Charming & cozy in-town retreat in the heart of New Buffalo

This unique and charming cottage located just steps away from downtown New Buffalo, in the heart of Harbor country. Perfect for a Chicago family getaway, or a romantic retreat. The interior is bright and has an open floor plan, including a kitchen built for creating amazing meals! The yard is large and private with a grill, table, outdoor chairs, and a large fire pit, firewood included. The cottage has wireless internet and cable. Amenities include a spacious back yard, dual flush toilet, radiant floor heat in bathroom, and energy star appliances. A backyard shed includes two adult bikes and we're just a few blocks away from Beer Church and Lions Pavillion Park and Beach. *New fenced in back yard so the pups can roam a bit more freely (just be sure to double check the gate :)

*Please note that we have an exterior camera positioned to view the front door. This camera is for both security reasons and to help guests that might have any issues gaining access to the home.

What a wonderful holiday for college roommates. Everything at Marcus's house was perfect for us. The bonus was the big beautiful backyard.

Wonderful stay

The photos don’t do this rental justice - it’s so homey and cute. Everything was spotless, and the beds were comfortable. It was easy to stay home and make dinner, and we had a lot of fun using the bonfire outside. It’s also a short walk to the main restaurants in town. We’ll definitely be staying here again.

Clean, Comfy, and Dog-Friendly Perfection

What a perfect getaway! The house was spotless, super comfy, and in the best location. Our two dogs were in heaven with the fenced yard, and we all loved the dog beach at Warren Dunes just 20 minutes away. So many little touches made our stay extra special. We can’t wait to come back!
Everything you need and a fabulous grocer is nearby!
Fabulous Grinder and coffee machine with local beans to grind. It was delicious!

Cute "Cottage" Home Near Town - New Buffalo

It was just my wife and I visiting relatives in New Buffalo. We were looking for a cute place close to town. We found it! This home has a very warm "Cottage" like feel to it. Easy walk to town shops , restaurants, harbor, etc.. We will come back and stay again.

New Buffalo getaway.

Very cozy & clean property. Home was well stocked with all basic items making it easy to walk in & begin your vacation. Slight downfall was out side noise during the day in back yard as property is a bit close to a busy road. Other than that it’s a perfect property for a getaway in the New Buffalo area.

Chicago weekend getaway

Perfect Spot

Our annual girls trip was extra enjoyable because of this cute little cottage. It’s so close to everything and had everything we needed. Check in and out was a breeze. Would absolutely stay again.

Great stay

Absolutely loved the cottage! It was a perfect location to do so many things, a lot of dog friendly places too. We also spent a good amount of time at the property playing card games and throwing the ball with our dog in the backyard.

Gorgeous and cozy

We absolutely loved staying here. Fenced in back yard for our pup and the cottage layout and decor was a masterful mix of functional design and intelligent architecture. The hosts were super friendly. We visit the area often and are looking forward to staying with Marcus and Tony again.

Great Kitchen!

We enjoyed the property's kitchen and all it's gadgets. We were also pleased with the amenities, like the heated floor and outdoor firepit. The property was close enough to the beach to walk, and we made a trip down to the beach both nights!

Excellent dog-friendly cottage

The cottage is clean, well stocked and in walking distance to a grocery store, restaurants, etc. We also walked to the marina and beach from the cottage. Skylights were lovely. The fully fenced yard was perfect for our dogs. We will stay here again when in New Buffalo.

Fabulous Friends

AMAZING! We had only two nights, but wished we’d had several more. Our first night, we sat by the fire pit- so relaxing. The cottage had so many small touches including a gift basket upon arrival, quality soaps, coffee grinder, extra towels, etc. It is filled with quality furnishings and appliances. Beds were comfortable! Downtown is walking distance, which I’m sure would be a huge advantage in season. We will definitely stay here again if it’s available when we visit.

as my 5 year old said

Wow. This place has been our favorite Lake MI rental in years. It was incredibly clean. And so many thoughtful things in the home. From laundry detergent, firewood, kindling, anything you could need to make the stay wonderful. My son LOVED the tree swing. The backyard was a total escape from life, we loved it. The hammock
wow. I’ve already found the same one on Amazon for our home because it’s a dream. The location was great. We were able to walk to several places but also quick to get on the highway. My only complaint is the size of the beds and the second bed upstairs not advertised as a loft, so there is no door. Those things aside we loved it and hope to come back.

The house was very clean. I appreciate a clean house as I have allergies. Kitchen had every utensil a cook might want. The fenced yard would be nice for little guys. Bathroom was good. Such a beautiful home with amazing amenities! My husband loves to cook so we always make sure to book a place with a kitchen and this one is very stocked with cookware compared to usual rentals. All types of coffee makers too. Regular machine drip, chemex, aero press, and of course really great beans provided by the host. Plus 2 bikes available for use! Very happy with this place and Marcus was super responsive via text and checked in to make sure we were set up ok.
