecue sauce container on the floor next to the couch and our feet were black just walking around in condo.

WHEN WE ENTERED IT LOOKED BEAUTFUL BUT AS WE LOOKED AROUND ...Room was not cleaned properly. dishes were dirty. and inside coffee pot was gross. COACH BED MATRESS WAS FULOF SAND AN NEEDS TO BE REPLACED VERY UNCOMFOTRABLE DEFINITLY NOT FOR A ADULT. NOT ENOUGH TOWELS FOR 4 PEOPLE ESPECIALLY NOT WITH A 8 YEAR OLD AND NO WASHER IN ROOM.HAD TO WASH AND DRY IN ON SITE LAUNDRY ROOM AND PAY THAT BEING SAID THE VIEW WAS BEAUTIFUL !!!!

Needs some TLC

The stay was 5 stars but the unit is in need of TLC. Lots of cracking and peeling paint throughout. What appeared to be a large amount of black mold on the outside of the balcony door. Worst design of a shower I’ve ever seen. With all that said we still enjoyed our time.

Black mold and clumps of hair

The location of the condo is awesome, the cleanliness however was lacking. When we checked in and got to our room we had to wait 20 minutes outside the door with all our luggage because they were still cleaning. Then we got to walk into a room with soaking wet floors. I later went to take a shower and discovered clumps of hair in the corner of the shower and black mold growing along the tile. Made me a little weary on how well the rest of the place was cleaned, and if I would get sick? Not exactly what I was hoping for on a nice vacation…

Very Disappointing - Our Honeymoon Was Ruined

We very much regret our choice of this condo. The photos are deceptive; it's really a very run-down property. The sad part is this was our honeymoon, so what should have been a wonderful week for us was more of an exercise in trying not to be uncomfortable. There are a multitude of issues as listed below: 1) The unit was very antiquated and poorly maintained. Chipping / peeling paint, blinds that wouldn’t close in the bedroom, A/C that was unable to keep up, and the one ceiling fan in the entire unit was rickety at best. 2) ONLY ONE CEILING FAN! It was located over the dining room table – very poor placement. This makes it very difficult to circulate air and therefore the unit stayed over-warm except for the “spots” where the A/C vents were blowing. The temperature was very uncomfortable. 3) The kitchen was poorly equipped. Our previous experiences with condos have been wonderful as we were able to cook and lessen our expenses eating out. That wasn’t possible here – the kitchen was woefully inadequate and we did, in fact, wind up eating out most meals. Sadly, the appliances were nice, but we had no opportunity to use them. 4) The floors were filthy; gritty, dust bunnies, hair, and small pieces of trash. 5) There is no in-unit laundry, and the property laundry was filthy and unavailable even in its filth. 6) Coded building entry is a nightmare. If you’re not standing in just the right spot, the doors won’t open, and we wound up standing 15+ minutes several times through the week we were there. 7) The plumbing is questionable. The toilets won’t flush completely unless you hold down the handles through the entire flushing process. Hot water is iffy – unreliable. The kitchen sink doesn’t drain properly but given the amount of black sludge in the disposal that’s really no surprise. 8) There is a horrible smell of mold/mildew – could be from anywhere but my money is on the disposal. 9) The bed linens were nice, but the spare blanket for the sofa bed smelled awful, was very old and rough, and was coming apart at the hem. The bed had no real comforter, but since it was hot and humid at all times it didn't overly matter. 10) Apparently, the building staff allow their friends/family members to use the pool, and they have NO respect for paying guests. One day a child belonging to a staff member’s family was accosting other people at the pool, including us, and they were trying to take toys from the other children and even told us if we didn’t give them our floatation devices (noodles), they’d “tell their aunt” and we would be kicked out. Their mother was too intoxicated to control her child. We didn’t go back to the pool after that. 11) The patio furniture is rickety as well. We were unable to enjoy the view in the mornings because we were concerned about the stability of the chairs. I will say the restaurant across the street, The Jellyfish, is great. Paul's Pizza Company is great also and in the same location. I wouldn't recommend this unit to anyone, under any circumstances.
