Unit A306 has an open floor plan that leads to a private spacious balcony with outdoor furniture. Beautifully decorated with a tropical design this unit is adorned with soothing colors of yellow, green and coral. There is decorative artwork throughout the unit which is enhanced by the stylish furniture in each room. The condo's kitchen is well appointed with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and beautifully tiled floors. All dishes, cooking utensils, and bake ware are provided to complete and serve meals. The dining area has a large table. This condo offers a unique twin bunk area for extra accommodations. The open living room houses a queen sofa bed, TV, and DVD player. There is a half bathroom located off of the main living area near the bunk room. The primary bedroom features a king bed with an ornamental headboard, bath with stand up shower and garden tub, TV, and DVD player. The second bedroom includes a king bed, bath with stand up shower and garden tub, TV, and DVD player.

Great stay, but updates needed

We absolutely loved Waterscape. The resort was fantastic. The activities for kids, the lazy River, the pool area - all were great. The walk to the beach took seconds. Overall the resort was awesome. The room was great as well. The location of the room cannot be beat. The views are fantastic. If you have a newborn, you may want to stay in a unit towards the back as it can be noisy until 10pm. Our only complaint with the room was, for the price, it should be a little more updated. The kitchen is outdated and didn’t have a ton of amenities. These things are small, but no cutting board, not a lot of large bowls, etc. the dishwasher is super loud. Oven is old and outdated. Countertop microwave. Furniture needs updated. TVs are very old and small (not that TV is a big deal on vacation) Which is all fine, but let the price reflect that.

A306 Stay

View was very nice! Could see pool area and beach. Generous sized bathrooms, kitchen/fridge/washer /dryer good. Beds and some furniture could be updated. Overall very nice stay, and worked well for our families!

Excellent location

The condo was a great location being right on the beach and close to restaurants. We enjoyed the pools and the lazy river and some of the night activities like glow dance party and movie night. The condo itself was nice and had everything we needed.

The Perfect Beach Condo

Love the pool and the view

Great location but unit needs some improvements

I rely on reviews when booking vacations, so here goes- Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this resort and would absolutely stay here again- but we’d probably explore other options for a room. The amenities were perfect and beach was beautiful. Loved the beach service and pool bar. Pros: The room was large and mostly clean. The beds were very comfortable and I appreciated how many towels were provided. The balcony overlooks the Lazy River and there is a partial ocean view. Also appreciated the water temperature because we love a good hot shower, but be careful if you have little ones who like to turn the handles while taking a bath. Check in/out was super easy and it was simple to contact management if we needed anything. Parking garage is attached to the resort, so you can park on your floor, which was nice. Cons: The TVs in both bedrooms did not turn on at all and the volume on the living room TV would not adjust and was stuck at a low volume… we tried everything. This wouldn’t have mattered as much if it hadn’t rained for two days and our kids didn’t wake up at 6am. Some remotes were missing batteries and backs. The dishwasher made an awful sound off and on while running- like an engine starting up. Mismatched light bulbs throughout the unit and mild mildew in the master bathroom. Living room rugs and pillows need a deep clean or completely replaced. The rug felt dirty to walk on. Tips: There are some large piece puzzles provided, but you’ll need to bring your own games and cards. No DVDs provided but the resort offers free rentals. There are no plastic dishes or utensils- everything is glass or ceramic- something to again keep in mind if you have littles. Other than a frozen pizza, we didn’t cook, so I can’t comment on cookware provided, but there wasn’t a pizza cutter. The area with the bunk beds is great, but it’s open to the kitchen- no door. Even adding a curtain here would be nice for a touch of privacy. TVs are not smart TVs. Again, we enjoyed our stay but the room could use some attention to detail to match the price per night.

The condo was perfect, enjoyed views from each room, really like the third floor and close location to beach.. We will stay at Waterscape again soon.

Overall, a great beachfront resort

Overall, Waterscape Resort is a great beachfront resort with an excellent location & short walk to beach. PROS: A306’s balcony provides a nice view of the Gulf/beach, Lazy River & lower pool areas. Stocked sufficiently with pots, pans, dinnerware, cutlery, etc. Comfy beds (although we didn’t try out the sofa bed). Spacious bathrooms & showers, stocked with ample towels. It rained ~50% of our time here this visit, so we enjoyed renting free DVDs from the kiosks during downpours. Large dining table with sufficient seating for 8. Covered parking garage is nice, & allows direct access to condo floor level. A306 is very close to elevator to 1st floor /beach/pool access. The on-site Fudpuckers concession near pool area is very convenient & has great food, snacks, drinks & cocktails. Gas grills in pool area (usually a wait to use, but not too long). Beach service with chairs & umbrella is nice. CONS: A306 sleeps 8, however there are only 3 patio chairs & 1 round table on the large balcony; a few more chairs would’ve been nice so that we could all (or most of us) enjoy the balcony. There were 2 nonstick pots/pans which were scratched, which is unsafe to use once scratched or peeling. Our dishwasher was very LOUD, & left food on dishes. We notified front desk of issue on first morning, however no repair was made. We’ll bring disposable plates, cups, cutlery, etc. next time, so that we don’t have to wash dishes by hand while vacationing—although this should’ve been addressed by Waterscape immediately. On each morning of our stay, the groundskeeper used a LOUD blower in & around the entire pool & lazy river area from 7am-8am. While we appreciate the cleanliness, we would’ve appreciated sleeping in. We come to Waterscape every year, usually in different condo units, & this is the first time ever to have any complaints. Waterscape is a great resort, especially for families with young children, however it would be AWESOME if one of the pools were designated as adult-only—perhaps the pool on the second level. For anyone who hasn’t stayed at Waterscape before, bring extra trash bags, paper towels, & toilet paper, if you think you’ll use more than one roll of paper towels, one garbage bag, & one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, as that is all that’s provided. Also, coffee maker is traditional drip, so bring coffee filters if you plan in making coffee; none are provided.

Perfect!!

We had a great time - very impressed with the staff and the communication with the Vacasa team at Waterscape. Shout out to Frank Vitale (GM at Waterscape) as he was very helpful during our stay. Will definitely be back and will recommend Vacasa and Waterscape! Thank you for a great time!

Great stay!!

As always our stay at waterscape was excellent. We loved the location of this particular room. Beautiful balcony view, spacious rooms, large dining table and balcony for everyone to fit comfortably! Hoping this room will be available when we book again next year!

Beautiful Condo and Amenities

Having usually stayed at hotels this was a eye opening experience. The condo was amazing, very clean and spacious and everything I wanted or needed was all there. Very easy check in process and everything was all communicated very well. The pool was one of my main selling points and it didn't disappoint. Very easy access to the beach and everything you need is included. Excellent time and I cant wait to come back

Not the best

Everything we loved about our trip had nothing to do with the condo itself but rather the pools/toddler area/beach. Besides the decor being very dated and dark (not at all “beach” colors as described)…Balcony view was blocked by a huge palm tree which was really disappointing. Pics on rental didn’t show this or else I would’ve chosen another unit. This is our 4th time at Waterscape, we love it there! But will choose a different unit on our next visit.

We enjoyed everything from check in to check out!

We enjoyed our stay in A306. Checking in over the phone was nice. The walk to the room from the parking garage was long but I guess that’s expected with the unit being so close to the beach. Everyone in our party loved the beds and the views. The door codes were a plus! Not having to keep up with room keys was the best part for me. The three mothers in our party all said that this was the best Mother’s Day ever! The online checkout was great as well.

Waterscape Ft. Walton

The unit was very nice, true to pictures. Beautiful view from our balcony. Beds were very comfortable. The only negative was the long hallway walk to get to our unit.
